PART 1
L.A. Angel's Mansion
Faith looked around her room for her keys. 'Damn I'm already late. Where did I put them?' She is now throwing clothes from the floor onto the bed. 'Ha!' The keys were hidden underneath the clothes she had been wearing the previous night. She walked towards her bed and grabbed the duffelbag and walked out of her room.
Faith was declining the stairs into the living room when she saw Angel, Wesley, and Cordelia sitting on the couch. Angel and Wesley were talking while Cordelia was looking in the latest fashion magazine. Angel looked up "You ready?" he asked her. "Yup. All packed up and ready for my adventure." She says while heading towards the foyer. "You will be careful won't you?" Wes says looking at her with a worried look on his face. "Of course she'll be careful, Wes!" Cordy interjects and smiles at Faith. "Besides if she needs us she'll call, right?" Raising her eyebrow to make her point. "Too true, Cor." Faith says winking at her, "I better jet. I'll call you later." With that she is out the door.
Outside Faith walks towards her bike and loads her duffelbag securely on the back of the bike. 'God I love my Harley.' She gets on and starts it up, she takes one last look at the mansion and then takes off. 'Two and a half hours and I'll be home.' She thinks to herself, and gets on the highway heading south.
PART 2
Sunnydale-Magic Box
"Giles!" Buffy yelled coming out of the back of the shop. "We need a new chain to hold up the punching bag!" She says looking around. "What did you do to the ones that were holding it up?" Giles asks walking out of his office. Buffy gives a chuckle, "They broke," she says smiling sweetly at him. Before he could object the bell rang as the front door to the shop opened and giggling filled the shop.
Entering the room were two of Buffy's favorite wiccans. "Hi Buffy. Giles." Willow says between giggles, while Tara only waved to them. "Willow. Tara. What are ya'll doing tonight?" Buffy asked sitting down in a nearby chair. The two girls look at each other then at Buffy, "Um, nothing yet." Willow says smiling. The two girls sit across from Buffy. "Why do you ask?" Willow looks at her curiously. "Oh, well I wanted to see if ya'll wanted to come over tonight and watch a movie or two. You see Dawn is going over to Sarah's house for a few days and I thought 'make the most of it.' You know? So what do you say?" Buffy gave them both a pleading look that no one could refuse. "I'm in, sounds like fun." This came from Tara and not from Willow. Both Buffy and Willow looked at her their faces showing the shock which caused Tara to blush. "Woo-hoo! Tara loves me! What about you Will?" Buffy says happily looking at her best friend. "Well how could I refuse?" Willow says smugly looking over at Tara who is now turning a nice shade of crimson. "Cool, then it's settled. We'll go to get the videos after we leave here. Okay?" Buffy said getting up from her chair and going to change, not even waiting for a response. 'This day hasn't turned out so bad' she thought to herself going into the bathroom.
So she thought.
Sunnydale-Faith's Apartment
Faith parked her bike in the garage and turned it off. 'Man I never thought I would be back here again,' she thought getting off her bike and grabbing her duffelbag.
Faith made her way to the door she remembered and took out her keys. Finding the key and putting it in the hole she turned the doorknob. 'Well some things just don't change.' She opened the door to the apartment the mayor had given her and stood there in complete awe. Everything was fixed from the last time she was here. There weren't any signs of the fight that occured here. She walked towards the table and noticed an envelope with her name on it. 'What the hell?' She dropped her bag on the floor and picked it up and opened it and she read it slowly. 'Oh fuck this is a will.' She slowly put the will back into the envelope and placed it back on the table. Faith turned and picked her bag back up and headed towards her bedroom. 'Same ole, same ole' she thought to herself as she unpacked her clothes. She looked at her watch it was still early and she had a few things to take care of still. Grabbing a few clothes she turned to the bathroom and began to get ready for a shower.
PART 3
Sunnydale-Video Store
"Ooh! What about this one?" Buffy says to the two wiccans while holding up a new release for them to see. "I dunno Buffy. I mean that Hannibal guy really freaks me out." Willow says, while her eyes go wide. "Awe! come on Will!" Buffy says then turning to Tara, "You wanna watch it don't you?" Buffy gave Tara her best puppy eyes. "W-Well, l-look at it this w-way, it'll give us an excuse to cuddle." Tara says looking at Willow with a mischevious grin. "Awe. Fine! But I'm not going to like it!" Willow says knowing that she would indeed like, actually love, to cuddle with Tara anytime. "Wicked Cool! Now we just need one more...What do you think Tara?" Buffy says not even looking up from the stacks of videos. "W-Well how about this 'Valentine' movie?" Tara says holding it up to show her. "Hell yeah! This is the one with that cute guy...what's his name?! Oh yeah David something or other...well it's definitely in!" Buffy says grabbing the movie away from Tara to put it with the rest of the movies and walked to the counter to check out. The wiccans followed Buffy hand in hand smiling at the slayer. 'This is gonna be soo much fun!' Buffy thought to herself.
Sunnydale
Faith turned the corner to the street that lead to her heart and slowed down. 'I can't believe I'm actually doing this. What if she's not home? What if she is?' Faith was too busy thinking about the outcome of her visit that she ended up passing the house of her destination. 'Shit! Good goin' Faith!' She turned the bike around and headed back to the house this time stopping in front of it. She killed the engine and put the stand down. She slowly got off the bike and started to walk towards the house. She soon found herself standing on the porch in front of the door. She rose her arm and knocked on the door. 'God I hope she doesn't try to kill me or something.' Was the last thing she thought before she saw two pools of blue looking back at her.
Summers' home-living room
Buffy, Willow, and Tara were all sitting in the living room trying to decide which movie to watch first. "Okay. We've got Hannibal, Valentine, The Craft-my personal favorite, The Faculty, Tomb Raider, and Scary Movie." Willow says getting up to look at the movies that were resting on the coffee table. Tara and Buffy looked at each other and then at Willow before they both said in unison, "Hannibal!" Willow scolded at Buffy and then at her girlfriend then reluctantly put in the tape. Then turned to them and said, "Ya'll are just mean!" Willow made her way towards the couch and sat down next to her girlfriend and crossed her arms. The movie starts and Willow moves a little closer to Tara. Just as Clarice came into view on the screen there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it!" the redhead says about to get up, but was stopped by Buffy. "No you don't." Buffy says sternly, then pointing to the couch says, "Sit!" Willow did as instructed while Buffy made her way to the door. Buffy opened the door and was instantly looking into the most beautiful dark eyes that she had missed for so long. "Faith?" she whispered silently in shock.
