Standing in the doorway to the nursery, leaning against the frame, Buffy smiled at her sleeping angels. Hearing the soft tread of someone coming up the stairs, she looked down the hallway.  When Dawn's form finally appeared, she let out a soft chuckle as her little sister sleepily stumbled her way up the hall.  Going over to the younger girl, the blonde wrapped her arm around her sister's waist to help guide her along.  "This way Dawny, I'll get ya to your room."  Buffy whispered as she helped the younger girl.

Faith stood in the doorway of the master bedroom, her arms folded across her chest as she shook her head in wonder.  Seeing her wife disappear into her sister-in-law's bedroom, she heard a soft 'sleep tight sweetie' before seeing her lover emerge moments later.  When Buffy got close enough to her, the brunette pulled her wife into the circle of her arms.  "She alright?"

"Yeah."  Buffy whispered back, her lips softly kissing the brunette's collar bone.  "I can't believe she still sleep walks to bed." Allowing her wife to scoop her up into her arms, Buffy rested her head on Faith's shoulder as she was carried to bed.  "She's grown up so much, but she's still Dawny."

Laying Buffy down on the soft mattress of their bed, Faith kissed the blonde's forehead.  "She'll always be Dawny sweets, no amount of time's gonna change that."  Climbing into the bed with her partner, Faith smiled into the darkness of their bedroom.  "I can't believe she did that to her teacher.   Drawing the two of us in a passionate kiss as her project for the most beautiful thing she's ever seen."  Shaking her head, she chuckled softly as she remembered the college girl telling the story.  "That chic deserved it though, being as close minded as she was."

"I can't believe she streaked the cafeteria with her roommate.  My little sister went running around in the buff with  Amanda. They're suppose to be good girls and instead they give the whole campus a free show."  Buffy said in an astonished whisper.  Even though she was a little shocked by the story, she couldn't help but laugh softly.  "I guess I should expect stuff like that though, she did spend a lot of time with you."

Rolling half way on top of the blonde, Faith smirked down at her wife.

"Very funny B, but you're not as innocent as you wish you were.  You were just as bad an influence on D-girl as I was."

"Did you have fun camping with your girls D?"  Faith asked when the younger Summers came walking through the door, followed by her gorgeous wife.

"Oh yeah, we had a blast."  Turning to look at Buffy, the brunette bopped up and down with barely contained excitement.  "We stayed at a sight not far from a golf course, so we used that thing you did that one time." Dawn's smile was from ear to ear as she looked up at her sister.

Seeing the soft blush creep into the blonde's cheeks, Faith frowned slightly. "What thing would that be Dawn?"

Turning back around to face the dark haired slayer, Dawn rushed over to sit next to her sister's wife.  "This one time Buffy and a group of her friends back in L.A. got a bag of the big marshmallows and throw them at random spots on a golf course."  Looking over the back of the sofa at her bright red sister, Dawn laughed as she said, "You should've heard those golfers cursing up a storm when they'd try to find their ball."  Her blue eyes twinkled with remembrance of the mischief she and her friends hand caused.  "We hid out in the bushes so we didn't miss anything, it was too funny."

"And you got this from your big sister?"  Faith said in mock horror, her brown eyes looking over at her wife.  "B, I'm shocked that you'd allow your little sister to learn such awful things from you."  She watched as Buffy came into the living room, her wife's cheeks were now a very becoming shade of red.

"That wasn't as bad as what you told me to do." Dawn said to the older brunette.

"And what did Faith tell you to do Dawn?"  Buffy asked, her green eyes locked on her wife's smirking features.

Shaking her head at the little exchange, Dawn launched into the story.

"We got an empty ketchup bottle and put a red smoke bomb in it. When every thing finally settled, we swapped it for a bottle in this little dinner."

Looking back and forth between the two slayers, the huge grin never leaving her face, Dawn continued.  "While we were eating lunch, some guy tried to pour it on his fries and all this smoke came out instead.  He was bright red and got so mad, I was afraid he's shi-"

"Don't even say it."  Buffy interrupted quickly.  Seeing her sister about to open her mouth, she said, "And I don't care if you're eighteen now, you're still my little sister and you're not finishing that sentence."

Smiling at her sister, the young brunette shook her head.  "Alright B."

Buffy's head snapped up as she looked at Faith, who simply burst out into a fit of laughter.  Looking at her sister's smirking features, Buffy chuckled under her breath at Dawn's use of Faith's pet name for her.

** PRESENT DAY **

Opening her eyes to the soft sun filtering in through the white blinds, the slayer uncurled herself from her wife's warm body and got out of bed. Hearing a whimpered protest of her leaving, she leaned down to gently kiss full lips before slipping out the door.  Pushing her long blonde hair behind her ears, Buffy went into the nursery to check on her little ones.  A bright smile lit up her green eyes when she saw little Logan already awake, kicking and punching at the air.  Leaning down into the crib, she scooped up the child and kissed his hair sprinkled head. "Aren't you an early bird."  She whispered as she looked over at a peacefully sleeping Maxine.  Turning to look at Logan's wide green eyes, Buffy spoke softly.  "Looks like she's gonna take after your mommy Faith and aunt Dawn.  Another brunette who doesn't wake up 'til lunch time."  Kissing the top of Logan's head again, Buffy rubbed his back while re-rested on her chest for the walk down the stairs.

Faith awoke to the sound of soft giggling coming from a short distance.  Rolling over in her bed, she wasn't surprised to find Buffy already up and gone.  What did surprise her was the digital clock reading in big green numbers 9:30. Rubbing her eyes, she sat up in bed and started climbing out.  "It's way too early to be awake...if you're me or Dawn." She said with a shrug, walking into the hallway in search of the creature creating the cute sound responsible for her opened eyes.

As she walked into the nursery she couldn't keep the bright smile from her face, her brown eyes landing on her happy daughter.  Walking over to little Maxie's crib, she watched as the little girl pumped her legs excitedly, releasing a soft giggle every time her foot connected with one of her toys.  Leaning over the crib, Faith took the happy child out of her bed, twirling her around a few times before hugging the little body to her chest. "Who's my giddy girl in the morning?"  Kissing the baby's chubby little cheek, the brunette bounced the little one a few times as she started on her way down stairs.  "I guess mommy and Logan are already down stairs huh?  How he can wake up early and still be my little guy is beyond me Maxie."

Hearing her wife walking into the kitchen, Buffy turned to the baby boy in question, saying, "We should just explain to mommy that not everyone is nocturnal like she is." Smiling down at the wide eyed baby sitting in his hopping chair on the kitchen table, Buffy bent down to affectionately rub her nose against his, earning a drooling smile.

Shaking her head at her two favorite blondes, Faith looked at Maxine.  "At least we know what's up right Max, and it's not us unless the sun is nice and high."

Looking away from the wall she was painting as soft blue, she frowned over at her wife.  "Did you ask Will and Tara what the mixture does to you?"  The slayers were currently painting the room they'd cleaned out to make their nursery, both finally ready to have kids.  Continuing to paint her wall, Buffy awaited for her answer.

"Nope, why?"  Glancing over her shoulder to the blonde, the roller stopping on its way down.

"Well, Tara said that we could have a boy or a girl." Seeing that the brunette needed further explanation, Buffy sighed softly. "We're both girls Faith, neither one of us carries the right stuff to make a boy, only guys do." Frowning as she continued with her train of thought, Buffy glanced over to her right.  "If we'll be able to have a boy, that means whoever drinks the stuff will have to be a..."

Buffy's green eyes snapped back to her wife's brown gaze, both girls were wide eyed with that realization. Laughing softly, Faith shook her head.  "If the girls suffering from penis envy only knew a little magic."  Seeing the blonde's shoulders shake with soft laughter, the brunette nodded her head as she came to a decision.  "I'll be the one drinking the stuff B.  It's just more fitting, I'm the butch one in the relationship."

Smiling fondly at the younger slayer, Buffy shook her head. "You might have the bad ass attitude and look, but I'd never describe you as butch."  Going back to painting her wall, she added,  "And there's no way I'm gonna argue to be the one to sprout something for one night."

"Who says it'll be a sprout?"  Faith asked with a smirk.  "I'll bet I'm bigger than soul boy."

Mumbling under her breath, Buffy smiled as she whispered to herself, "Wouldn't take much to do that."

Cooing softly to little Logan as she tickled his baby fat belly, Dawn laughed at the tiny sounds he made. Leaning down to kiss the child's forehead, she glanced over to where Max was dozing off in her swing.  Looking back at the baby on the blanket spread on the floor, Dawn shook her head slightly.  "You two are a piece of cake to watch, I can't believe it took Buffy two hours to finish with all her 'in case of emergencies'.  You guys won't be going out of this house until you're thirty, unless Faith can get her to see reason."  Scooping the little one up, she sat in the rocking chair, hoping the movement would cause the little boy to join his sister in dreamland.

Pulling her cell phone out of her purse, the blonde looked for any new messages or missed calls.  From across the table, the blonde's companion frowned.  "B, I'm about ready to toss that thing in the fish tank over there. Dawn is fine and so are the twins, we haven't been out for a while, so now that we are... I'd kind of like you to be here while we're out."

Tucking the object back into her purse, Buffy smiled sheepishly at her wife.  "I'm sorry, it's just that we've never been without them since they were born.  Besides you have your mirror looking thing, I have my phone looking thing."  Reaching across the table she took Faith's hand and felt something cool and smooth inside it.  Looking up with a suspicious expression on her beautiful features, she smirked at her love.  "What's in your hand Faith?"

Smiling across the table into glowing green eyes, the brunette asked,  "You remember that night I proposed?"

"Like yesterday."  Looking around the restaurant with a questioning gaze, she then returned her attention to her wife. "This is where we were gonna have dinner that night."

Nodding her head, Faith slipped the object from her hand into the blonde's.  "It's a gift for everything you've done for me, and for the munchkins back at home."  She watched her wife's face light up as the girl's eyes settled on the ring.  "It's a mother's ring, the two emeralds are Max and Logan because it's their birth stone." Faith explained as she took the ring to slip it on Buffy's finger.

"Thank you."  Buffy said softly, unshed tears shimmering in her green eyes.

** 2 YEARS PRIOR **

"Mom would be proud..." Buffy said, pulling her little sister into another hug, tears running down her cheeks the entire time.  Pulling back again, smoothing her hand down soft brunette strands, the blonde gave the girl a watery smile.  "We're all really proud of you Dawny."

Seeing that her wife was about to crush the girl in another hug, Faith wrapped her arms around the blonde's waist.  Looking over her love's shoulder into thankful blue eyes, Faith smirked knowingly at the younger girl. "Work hard up there D, and don't do anything I wouldn't do."

"So I can do basically anything."  Seeing the twin scowls from the two slayers, Dawn smiled sheepishly.  "I'll be on my best behavior, I promise."  Hearing her flight called, she bent down and picked up her bags, then smiled one last time at her family.  "You two better call and write and all that other stuff."

"Same goes for you." Buffy called as she watched her sister walk toward her gate.

Turning back to the slayers on last time, she yelled out, "And I want to be up dated on the baby sitch all the time."

With that said the two slayers watched the girl disappear to board her flight.  Leaning close to her wife's ear, Faith whispered, "When did you tell her that we were talking about kids?"

"I didn't." Buffy said, frowning in confusion.

After a moment of thought, both slayers said in unison, "Willow and Tara."

** PRESENT DAY **

The two slayers quietly made their way into their house, having years of practice, this wasn't a hard task for them.  Upon entering the living room, both girls stopped in their tracks to look on the precious scene.  Kissing her wife on the forehead, Faith whispered, "I'm gonna grab my camera, don't let them move."

Buffy nodded her head, her gaze never leaving the sight of her little sister fast asleep with her son and daughter.  Dawn was on her back, lying on the sofa with Maxine tucked into the crook of one arm and Logan resting on her chest.  When Faith came back into the room, she walked around the entire sofa, snapping pictures form every angle before the slayers carried the sleeping trio to bed.  They placed Logan and Max in their cribs and Dawn in her bed before heading off to sleep themselves.

Pulling Buffy close into her arms as they snuggled under the covers, Faith kissed her wife tenderly.  "Told ya there was nothing to worry about."

"Yeah yeah." Buffy said in response to the brunette's smug tone before snuggling closer and closing her eyes.
