Buffy smiled down at her and reached out to run her finger along the younger slayer's cheek. "Faith?"
"Yep?"
"You love me?"
*I'm dreaming. I must be dreaming.* "Yeah Buffy, I love you." Faith responded with glassy eyes.
Buffy smirked as she tapped Faith on nose. "So you want to be my girl… Mine and only mine…"
The brunette gave an affirmative nod.
"You know what that means, don't you?… No screwing around on me… and I mean it Faith! Do you understand?!… Hmmm?" Buffy gently pushed a strand of hair out of the younger girl's face.
Faith looked up at her in confusion, "B, I wouldn't… no, never… I love you. I jus' want…um… uh.. I want to be with you… ya know?… jus' you."
"Good." *Right answer, Faith!* Buffy kissed her long and slow. "That's what I want too... I want you to be with me… keep me company and make me happy. And in return I'll take care of you… just don't ever cheat on me… don't even think about it… do you hear me, Faith?! Because I don't take betrayal lightly!"
Faith recoiled from her touch as if she'd been struck, "Buffy?"
The little slayer's eyes narrowed, "Answer me! Do you understand?… if you cheat on me…"
Faith tried to squirm away, but Buffy had her pinned. "Where are you going, Faithy?.. Hmmm?… I thought that you loved me… did you change your mind already?"
Faith could feel tears stinging her eyes, "I do. I do love you, B. But you're freaking me out... Why are you acting like this?"
"Like what?" Buffy held Faith's stare.
Faith choked out the words, "Shizo… All nice and then mean… Don't you like me? I thought… I thought maybe you liked me too." The brunette ached to be loved. *I'm so stupid. It was just sex. Damn, I'm such a chump.*
Buffy thought about it for a moment. *I do like you. I don't know about being actually… GAY. But the sex could be amazing. Maybe I could love you. I don't know… hmm… Besides that's not really important to me right now… just got out of a hellish relationship… literally!*
The blonde slayer grinned down at Faith, not realizing how much she was hurting the younger girl. "I do like you. I like you a lot. That's why you're here, you little nutty buddy, because I want you… Faith? Are you listening to me?"
"Yeah, fine. It's fine. Can we go to sleep now? 'Cause I'm like totally beat, ya know?" The brunette looked away refusing to meet those green eyes studying her. "Those were some tough vamps… so if you don't mind…"
Buffy blinked in surprise, "Are you sure? Xander and Willow won't be up here for awhile." The little blonde wiggled her eyebrows and added, "We were just getting warmed up… I can go for days… and I've been soooo deprived. What with the boyfriend going evil and all." Buffy snickered and then became more serious. "Faith, you're my only other."
Buffy kissed Faith tenderly, running her hand over the younger slayer's chest. "My little tough girl…" She licked her neck. ".… too much attitude… a lot of leather…" The little blonde nibbled Faith's earlobe, whispering. "Ready to play… hmmm?… I want to do naughty things with my naughty girl." Buffy growled and grabbed the tank top, tearing it right off Faith's body. "Bad, bad girl… Are you sure that you don't want to find a little fun with me… right now?"
The younger slayer could feel her body burning up with need. *What I am crazy?!!! Turning down sex with Buffy Summers… I must be real moron to even consider something so… SO IDIOTIC… gotta have it.* "Uh… okay, B… yeah, okay. I can. Yes let's… please. I'll be yours. Oh fuck, just don't stop!"
*I'll do whatever you want and then… maybe… jus' maybe you'll love me… Yeah, that's it. Oh yesssss…. mmmm…. Buffyyyyyy… ahhhhhh. I can't believe your sucking my nipple… owww… and biting.* "Oh B! Dammit… Oh yesss!"
Buffy had yanked off Faith's boxer shorts. "Your turn Faith." The little slayer leered at her, before bending down to kiss in between Faith thighs. Any of the brunette's previous fears were forgotten as she melted into the older slayer's mouth.

"Quick, get something on." Buffy whispered, jumping up to make her way to the door. There was another knock. "Just a second," Buffy called out.
"B, you tore my top." Faith spoke in a hushed voice as she held up the tank top, or rather pieces of a tank top. *Damn, it's not like I have that much.*
"Geez, here!" Buffy strode over to her dresser and pulled out a t-shirt, tossing it to Faith. "Hurry up!"
The brunette tugged the shirt on quickly, "Okay."
Buffy unlocked the door, opening it with a smile, "Sorry you guys, we fell asleep... I guess Faith accidently locked the door. She's such a silly goof; aren't you, Faith?"
"Uh… yeah, sorry." Faith looked away embarrassed that she had to appear to be the stupid one.
Willow glanced at Buffy's little smirk. *Buffy! You bitch!*
"Xander, the sleeping bag is in the closet. Grab it and take your usual spot." Buffy motioned to the corner of the room.
Xander looked slightly dejected as he spread the sleeping bag out on the floor.
"Hey Red." Faith smiled as Willow got into the bed next to her. Buffy's eyes narrowed.
The little slayer flipped off the light and climbed into the bed squeezing in between Faith and Willow. "Move over." She pushed on Faith.
They had just finished breakfast. Xander had settled in front of the TV, surfing the channels in search of some morning cartoonage. Willow and Buffy headed back up to the room.
"Hey Wil, so what happened with Oz on Friday night? Time to tell." Buffy teased as they entered the bedroom.
"Shouldn't we be quieter?" Willow motioned to Faith who still slept soundly.
"Nahhh… it's okay. Practically nothing wakes her." To prove it Buffy ran to the bed and jumped on it.
Both her and Willow laughed at Faith's very incoherent but mild grumbles. "See?!" Buffy announced proudly.
*Awww… how cute. Faith is sooo cute when she's sleeping.* It was on the tip of Willow's tongue to say it, but she changed her mind as she watched Buffy. *They look so cute together… I better not say that yet either. Buffy's still off in denial land."
The little slayer wriggled around and got situated before pulling the sleeping girl onto her lap. She patted the bed beside her. "C'mon Wil, girl talk." Buffy said, absently playing with Faith's hair. The blond gazed down at her fellow slayer as the girl shifted in her lap. *Faith is sooo cute. My Faithy… oh baby… I just want to kiss you.*
Willow sat on the bed, settling next to Buffy. They chatted and giggled for close to an hour.
Buffy was continually running her hands through the dark tresses and had begun to braid them. "Hey…" The blonde made a face, "What's this? Wil, feel this." Buffy was feeling a spot on the back of Faith's head. The younger slayer whimpered.
"Careful Buffy." Willow chided as she reached to run her fingertips lightly over the area. "It feels like swelling. She must have hit her head last night."
"What?!! And you didn't tell me! Oh my god, we let her go to sleep, Wil!" Buffy began to roughly shake Faith. "Wake up! Faith, wake up right now! Do you hear me?!"
Willow tried to stop the blonde, but Buffy had it in her head that Faith was somehow injured and unconscious, instead of just asleep.
"WAKE UP!!" Buffy shouted.
"What… wait… no… no.. Dad, I didn't do it!" Faith screamed. "Please don't…" The younger slayer had begun to sob in confusion. "I didn't mean to… I'm sorry, dad… no… No please!… Help!" Faith shrieked.
"Buffy, cut it out! You're scaring her! She's obviously not comatose. Stop it!" Willow had grabbed Buffy's arm to keep her from shaking the girl anymore.
But it was too late, Faith was crying with her eyes still closed, tears rolled down her cheeks. Disoriented, she took a swing at Buffy just missing her.
"What's going on in here?!" Joyce entered the room with Xander at her heels.
"Buff, is everything okay?" He looked from Willow to Buffy and then to Faith who appeared to still be sleeping but was crying uncontrollably. "Geez! What did you guys do to her?!"
The little blond shot her mother a helpless look. Joyce went over to the bed and tried to take Faith from Buffy's arms. "No mom. I got her. Besides, I don't think she's all the way awake; she just took a swing at me."
"Buffy, give her to me." Her mother ordered.
Buffy reluctantly released the younger slayer. Mrs. Summers pulled the girl in her arms and rocked her. "Shhhh Faith. Sweetie, it's okay. Shhhh." The brunette calmed, slowly falling back asleep. Joyce laid the young girl back on the bed and motioned for everyone to follow her out of the room.
Once they were all downstairs, Mrs. Summers turned toward her daughter, "What was that about?!"
Buffy glanced over at Willow who moved away from her. Xander caught the exchange and gave Willow a questioning look; she mouthed the words 'tell you later'.
"I don't know, mom. She just kind of freaked." Willow shook her head so Buffy started explaining again. "I mean, I was trying to wake her up because well… I found this lump and bruise on the back of her head and I thought she was… well I thought she might have a concussion… I don't know, mom. I guess I startled her."
"You guess!" Willow was incredulous. "Buffy, I would've freaked too… the way you were shaking her and yelling. Ugh! Gee whiz Buffy, what's gotten into you anyway?!… first that wackiness known as last night and now this.." Willow stopped short when she glimpsed Joyce folding her arms.
"Buffy Anne Summers! I told you to handle that girl with care. What were you thinking?! Faith's very sensitive."
Buffy snorted at the last part, looking at her friends support, but neither of them laughed.
Xander cleared his throat, "Buff, your mom's right. Faith's kinda sensitive or delicate or somethin',… but definitely breakable." Willow nodded in agreement.
Buffy shrugged, "Fine. I was wrong. I'm sorry. Can we get past this?"
"Not with that attitude." Joyce's eyes narrowed. "I know that being an only child has made you somewhat spoiled…" Willow and Xander choked back their laughter earning a glare from the little slayer. "However I expect you to be considerate. Do understand me, young lady?!"
"Yes mom."
"Good. Now help me clear the dishes."
The teenagers moved toward the table to help clear it. Xander asked, "So what are we supposed to say to Faith when she comes down here?"
"Nothing. I don't think she'll remember; she wasn't even really awake." Mrs. Summers spoke quietly, still puzzling over the young girl's behaviour.
"Are you sure mom? She was pretty wigged." Buffy put the dishes near the sink.
"No Buffy, I think your mom's right. I don't think she'll remember, either that or she'll think that she was having a dream." Willow said, handing some more dishes for Xander to put in the dishwasher.
"Nightmare is more like it." Buffy tilted her head and joked, "Note to self… wake up Faith very, very carefully."
"Buffy, it's not funny. And I don't want any of you kids giving Faith a hard time about it. Do you hear me?" Mrs. Summers said in a stern tone.
They all chimed in with a "yes, ma'am".
Joyce steered the conversation to other things, making a mental note to talk to Mr. Giles about this.
"Hey, did I miss breakfast?" Faith asked in a dissappointed tone. She stood in the doorway rubbing her eyes and yawning.
Joyce smiled at the slightly disheveled girl, "No, have a seat, sweetie, and I'll make you something. What do you want?"
"Bacon! Do you have bacon?" The younger slayer became excited, "And pancakes! Can I have pancakes too?"
Joyce chuckled, "Of course you can." She walked over to the brunette and ruffled her hair, giving her a kiss on the forehead.
Faith beamed, "You're the best, Mrs. S. Thanks." She looked over at Buffy and blushed. "Good morning." *Damn, I love you, Buffy… soooo much.* Faith sighed as she turned away to greet Xander and Willow with a smile. "Hey."
"How'd you sleep?" Xander asked with curiousity, but Willow elbowed him and both the Summers' women gave him a warning look. "What?! It's a question!"
Faith was too busy undoing the braids in her hair and missed all the veiled glances. *Shit, I don't remember braiding my hair.* She spoke to Xander without looking up, "Slept fine Xan-Man. Hey, weren't you suppose to wake me up for cartoons. Did I miss the Anamaniacs?"
"No, they're on in like ten minutes. You still wanna watch them with me?"
"Yeah!… oh… um.. no, I gotta eat." Faith looked up at Mrs. Summers.
"Go on Faith. You can eat in front of the television."
An enormous grin spread across her face as she ran to the TV room with Xander.
PART 13 - If Anything Happened To You
"Hey there." Buffy smiled gently at the younger slayer as she came into the bedroom. Xander and Willow had just left, and they were getting ready for their day. "You can go use the shower now."
Faith laid on the bed reading a comic book that Xander had given her. She gave Buffy a happy smile. "Red and Xander are going to go slaying with me again, next Saturday while you're at your dad's house."
"Hmmm… really?" Buffy walked over and kissed Faith on top of her head, then tilted the younger girl's chin up. "Faith, I don't want you to go out slaying without me anymore. Do you understand?"
"What?!!! What the hell are you talking about! I can go out slaying without you, anytime I want. And I'm going to! Too damn bad, B! 'Cause you can't stop me!" Faith got up off of the bed and turned her back toward Buffy. *That's it! She ain't gonna take that away from me! I'm as good of a slayer as she is!*
"Faith come here… please." The older slayer used a soft tone. Faith frowned anyway as she sat back down next to Buffy. "There, that's better." The blond leaned forward and kissed Faith, running her hands lightly down and placing them around the younger girl's waist. Buffy then pulled the brunette against her and held her tight as she whispered, "Faith, do you know why I don't want you to go out slaying without me? Hmmm?"
"Yeah, 'cause you don't think I can!" The brunette sniped, still hurt by Buffy's order.
The little slayer nuzzled Faith's neck, placing light kisses along it as she spoke. "No. No Faith, that's not it at all. It's because if anything happened to you… anything at all… it would… it would be…" Buffy had stopped speaking. Faith pulled back to look at her.
The little slayer had tears running down her cheeks. She sobbed out the words, "It would be unbearable. Do you understand now?! I just can't even bear the thought… That's why. That's why, Faith. That's the reason."
"Huh?!" Faith smiled despite herself. "Uh… really? You mean it?!"
"Yes, I mean it." Buffy grabbed her and kissed her hard. "I can't lose you. I won't lose you."
"Nahhh!" Faith laughed, "Nothin' can happen to me, B. I'm like invincible and shit, ya know?!" *Wow! B likes me. She does!… Oh man, it doesn't get much better than this.*
Buffy laughed through her tears and squeezed Faith tight.
"Hey careful! I'm delicate… like a flower," Faith snorted. "That's what Red said, anyhow."
"Yes, you are. You're very delicate. I'll be careful from now on. I promise, Faithy. You mean so much to me. I won't let anything hurt you." Buffy gave Faith a long, passionate kiss that left them both breathless.
"Whoa! What happened at breakfast?! B, did your mom put somethin' in your pancakes?… some kinda drug?!… 'Cause I want a some!" Faith chuckled hugging the little slayer again.
"Something like that. C'mon kitten, I'm going to take you shopping."
"Kitten?! Ugh!"
Faith leaned over to tie the new sneakers that Buffy had bought her, "Okay B, so where am I supposed to meet you after training?"
"Over at Willow's house, we'll be there studying for mid-terms." Buffy spoke making a sour face before smiling, as she watched the brunette grabbing up the gym bag with excitement. *She loves to go train… she so much energy.* The blonde's thoughts turned to naughty things.
"Faith? Honey, Giles is here." Mrs. Summers called up to the girls.
"Gotta go, B. See ya later." Faith ran over to Buffy, hoping for a kiss goodbye and wasn't dissappointed. *Mmmm… Wow! A Buffy kiss… ahhh.*
Green eyes followed the brunette as she rushed out of the bedroom. Buffy could hear Faith hopping down the stairs two at a time. The little slayer laid down on the bed and grabbed Faith's pillow hugging it close and sighing. *Oh Faith… four whole hours until I see you again. Ugh!*
"What time is it?" Buffy asked as she doodled in her French book. She was drawing little hearts and adding hers and Faith's name in each one.
"Ten minutes since you asked me last. Buffy focus, please. We have our French Mid-term on Wednesday. Try again." Willow gave Buffy an expectant look.
"Okay. La vache... doit me... touche... de la... jeudi. Was it wrong? Should I use the plural?"
"No. But you said, 'The cow should touch me from Thursday.'" The red haired witch shook her head, "You haven't studied at all, have you?"
"What?!… Maybe that's what I was feeling." Buffy made a pouty face.
"And you said it wrong!" Willow frowned, "Buffy, come on. You've just got to try."
"Oh, je stink." The blonde sighed, taking the soda pop can Xander held out. "Mmmm… sugary, coca-cola goodness. Thanks Xander."
"Hey, when is Faith supposed to be here?" He asked, plopping down in the bean bag chair.
"Anytime now." Buffy glowed. "We had so much fun shopping today; you guys should have come with us. Faith told this snotty sales girl off; it was classic…and then we…"
Willow interrupted, "Buffy. Study. Remember? That's what we're here for."
"Sorry Wil."
There was a soft knock at the bedroom door. "Come in Mom." The red head called out.
"Uh… No. Jus' me, Red. Your dad let me in." Faith shifted from one foot to the other.
"Faith!" The little blonde jumped up and hugged her. Willow and Xander exchanged a knowing look which Buffy glimpsed. "What?!! Can't someone be glad to see a friend?! Geez!"
"Sure." Xander saw an opportunity and made his way quickly over to Faith, giving her a bear hug. "Faith darling, so good to see you," He mocked causing Willow and Faith to burst into laughter, but Buffy was unamused.
Xander stepped back just in time to see the daggers shooting from Buffy's eyes. "What? There was no grope. No groping, right Faith?!" He shrugged and turned back toward Faith for support.
"I don't know Xander. I could've sworn, I felt hands on my butt…" Faith chuckled.
"I told you not to touch her!" Buffy growled and suddenly grabbed Xander by the collar lifting him off of his feet. Faith and Willow rushed to Xander's aid pulling at the older slayer's arm.
"Buffy, put him down!" Willow shrieked.
"B, I was joking. Jezuz christ! Whatcha doin'?!!" Faith was furious as she tugged the terrified Xander from Buffy's grasp. "You've lost it!"
Buffy's eyes passed over the shocked trio; she stormed out.
Willow and Xander looked at Faith who was flushed with anger, but now blushed even deeper with embarrassment. "I better go after her." The brunette relished the escape. *Shit B! Leave me to explain. Not like I even can. Geez, jealous of Xander… you HAVE totally lost it!*
Faith got out onto the street. *No sign of B. Damn, she's fast!*
Buffy was almost home when she realized she forgot something, her girlfriend.
"Hey Wil… Hey Xander." The little slayer glanced around the room, "I just came back for Faith… and… um… to apologize. I'm sorry. I don't know what's been wrong with me… when it comes to Faith, it's like I don't have any control, but I'm going to work on it… You know, the first step is recognizing the problem." She gave a weak laugh.
"Yeah, we noticed, and about those control issues. Buffy, if you don't cut it out… you'll just drive Faith away." Willow was still angry, but as always, eager to help. *This isn't totally Buffy's fault. It's not like she's had good luck in the love department… or is even aware of what a normal relationship should be like… but she can be rehabilitated, I'm sure of it… this is Buffy.. albeit insanely jealous and possessive… but still pure fluffy Buffy goodness underneath.*
Xander was on his feet instantly ready to forgive. "No, it's okay Buffster. I shouldn't have hugged her. I didn't mean to wig you out. Faith and I are just friends though. After all, I think you're the one that she has it bad for, you know what I mean?"
Buffy smiled at the thought. "Yeah, she does." She made a dreamy face, "She told me that she loves me."
"Well there you go. So what's your problem, Buffy?" Willow pressed.
"I don't know. I just keep waiting for her to go evil on me."
"I don't get it. Evil as in… the cheat on you variety of evil or evil as in… the murder you and all of your friends kind of evil.. Because in my book, Buffy, there's a big difference." Xander waved his finger in a little circle, and glanced back at Willow for validation.
"Evil as in, betray me… the worst kind of evil in MY book." Buffy turned from Xander and gave Willow a plantiff look. "Oh Wil, I just can't go through that again… being so heartbroken that I'd rather be dead. I'm afraid… if I love her somehow she'll betray me and I'll end up right back were I was… lost. But maybe that's part of my destiny, right?" Buffy's eyes filled with tears. "Anyone I love is doomed."
"That's not true. Look, Angel came back, and he's even evil-free." Xander wanted to comfort Buffy, but only made her sob harder. Willow shook her head at him as she gathered Buffy into her arms.
"Buffy, Faith loves you. Do you love her?" Willow asked carefully.
Buffy stopped crying and thought about it. "Yeah. I think I do, Wil. Now what?" She wiped at her eyes and sniffled.
"Well, you can start by telling her that and then you can finish by treating her that way. Words are cheap Buffy. She has to know that you love her… by your actions also. Respect her enough to trust her. Is this making any sense to you? Hmmm?" Willow brushed a few errant strands of hair from Buffy's face.
"Yeah, perfect sense. What would I do without my Willow?" The blonde smiled up at her.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling it would get pretty messy… not to mention those things you call grades." Willow gently teased the girl, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Now you'd better go find Faith."
Buffy's expression changed to one of puzzlement, "Isn't she in the bathroom?" The slayer's eyes traveled to the doorway as if Faith was going to magically appear.
"No, you silly; she left after you. Remember… the whole 'in love' thing. Really! As if she'd let you storm out without chasing after you. I told you the girl has it bad, and I mean bad. Every time your name is mentioned, she lights up and geez, when you enter the room she actually swoons…" Willow laughed.
"I'm gonna have to agree with Wil on this one. Faith is goofy in love, and I should know because I'm goofy and I've been in love."
"Your logic doesn't match our earth logic, does it Xander?" Buffy snickered, standing quickly and then speaking with great determination, "C'mon you guys. Let's go find my girlfriend."

Acknowledgement: The joke in part 14 of 'Sleepovers' regarding
Buffy's challengedness with French is directly taken from episode
15, 'School Hard'. I apologize for not giving due credit sooner. I
actually didn't think about, because I didn't even expect it to
escape anyone's notice. It's so pure Joss. But then I received a few
feedbacks incorrectly giving me credit for a clever funny. That one
is not mine (that's a definite Joss joke), and I wasn't trying to
steal it. I just thought it was cute enough to use again. Those who
have read my fics know I've never been quite so lazy to swipe a joke
verbatim before and I promise if I do so in the future (unlikely) …
that an appropriate notation will be made at the time. Dan, you're
right minus two for FC - one on continuity (wrong season), and two on
creativity (ya caught me being lazy - lol). And sorry Amy D. I don't
know French, but I did take two years of it in High School (lol).
Faith cut through the cemetery, hoping to beat Buffy back to the house by taking a short cut. The brunette felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. She turned quick enough to see the three vampires coming toward her. *Shit! I don't have a stake. I ran off without a frickin' stake! Ugh! Stupid!!… Oh well, I'll manage.*
"You're in luck boys, tonight is decapitation night… it's messy, but still gets the job done!" Faith smirked at their hesitation, before vaulting toward them.
Snap! Crackle! Pop! Dust! She spun around grinning, "Who's next?" Faith's grin soon faded as she glimpsed three more vampires approaching. *Fuck! Is this a cemetery or a friggin' nursery?!* She peered around them and noticed two more lurching forward. *My kingdom for a stake… or some shit like that.. uh-oh!* Faith ducked avoiding one vamp, then sprung up and tore his head off. *See B, I can take care of myself.* Another two popped up, and headed for her.
Faith did a flip and came around the back of an especially dim-witted vamp and twisted his head off just as the rest of the vampires closed in around her. *Buffy!… Shit!… I love you, B. Sorry.*
Xander, Willow, and Buffy were walking past the cemetery when the little slayer felt it. "FAITH!" She hopped over the short concrete wall and entered the cemetery. The red head chased after her, and Xander brought up the rear; they approached in time to see Buffy dusting one vampire after another. That's when they noticed Faith on the ground.
"Oh man!" Xander ran forward and grabbed hold of Faith's jacket trying to drag her to safety. "Wil, she's been bit. Give me a hand." They managed to drag Faith out of the fray, and sat back watching as Buffy literally tore through the vampire pack, chasing after the last two who ran.
Buffy returned out of breath and with tears in her eyes. "Wil, is she?" She choked on the question.
"No Buf, it's okay. She's still alive, but we've got to get her to a hospital quick!"
The little slayer bent to gently pick Faith up. Tears streamed down her face as she cradled the younger slayer in her arms and surveyed the damage. "Oh my god, Faith… Please don't die… please don't die." She sobbed, kissing Faith, who remained mercifully unconcsious.
"Buffy, we have to hurry. Come on pull it together… for Faith. Okay?" Willow spoke firmly trying to get through to Buffy.
Faith's eyelashes fluttered, and Buffy was at her side, "Faith, sweetie can you hear me? I'm here. We're all here." The blonde kissed her cheek and squeezed her hand.
"Buffy, can I talk to you please?" Joyce motioned for her daughter to step out into the hall. "Honey, I don't want Faith going back to that filthy motel. I think she should stay with us from now on."
"Oh that's great mom… I do too." Buffy hugged her mother tight, "Thank you so much."
Mrs. Summers stroked her daughter's hair as she spoke, "Xander is going to come back to the house, and help me clear out the spare room. Maybe we can have it ready by the time the hospital releases her." Joyce smiled down at the tiny blonde. "Okay, now get back in there."
Buffy returned to the younger slayer's side to wait. Faith had been nearly drained and was close to death when Buffy had carried her in, but now the young girl was making a miraculous recovery. *Slayer healing… you gotta love it.* Buffy climbed onto the hospital bed next to Faith and wrapped her arms around the younger girl.
"B… ugh… I guess I'm alive." Faith's voice was raspy, "Must be alive, 'cause my throat hurts." As soon as Buffy heard Faith speak she started placing kisses all over the brunette's face. "B, I was jus' takin' a shortcut; I swear. I didn't mean to get all surrounded like that. There was jus' too many and I didn't have a stake. I'm sorry."
"Shhhh Faith. No. Stop. No apologizing from you." Buffy held her finger up to Faith's lips. "This is my fault, Faith… all of this. I'm so sorry… so sorry for everything. I just want you to get better, and come home with me. I promise to try… to try and do it right this time. I love you, Faith."
"What?" The younger slayer wasn't sure that she'd heard right. *Huh?! Am I dreaming… or actually dead… wow, how'd I get into heaven…*
"I said I love you… and please forgive me." Buffy's eyes teared up; she needed Faith to forgive her so desperately it had become a palatable thing. The brunette stared at her so she continued, "I've been treating everyone so badly… especially you. And I'm so sorry about that, I am… I've be given another chance… Can we start over… Let me do it right… I treasure you and I promise to treat you that way from now on… Oh Faith, please… I'm willing to do anything to make it up to you."
Faith finally got her wits about her,and asked teasingly, "Anything?" She wiggled her eyebrows and laughed. Then whispered, "How 'bout you being MY sex slave… an' if you're really good you'll get a cookie."
"Ugh… oh Faith, I was horrible wasn't I?!" Buffy squeezed her tight and said, "You've got a deal. Only I don't think I deserve a cookie." She chuckled and kissed Faith's cheek. "So you will come home with me to stay? .. for good.. no more seedy motels, okay?"
"Do you mean it? B, your mom… you can't just ask me.."
Buffy cut her off mid-sentence, "Actually Faith, it's my mother who insists on this and I just agree… your home is with us." The little slayer nibbled Faith's earlobe. "Besides it gives us all the sleepovers we could ever want… I mean you are getting your own room but who's to say we still can't share a bed… Hmmm? Whaddya say… become a Summers?"
Faith stammered, "Um… yeah. Hell, yeah. I love you, B. I'll stay with you forever… if ya let me."
"Let you?! I'm begging you." Buffy laughed, and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. "Okay, it's official. You're my girlfriend… wait… no, you're my wife."
"Where's my ring… ya cheapskate?! Oh, and I'm not quitting my job." Faith made a determined little pout.
"I wouldn't ask you to, darling, but how about instead, we always work together that way we can protect each other." Buffy smoothed back a wavy lock of Faith's hair.
"Okay, I like that deal better. Now get me out of this crappy hospital."
PART 18 - Sharing A Bed, Sharing A Life
Buffy fluffed up the pillow and put it back behind Faith's head. "Okay, the soup is on its way. Is there anything else that you want?"
Faith smirked.
"Ooooh… no you don't. You're not well enough yet." Buffy squealed as Faith grabbed her and pulled her onto the bed.
"C'mon B… just a quickie. Pleaseeee." Faith held the wiggling blonde down and kissed her very slowly, gradually deepening the kiss.
*Uh…oh…ummm… ahhhhh… What a kiss!… Oh boy! Kissy Faith… my favorite.* Buffy smiled up at the brunette. "Have I told you how much I love you?"
Faith rolled her eyes, "Only like a million times today." She laughed, "Face it B, I'm not letting you up. You have to stay in this bed with me." Faith fiddled with the buttons on Buffy's blouse. "We might get kinda bored though… hmmm… What to do…"
Buffy's eyes widened as she squirmed, "No Faith, my mom's going to be bringing your soup upstairs. We have to wait."
Faith shook her head, "Uh-uh, c'mon B… go lock the door. You know you want to." She gave Buffy a wicked grin.
Buffy sucked her breathe in, "Faith, let me up."
Faith released the little slayer and settled back onto the bed, watching as Buffy made her way to the door.
"Mom." The little blonde shouted down. "Mom, Faith isn't going to want that soup until later. She's going to take a nap now, okay?"
"Fine. Honey, I'll just put it in the fridge. I have to go to the gallery, so you heat it up for her later."
Buffy closed the door, leaning up against it as she turned the lock, smiling back at the brunette waiting in her bed.
Faith held out her arms. "Come on, get your ass over here." Buffy grinned and ran to her jumping on the bed and bouncing.
"Ugh! B, are ya trying to make me barf or somethin'?"
"Oh, so now I make you feel like throwing up?!! Talk about short honeymoons!" Buffy laughed, gently prodding the younger slayer.
"So this is our honeymoon!… You are cheap!… first, no ring and now this, a honeymoon at home. B, ya sure know how to sweep a gal off her feet." Faith chuckled reaching over and pulling Buffy's blouse open.
"Hey, I liked this shirt." The blonde whined looking down at her now, buttonless blouse.
"It's only fair. If you tear my clothes, I'm gonna tear yours."
"Clothes by damned!" Buffy snorted. "C'mon Faithy, you wanna get it on?! I'm ready!….…Are you ready for me?" The little slayer asked softly as she reached down between Faith's legs, gently rubbing the crotch of her panties.
The brunette swallowed hard. "Uhhh… ummm… yeah, I… uh… Oh my god, B." Faith groaned out the last part, closing her eyes as Buffy slipped her hand under the material and ran her fingers lightly over Faith's clitoris and lower.
"Oh yeah! You're ready." Buffy cocked her head, grinning as she looked down at Faith and slipped her finger into younger girl. "Ahhh.. oh Faith… you feel soooo soft and warm inside… oh I love it… I love you… and how much I love this… ohhh wow… oh geez… mmmm." She slipped her finger slowly in and out, and then added another, pumping faster. "Do you like this Faithy? … me fucking you? … hmmm?… is it good for you too?… Tell me... tell me how much you want me." Buffy ordered staring at Faith's mouth in fascination. Those full lips were slightly parted as the brunette panted and moaned, occasionally Faith's tongue would flick out to moisten them.
"Yessss! I want you… I want you to fuck me… pleaseeee. I'll do anything, just fuck me. Ohhhh Buffyyyy!" Faith shivered and pulled Buffy down to kiss her, crushing the smaller girl to her body. "Oh Jezuz… I'm gonna cum." She moaned against Buffy's delicious mouth.
"That's it baby. Cum for me." Buffy pulled her fingers out, and hooked them in the waistband tugging Faith's panties off. She crawled quickly between Faith's legs and licked her. "Mmmmm… oh Faith… yesss… you taste SO good… Now you can cum, baby… into my mouth… all over my face… please."
"Holy shit! B!" Faith was shocked, but aroused as she rubbed her pussy against Buffy's eager mouth, moaning while the little slayer licked and sucked. *Oh my god, I fuckin' love you! Oh! Oh!* "YESSS! FUCK YEAH!!! BUFFYYYYYY!" She arched up clenching the bed with one hand and the back of Buffy's head with the other.
Faith laid there dazed as Buffy continued to lap at her while gently stroking her tummy. Finally the little blonde looked up and gave her a lazy smile, "Do I get a reward?"
"Sure baby, come here. I'll give you a reward." Faith laughed, wiggling her eyebrow and reaching for Buffy.
"No. No. No. You're still too weak. I meant a cookie." Buffy said giving a cute little grunt on the word cookie.
"Oh fuck me, you've earned a whole bag of them."
"Goodie!" Buffy jumped up, wiped her face on her torn blouse, and kissed Faith. "Okay, I'll be right back." And before Faith could stop her the little blonde had left the room, heading for the kitchen.
"Buffy, your shirt! Your mom!" Faith shouted it, but Buffy was down the stairs.
When Buffy returned a few moments later she was carrying the portable tv in one hand and balancing a tray with milk and chips ahoy cookies in the other. "Snack time, sit up."
"Did your mother see you?" Faith gestured at Buffy's torn blouse.
"No, you silly. She had to go to the gallery, remember? Gawd!" Buffy giggled, as she set the tv down and turned it on. "I think I can find you some good old-fashioned Bugs cartoons." She flipped the channels. "Yep, here you go."
The little blonde got onto the bed next to Faith, and smiled. Faith smiled back, saying, "Yeah. Yeah. I know. You love me."
Buffy pinched her teasingly. "Ouch!" Faith screeched. "Whaddya doin', crazy?!"
"Oh I'm sorry, what did you say?" She hovered, threatening to pinch Faith again.
"I said I love you."
"That's better." Buffy picked up a cookie and started nibbling, "Oh guess what? I talked to Willow, and her and Xander are coming over tonight with movies. 'kay, honey?"
"Yeah sure. Sounds great." Faith gave Buffy a dreamy smile.
"And they're going to stayover. We're having another sleepover. Is that okay with you?"
"Yeah. I love sleepovers." Faith pulled Buffy to her and gave her a cookie kiss.
