Love Makes Us Real

Faith was still kneeling in front of Buffy, but she stopped what she was doing when Buffy hung up the phone. The brunette looked up at her with uncertainty.
"Is my phone manner not correct?" Buffy asked brightly.
"No… I… Buffy… I think that Red needs our help." Faith couldn't let anything happen to the scoobies just 'cause she was gettin' some. That whole jail thing had given her plenty of time to develop a conscience. Besides she owed Willow for the whole wonderfulness of Buffybot.
"Faith?" Buffy seemed genuinely surprised.
"B, I'm drunk not retarded." Faith chuckled. Then as she stood up, said teasingly, "but I'm starting to think that you might be!" The brunette quickly stole a kiss.
Buffy still stood, staring at her speechlessly.
"Wow, this is a new one. I usually have to ask you for an intermission so I can use the bathroom." Faith took in Buffy's silence, and tried to make a joke of it.
The blonde finally found her voice, "We'd better go."
"B, you're not mad, are ya? 'Cause I meant everything I said, ya know?… about loving you and all. I… I really do. I love you." Faith's tone had become increasingly nervous; she blushed and looked at the floor.
"Yeah, Faith I know." Buffy acted a little less pissed off. "But we have to go now so we don't have time for this conversation yet, okay?" She added gently, tipping the brunette's face up and meeting those dark eyes with her own emerald ones.
Faith swallowed back tears and nodded.
"Okay then… let's get dressed."
They arrived back at Buffy's house in silence, both of them lost in their own thoughts.
"Willow… Wil, we're here." Buffy called out as she held the door open for Faith.
Willow came quickly around the corner from the dining room area, "Good." Her and Faith looked at each other with hesitation and some embarrassment.
"Hi… Red… I mean Willow."
"It's okay Faith. You can call me Red... I'm glad that you came with."
Both Buffy and Faith looked at Willow with shock.
"I need your help with this problem." Willow continued, glancing at Buffy before turning back to Faith. "It's Buffybot… "
PART 22 - Pretty Hard To Explain
"Didn't I tell you to switch that THING off, once you got into the car?!!!" Buffy's temper was re-ignited.
Faith looked at Buffy surprised by the hatred in her tone.
"I know, but she wouldn't let me." Willow looked uncomfortable again. "Not until she saw Faith, first."
Now it was Faith's turn to look uncomfortable. "Well… um… Where is she?"
"IT!" Buffy corrected Faith.
Willow turned toward Buffy, "She… I mean… It, took off running when we got to the house and Faith wasn't here." Willow cleared her throat. "She… uh… The bot climbed up a telephone pole…" Willow eyes darted between Faith and Buffy trying to gauge their reaction. She continued nervously, "We had Buffybot cornered but… I think she was too worried about hurting us if she tried to escape, so she climbed up the nearest telephone pole… I don't know how she managed it. Anyway, Tara, Dawn, and Xander are still down the street trying to talk the Buffybot into climbing back down. I'm thinking that the last thing we want, is for someone to see her and call the Fire Department."
"Yeah, that'd be pretty hard to explain." Faith started to laugh but stopped when she saw Buffy's expression.
The blonde glared at both of them before asking through clenched teeth, "Where's this telephone pole?!"
PART 23 - Please, Don't Let Me Slip!
Dedication: To everyone who is providing feedback, and to Lissa LuckyCharm. That's a beautiful little poem. Thanks for permission to use it.
When they arrived on the scene, Xander was still standing near the base of the telephone pole trying to coax the little bot down. The scoobs turned and saw them approaching.
Xander looked at Faith and said, "Thank god!"
*Now that's a first!* Faith gave the group an apologetic smile before saying, "Hey there." She chewed her lip nervously.
Buffy strode over to Xander's side and looked up angrily, "GET DOWN HERE THIS SECOND!"
"No! You are not my friend."
"YOU'VE GOT THAT RIGHT! NOW GET YOUR CHIPS AND WIRES DOWN HERE, YOU LITTLE…!"
Willow put a hand on Buffy's shoulder, "Please, let's just let Faith try first."
Buffy literally growled and turned to Faith in disgust. "Get your little sexbot down, now… before someone sees it!"
Faith walked to a better lit spot and called up to the little slayerbot, "Bbot, it's me Faith. I'm here now. So c'mon down. Please."
"Faith! It's Faith! She's come to take me home!"
The brunette swallowed hard trying to dislodge the lump in her throat. "Yes, that's right my little Bbot. So please come down."
"Yes. I was looking for you. I told Willow that you'd miss me. She said that you were waiting for me." The Buffybot sounded sad.
"I'm sorry Bbot. I meant to be there, but I had to go slaying. You know how that is, right Bbot?"
"Oh yes. I go slaying too. Faith, I tried to tell Willow that you are my friend. You love me."
The dark slayer's eyes began to water, "Yes, I love you. C'mon down." Faith avoided looking at the Scoobies and Buffy.
"Faith, I don't think that I can." Buffybot sounded afraid.
As the rest of the group looked up, Faith walked to the base of the pole preparing to climb it. *Damn, I never realized how frickin' tall these things are. Fuck!* Faith always was slightly afraid of heights, but definitely was turned off by them after that last header she took. *Shit! Please don't let me slip!… I wouldn't survive this fall… that's for sure.*
Dedication: To everyone… just for reading it. Thanks. I hope you enjoy it.
Buffy glimpsed Faith out of the corner of her eye. The blonde ran over and grabbed the younger girl pulling her from the pole before she could climb any higher. "What do you think you're doing?!!"
"What does it look like I'm doing?! I'm going up there to get her."
"OVER MY DEAD BODY!" The scoobs flinched at those words. Buffy ignored it as she spun the brunette around to face her, "Faith, it's a robot!"
"I can do it, B. I'm not afraid… jus' like climbin' a tree, ya know?" Faith was terrified.
"Well, you should be afraid. Do you have any idea how high those things are?"
Faith tried to squirm out of Buffy's arms, "Don't know and I don't care."
"Well, you're going to. Those metal ones are…" The blonde looked up, "I'd say that's a good seventy feet. Faith, that's seven stories… if you fell… " Buffy tightened her grip.
"B, I can't leave her up there. This is all my fault." Faith started to cry. Buffy took a deep breath and slowly eased up, releasing Faith. "Listen to me, we can talk it… I mean her… down, okay? Stop crying." Buffy pushed a few strands of hair from Faith's face, waiting for the younger slayer to calm down.
The brunette nodded, wiping her eyes and turning back to call out to the Buffybot, "C'mon Bbot, it's okay… it's jus' like how ya got up there… only backwards."
"Okay Faith." The blonde bot said with tone of uncertainty. "Then we can go home?"
"Yes." Faith choked out the word, knowing it was a lie.
The little slayer bot struggled to turn around. She reached down unaware of the electrical current, and touched the wires. It arced and threw the bot to the ground. Faith and Willow both ran to the Buffybot, but she was toast, so to speak. The brunette lifted her gently, looking at Willow with tears in her eyes. "Red, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
Willow only nodded, unable to speak between her sobs.
Buffy stood apart from the scene watching the scoobs cry over the little bot. Suddenly it became too much for her to bear. The blonde screamed out in anger, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU?!! IT'S A THING!"
Faith looked at Buffy, and said through her tears, "B, how can we not love her?! She was the spitting image of you?... Like a little kid version, ya know?"
The blonde sighed, "Okay you guys, we've got to get out of here before one of these nosy neighbors calls 911. Faith," Buffy gestured at Buffybot, "can you carry that thi… the bot back to my house."
"Yeah, I've got her." Faith lifted the little slayerbot easily.
Once they were in the house, Buffy wanted to tell Faith to carry the bot down to the basement, but it seemed too cruel considering how hard the scoobs were taking it. The older slayer glanced at the group as they huddled around the couch where the bot was placed.
"I'll allow this for one night, and then no more crying over a robot. Do you guys understand me?! I'm serious… Never again!"
No one challenged Buffy, but Faith still confused, asked, "Why did you hate her so much?"
Dawn spoke up, "Willow said it had something to do with us using Buffybot as a replacement."
"A replacement?" Faith glanced around at them.
Dawn opened her mouth, and before Willow could stop her, innocently asked, "Didn't you know, Buffy was dead for about four months?"
The color drained from Faith's face; Buffy barely made over to the brunette in time to catch her as she fainted.
Buffy glanced down at the girl in her arms. *I can't believe she fainted! Faithy!*
Xander and Tara were trying to lift the Buffybot off of the couch to make room for Faith, but the little blonde stopped them.
"No, it's okay. I'll take her up to my room." Buffy bent and reached behind the younger slayer's knees easily picking Faith up into her arms. "Dawnie, will you run up and get the door for me."
"Yeah sure, Buffy." Dawn's tone was soft; she was a little scared and very overwhelmed by the suddenness of events and the intensity of all the adults in the room.
"Thank you, honey. And ask everyone to please not disturb us tonight, okay?"
Dawn nodded and bounded back down the stairs to deliver the message. Buffy closed the door softly and turned to look at the girl laying on her bed. *God…she looks so young.* Buffy sat down next to her, caressing her cheek, and whispering softly, "Faith sweetie… hey… c'mon… wake up." No response. Buffy leaned over the brunette and kissed her gently on the lips.
Faith stirred, opening her eyes slowly. She looked up at Buffy and started crying. Faith rolled away from the blonde and lay face down crying into the pillows.
"Hey no… babyyy. Awww!… No don't cry. C'mon." Buffy got on the bed to pull the younger girl into her arms.
Faith just buried her face in Buffy's chest and cried until she fell asleep.
Dedication: To everyone… just for reading it. Thanks. I hope you enjoy it. And a special thank you to Dan and Jason (This story needed repair, thank you for your input. lol)
Buffy stroked Faith's hair as she stared up at the ceiling. *Another amazing day in the life of Buffy Summers… Whip-de-doo…* She frowned, hating herself as she continued to review the evenings events. *Oh Faithy… You're just a little girl looking to be loved and I stick a knife in you every time… literally and figuratively. Faith… I don't want to hurt you anymore…I'm sorry… it just never quite works out for either of us, does it?… life of a slayer, I guess… what a load of crap… I can fix this!* Buffy squeezed Faith tighter.
Having made a decision, Buffy gently slid out from under the brunette. The dark slayer grumbled slightly at being disturbed but stopped as soon as Buffy held up Mr. Gordo. Faith reached out, snatching the little stuffed pig from her, and giving one last grumpy face before falling back asleep. Buffy sighed, then headed for the door. *Time to go fix things… to make Faith happy.*
She whispered as she exited the room, "I love you too, Faith and I'm about to show you just how much."
"Tara, can you stay with Dawn please."
"Yeah, of course." The blonde witch gave her girlfriend a confused look.
Willow shrugged her shoulders and waited 'til Buffy returned to the kitchen, "Buffy, what are you up to?"
"Good, this time. C'mon Willow grab your coat; we've got someone we need to go see."
Willow glanced at Buffy before knocking on the door.
"Yes?" A very annoyed looking girl answered.
"Is Warren here?"
PART 27 - You Look Just Like Me
"You guys are in luck. This damage isn't too bad… I mean she looks like hell, but the external is the easy part."
Buffy arched an eyebrow. *I should be offended by that, shouldn't I?*
"That's a relief." Willow hovered close, watching as he ran the diagnostics. "Can I help?"
Warren smiled, intrigued by the witch. *Hey, a wannabe computer nerd, … fine by me, you cute little red head!* "I just need to replace some boards… here and this one too. Man, she is a bit fried. What did you guys do to her? … Put her in a tub and throw in a hair dryer?!" He chuckled.
"Is she permanently damaged?" Willow asked concerned.
"No." He replied giving Willow a strange look. "She's a robot."
"Thank you! That's what I've been trying to tell everyone!" Buffy said crossing her arms over her chest.
Warren turned toward Buffy letting his eyes rake over the pretty little slayer. *Ooo Yeah!… You are hot!… And I know what you look like under those clothes too… yep, whoo-ee… you are somethin' babe… ayeyeye…* He leered.
"Hey, watch it!" The little slayer's eyes narrowed. *You creepy perve!*
"Huh?" Warren wiped at his mouth afraid that he'd actually drooled.
"Buf, please." Willow placed a hand on Buffy's shoulder to restrain her, "C'mon, you're doing this for Faith, remember?"
*The other slayer?!* Warren's eyebrows shot up. He quickly cleared his throat, trying to give off a casual appearance.
"In regards to the damage report, it looks like she's going to have some amnesia… possibly. See where the board is fried near the RAM?" He pointed it out to Willow while Buffy wandered around the room picking up things, trying to ward off the impending boredom. Warren glanced at the fidgety slayer, "Please don't touch anything. Those aren't toys." Buffy sighed, rolling her eyes as she sat back down.
"Oh yeah, I see it." Willow said sounding pleased. She wanted to eventually learn enough to be able to repair the little bot on her own. "Her Random Access circuitry? What are the implications of that?"
"Well, it's hard to tell. Memory issues are kinda touchy. You know, a real hit or miss. Robots don't do muddled. They either have the information clearly or they don't have at all. That's also related to storage and I don't see any damage there. So whether amnesia is a foregone conclusion…"
Buffy cut in, "Memory loss is good. Yea, to memory loss… And the ones that weren't zapped, can they be erased?" Buffy asked glancing at Willow who blushed and looked away.
Warren caught the awkward exchange. *Holy Smokes Batman, this robot sure gets a lot of action. Geez!… probably more than all of my friends combined.* He laughed at the thought. "Yeah, of course." Sensing the tension, he wisely held back his other remarks.
"Thanks Warren." Willow smiled sheepishly.
"Yeah, whatever. Let's get this over with." Warren left the room and returned carrying a box filled with IC boards, chips, tools and other computery-like things. He placed the box of what Buffy considered junk, near the little red headed witch.
Willow beamed with excitement.
The blonde laughed and rolled her eyes. "You've gone nerd on me again, haven't ya, Wil?"
"Aw, c'mon… how neat is this?!" The witch reached into the box gleefully.
They worked on the bot finishing the repairs just as the rooster crowed.
"Who the hell has a rooster… in Sunnydale?!" Buffy asked incredulous.
Warren responded, "In case you haven't noticed Sunnydale is one wacked out place."
Willow laughed, "Look who you're telling!"
"Uh… yeah. Right." He stood the Buffybot up and reached behind her head, sliding his fingers down and switching her on.
"Hey there, how are you feeling?" Warren asked as the little bot's eyelashes fluttered open.
"Hi Warren. I am fine. How are you?" Buffybot asked cheerfully.
"Oh my god, Warren, you're a genius." Willow threw her arms around him, hugging him tight.
"Yep, that's what my IQ scores say." Warren glanced over at Buffy who shrugged.
The bot smiled brightly when she saw Willow, "Look it is Willow."
Willow let go of Warren and turned to embrace the little bot. Buffybot giggled, "Willow is nice. I like Willow."
Buffybot glanced over at Buffy and became very excited. "Say, look at you. You look just like me! We're very pretty."
"Yeah, thanks skirt girl. Now give me a minute with the adults, okay?" Buffy said dismissing the bot and turning back to Willow. "Wil, we really should be going now. I want to be there when Faith wakes up."
Buffybot looked up from her skirt and asked, "Who is Faith? I do not have that file."
PART 28 - Dawn Gets A "Younger" Sister
Ready for some before school cartoonage, Dawn bounded down the stairs running into Buffybot on the way. "Hey watch out, spacey."
"Dawn! Hello Dawn." Buffybot smiled brightly at the teenager. "You are my sister. You like pancakes."
"Cut it out Buffy, that's not even funny!" Dawn's face fell, her eyes glistened with tears, at what she thought was Buffy playing a cruel joke.
The little bot tilted her head, perplexed.
At the same moment the front door opened, and Willow walked in with Buffy close behind.
"Look!" The blonde bot shrieked with excitement. "It's the other Buffy!"
A smile spread across Dawn's face as she looked from one to the other. She first hugged the happy little bot and then ran the rest of the way down the stairs jumping into Buffy's arms.
"Easy there, tiger," Buffy said laughing and stumbling backwards as she caught Dawn.
"Have I told you how much you're like the best sister ever?!" Dawn cried clutching Buffy tightly.
"You remember that, the next time I tell you that you have to stay home and study." Buffy teased, leaning back to give Dawn a kiss on the nose. "Now why don't you take your new 'little' sister into the kitchen. She'll make you pancakes."
"No, Willow can make the pancakes. Buffybot and I are going to watch Ren & Stimpy; it's on Nickelodeon right now." Dawn grinned and turned toward the bot, "C'mon lil' sis, cartoons are on."
Buffy finished buttoning her yummy sushi pajamas and then slipped into bed next to the sleeping brunette. Having undressed the other slayer first, she now lay with the nude Faith. The blonde lifted the covers to take a peek. *Wow!… I did I say wow?!… 'Cause she's definitely a wow type of girl… Look at that body…* Buffy leered, realizing she wanted to do unspeakably naughty things with Faith.
The younger slayer smiled; she was having that dream again. The dream that her and Buffy had worked things out; that everyone was happy, and that the slaying had become easier. Faith rolled over whispering in her sleep, "Oh Buffy… mmmm…"
"Huh?" The blonde dropped the blanket back down and looked up at Faith who was still sound asleep. *She moans my name in her sleep… How hot is that!* Buffy leaned over to kiss her lightly on the lips. "Faith, I 'm here… little Faithy… wakey - wake… c'mon… Buffy wants to play… hmmm?…" The blonde smirked as she began removing her yummy sushi pajamas. *Geez! Never shoulda put these on.*
The brunette rolled on her side, curling up tighter with Mr. Gordo. "No-no-no, I don't think so Mr. Gordo. That's my girl!" Buffy chuckled as she ripped Mr. Gordo from Faith's arms and tossed him cruelly to the floor.
Faith awoke with a cry. "Huh?" She whimpered in confusion.
"Shhh-sh-sh… it's okay baby… you don't need Mr. Gordo anymore… you've got me." Buffy laughed wiggling her eyebrows at the disoriented girl.
"Still dreaming…" Faith mumbled, trying to roll the other way on the bed.
"Oh no you don't." Buffy grabbed hold of Faith, then climbed on top of her to pin the younger girl on her back.
Faith now fully awake, looked up into the pair of inviting green eyes. Buffy smiled warmly before asking with a mischievous grin, "Ya ready for breakfast?"
"Oh B, I love you." The younger slayer closed her eyes and concentrated on the sensations. Everywhere their bare skin touched was heating up and causing that very familiar tingle between her legs.
"How 'bout some Sugar Smacks?" Buffy asked in a sultry tone.
Faith's eyes shot open. "Uh… aye… uh… aye… ye… yeah… yes…" The brunette stuttered as Buffy moved, kneeling to straddle Faith's face. "Hang on, B" Faith reached down and pinched herself hard on the arm. "Ouch! Shit that hurt. Yep, I'm awake."
Buffy could only smile. *This is the cuteness that is Faith, and I love her.* "Come and get it."
Faith needed no other encouragement as she reached up and licked Buffy long and slow, savoring the taste.
"Oh fuck!" Buffy began to tremble. She leaned forward, placing the palms of her hands against the wall to hold herself up. "Omigod… Faithhhhhh! Oh god… oh yes… fuckkkkk… Faith… I am sooooo gonna come… jezuz christ… your mouth… oh yes… oh yes… lick me… mmmmm… lick me, baby… oh I like that… yeah, right there… oh fuckkk…" Buffy sucked in a breath between her teeth and threw her head back, moaning.
*Holy fuck, B!* Buffy's dirty talk was becoming almost too much for Faith. The brunette reached down to touch herself. Rubbing between her legs, her fingers sliding against her own wet pussy.
Buffy clung to the wall as the orgasm hit her. Her legs began to tremble violently, and her moist palms started to slip from the wall. "Please… please." Buffy gasped out the words, afraid she was going fall.
Faith grabbed hold of the blonde and pulled her gently down, allowing Buffy to lay on her back. The brunette gave her a loving smile, and then crawled down, back between Buffy's legs to finish her breakfast cereal.
PART 29 - I've Got A Surprise For You
Faith slipped two fingers inside of Buffy, smiling as the blonde arched up against her hand. "Oh yeah Faith, that's it… Fuck me… please, fuck me…. Ooooo… that feels sooooo… mmmm… come on baby… harder… I want you to fuck me hard…" Buffy beckoned, reaching above her head and grasping the head board.
"Oh my god, B. You're driving me crazy!" The brunette growled, slipping a third finger into Buffy. The little slayer's grip on the head board gave her enough leverage to push herself down on Faith's fingers with each thrust. Faith could feel the little spasms starting. *She's about to come. Oh yes, Buffy… hot damn! I love you.*
"Oh yeah! Oh yes! THERE IT IS! FUCK YES! THAT'S IT! AHHHHH!" Buffy screamed out as she came again.
Faith lifted herself quickly trying to cover Buffy's mouth with her other hand. *Jezuz christ, B! Damn, I hope Dawn has left for school.* The brunette didn't realize how much time had passed; Dawn had left hours ago.
Faith was just about to remove her hand from the blonde slayer's mouth when Buffybot burst into the room, calling out to her twin. "Are you alright?! Is she hurting you?!"
Willow came in close on the bot's heels, knowing full well what was occurring. "Oh shit!" The red head turned her face away when caught site of the two very naked, very sweaty, and completely out of breath slayers. She reached out blindly as she tried to pull the tiny slayer bot from the room.
Faith immediately looked from Buffybot to Buffy and back again. Once more, it became far too much for Faith to process, she fainted straight-away falling on the unprepared Buffy.
"Umph!" The air was knocked from the blonde as Faith landed heavily on top of her. The instant Buffy could draw a breath she shouted, "WIL! GET HER OUT OF HERE, NOW!!!"
Faith found herself peering up at a very concerned little blonde, but before she could even ask Buffy spoke up, "Hey, it's okay. It's me, sweetie."
Faith breathed a sigh of relief. Then tried speak. "Wha… uh… I… ugh!"
"Shhh! Give yourself a second… fainty-girl." Buffy teased gently. The blonde's smile faded as she became serious. "Faith, I want to tell something."
The brunette nodded becoming nervous at Buffy's serious tone.
"I want to tell you that I love you. And I want to be with you. Heck, I'll do anything to be with you… to make you happy… And as I've just proven," Buffy laughed, "I'll do anything I can to keep sadness out of your life. You and I have had our share, don't you think?… So I had Buffybot repaired. After all, Dawn could use a little sister, and well… we sure could use a hand with the slaying. Whaddya think?" Buffy imitated Faith's trademark question, accent and all.
Faith was speechless, her honey colored eyes filled with tears. The brunette slayer had never experienced such an overwhelming sense of pure happiness. She didn't even know it was possible. *My dream… this is my dream.* Dazed, Faith reached up and pinched Buffy.
"Ouch! Hey!"
*It's real. Buffy's real. Thank you.* Faith was crying in earnest at this point.
"Faith?… Faith?! Oh my god, Faith say something. Please. Baby?!" Buffy kissed away Faith's tears, rocking her gently.
"B… B, it's jus'…" Faith struggled, trying to find the words to explain her intense emotions, "I dreamt this… all of this. You and me together… being happy… and even easier slaying." She chuckled.
Buffy's eyes began to water. "Oh Faith! That was a slayer dream. I had it also." A realization struck the blonde, "It's what brought me back… made me real again."
"Huh?!"
Buffy laughed. *That's my Faithy… such a way with words.* "Nothing, darling. Let me hold you for a minute and then we'll go downstairs so you can say hi to that… that… that descendant of a toaster oven." She laughed again. "I'm just teasing. I suppose she's not sooo bad… I mean… She does kind of grow on you… like a chia pet." Buffy shrugged slightly, still unready to make the admission that Buffybot was… is downright adorable.
Buffy anticipated Faith's next question. "No, she doesn't remember… any of it." The blonde smiled at Faith's obvious relief, then poked her gently, "But there are some ground rules here, missy. One of them is NO SEX with the Buffybot. Got it?!"
Faith burst into laughter. "Oh my god B. Stop. Let me catch my breath." The brunette took a couple of deep breaths. "Okay… better. Now listen, you dimwit. It's you I want. It's you that I've always wanted… and only you. I love you, Buffy Summers. And I mean I'm absolutely...totally... completely... frickin' in love with you! Ya got it?!!!"
Buffy gazed back down at her with a silly grin, "Got it. … Ready to meet Buffybot?"
Faith kissed her. "Okay. Now I am."
When Buffy and Faith finally made their way downstairs, it was to find Willow and Buffybot in the kitchen. The little bot was cooking, preparing some elaborate dinner from the looks of it, and Willow was sitting at the table doing homework on her laptop.
"Wil, isn't it easier to sit in the other room to do that?" Buffy frowned slightly.
"Yeah, but I don't mind. I was keeping Buffybot company." Willow looked up, blushing when Faith grinned at her.
Buffy glanced over at the Buffybot, "What's she doing?"
The blonde bot spoke up, "I am making a big birthday dinner, and everyone is invited." She smiled brightly at both of them, then extended her hand to Faith, "Hello. You must be Faith. Willow has told me about you. You like to slay too. Tonight we will go slaying. Vampires beware!"
Faith's eyes filled with tears and she shook Buffybot's hand and nodded. "Yep, I'm Faith and you're Bbot."
Buffybot giggled, "Bbot. That is funny. I like that name."
"Yeah, that's what ya said last…" Faith stopped herself as the bot cocked her head and Buffy's eyes narrowed. The brunette cleared her throat and quickly asked Willow. "So… um… Who's birthday is it?"
"Mine." The Buffybot said happily, "Willow told me that today is my birthday and that we must have a party." The bot became very excited. "We will have cake too. Dawn likes cake."
Buffy smiled at the last part, "Yes, she does. Now, no spoiling Dawn. You got me, Bbot?"
Buffybot repeated, "Spoiling Dawn?" She tilted her head and smiled, "I don't understand that question. But thank you for asking. You're my friend." The bot added, "Dawn is our sister. We love Dawn."
"Hurry up B." Faith's arms were filled with packages as she bent to give Buffy a kiss. The blonde lifted her attention from her task, and eagerly returned the kiss.
"Just a minute." Buffy put down the scissors and ribbon, and picked up the Birthday card. "Here sign this."
"My hands are kinda full; just sign my name for me. I'm taking this stuff downstairs."
"So how old are you?" Anya asked Buffybot as she served the cake. The slayer bot smiled as she said Buffy's age.
"I want a big piece, Buffybot." Dawn jumped up and held out her plate.
"Me too." Faith chimed in.
Buffy looked over at Tara and Willow rolling her eyes they laughed. Buffybot set down a plate in front of the oldest slayer and asked, "Would you like a refreshment?"
"Uh… yeah, thanks." Buffy smiled up at the robot. *She is very polite.*
"Hurry, Bbot. Time to open your gifts." Dawn squealed running out of the room with Faith close behind.
"It was Colonel Mustard, in the library, with the candlestick." Buffybot announced proudly.
"Hey no fair! This is the third time she won." Dawn complained causing everyone to laugh.
"Maybe, she's a card counter." Xander pointed accusingly at the bot, who smiled greatly pleased with herself.
"Nahhh." Faith poked Dawn teasingly. "Don't ya know peanut, it's always Colonel Mustard gankin' someone in the library." She laughed as Willow rushed over to help her tickle Dawn.
"Hey Buffy, save me." Dawn held up her hand giggling.
"Don't count on it." Buffy joined in, moving the game board out of the way to help tickle Dawn.
Dawn made one last attempt for assistance, "Bbot, help me."
"I think it is funny," Buffybot smiled brightly as she put the game back in the box, "and after we will go slaying. Isn't it a beautiful night for killing evil things?"
They stopped tickling Dawn and laughed. "Okay, Bbot go get your stake. It's your birthday, so we can go do what you want." Buffy said giving Willow a wink as she spoke.
Buffybot clapped her hands and ran to get a stake. Everyone else grabbed their jackets preparing for their cemetery excursion.
"Isn't this a nice family outing?!" Xander chuckled.
"Well, it sure ain't Leave It To Beaver, but it'll do." Faith smirked leaning over to give her girlfriend a big kiss and whisper in her ear. "I love you, Buffy."
Buffy mouthed the words back to her as Buffybot returned, coming around the corner to ask, "What is Leave It To Beaver?"
They all laughed as they piled out of the house, Dawn and Faith bounding out ahead of everyone.
