PART 1

As Buffy turned the corner, she felt a sudden rush of heat and the familiar tingling sensation. She stopped abruptly and closed her eyes to better sense the threat. *It's close.* She had been caught off guard. *Can't breathe. Butterflies in my stomach.* Her eyes snapped open as the realization struck her and the name came out as a gasp. "Faith!"

"That's right, B." Faith stepped out from behind the bushes; a big grin spread across her face. "Didya miss me?" Before Buffy could respond or even think of a response. She was stunned by a sharp pain in her right thigh. Reaching down and frowning, she pulled the protruding dart from her leg, slowly dragging her eyes toward the source; Faith, who she now realized was holding a pistol low and close to her hip.

"What the hell…" Buffy felt the woozy sensation overtaking her, she looked back up at Faith's face.

"Want," Faith sauntered toward her, "Take." Buffy felt her legs give out. Faith caught her easily as she whispered the last word into Buffy's ear. "Have." And everything went black.

PART 2

Faith lifted the unconscious slayer gently in her arms and carried her to the waiting limousine. Another car was now parked along side. The two vampires leaning against it quickly stood up when she approached. Faith frowned as they moved toward her, one of them reaching for Buffy.

"I wouldn't if I were you." It wasn't Faith who spoke, but it caused the vampire to hesitate, and finally take a good look at Faith. He suddenly dropped his hands and stepped back. Deciding to heed the warning.

"See I told you." Chuckling loudly, a man wearing a dark, very well-tailored suit stepped from around the vehicle. Faith hadn't noticed him. He flashed Faith a toothy grin, his red eyes glowing. "We just want to help."

*Demon son-of-a-bitch.* Faith tensed and held Buffy tighter.

"Easy now, Faith. Wolfram and Hart sent us." He gestured for the two vampires to get back into the car. "We're just here to make sure everything goes smoothly." He started reaching inside his jacket for one of his cards but stopped, changing his mind as her eyes narrowed. He laughed again, "You are a dark one, aren't you? I like that." As he got into the car he paused, "We'll get in touch with you."

*Fuck!* Faith watched the car drive away then looked down at the blond little slayer cradled in her arms. "It's okay, B. I didn't expect those bastard laywers to keep their word. I got it covered."

PART 3

*I need to wake up… waking now...* Buffy's mind struggled. She needed to become aware; there was something important, but she couldn't remember. Buffy made a weak attempt to focus. *So dark...eyes won't open... Feel wet...water and touching…hmmm... I'm in water? huh? Stupid brain... not awake yet.*

Buffy's body seemed to be waking though. At least she could feel what was happening, even if she couldn't make much sense out of it. *Good dream…mmmm...nice dream.* She could feel the warm water on her skin. And soft, soapy hands sliding over her body. *Touching... everywhere...*

Buffy smiled. *A bath. I'm getting a bath. Hmmm...so nice…I like baths...* She relaxed; her thoughts quieting as she settled into the dream. *Soft fingertips running lightly over my back,..my shoulders... tracing tiny circles...feels sparkly.*

Buffy became dimly aware of her nipples hardening beneath the delicate touches. With increasing pressure the hands moved lower, rubbing and massaging their way to her stomach. *ahhhh...washing my tummy...I like that...feels sooo nice….and now between my legs...ohhhhhh!* Little waves of pleasure started to ripple through her.

*...right there...yes...that's best of all* Her arousal intensified at the extreme intimacy of by being bathed by someone else. *...over every inch of my body...even my...especailly my...pussy...so wet...* Buffy moaned sofly.

Suddenly it stopped; no more gentle stroking. She then sensed being lifted and carried.

*Still sleepy... more dreaming.* She was somewhere different now. *..on a bed?* Buffy's hands were lifted. Cold metal bands snapped around each wrist. *...more touching.*

She relaxed as her skin felt something new, patting her lightly. *A towel...tickly towel...a towel named tickles?*

Buffy giggled.

PART 4

*Damn, did she just giggle?!* Faith looked up quickly. *Yes, she did. A Buffy giggle.* Faith smiled. *Okay, she's a cutie.*

Faith gazed down enjoying the sight of Buffy's silly grin. *Naked little Buffy. Mine now… to touch, to taste, to spoil…* Taking a breath she shook her head. *I'm such a sap.*

Faith leaned back to her task but Buffy wiggled away, giggling at each attempt. "Come on B. Hold still, will ya?!"

Faith tried drying her once more, but it was a losing battle. Finally tossing the towel to the floor she crawled over Buffy and whispered, "Okay B, stay wet. It doesn't matter to me."

Sighing, she slipped her arms around Buffy and held her tight. Buffy was hers now, at least for a little while, and that's all that mattered.

*****

When Buffy awoke, the delicious sensations were still reverberating through her body. She could feel a lazy smile of contentment forming on her lips. She wanted to stretch but something soft was laying on top of her. *Strike that, someone... someone in leather!* Buffy's eyes shot open.

"Faith!"

PART 5

"Faith!!!" Buffy yelled again. "Get up! What do think you're doing?!"

Faith, who had been sleeping peacefully, now scrambled in confusion before falling roughly to the floor. She stood with a pained expression on her face, rubbing her ear. "Fuck! Ya think you can scream any louder?!"

Buffy watched with some amusement before turning her attention to the chains restraining her. She tugged forcefully, nothing; they didn't budge a bit. She then glanced around to take in the rest of the situation. That's when she noticed what she was wearing or rather what she wasn't wearing, clothes. There was a definite lack of clothing.

"Faith! Where are my clothes?!"

"Again with the yelling. B, could you pipe down little? You're making my head hurt." Pressing her palms to her temples, Faith sat heavily on the edge of the bed.

Buffy stopped to look at her. *She seems kind of pale… beautiful still… gorgeous even… those dark eyes, and those lips, hmmm… perfect really… but definitely pale. A headache? She looks like she's in pain. I'm making her head hurt… Well too bad!*

"I swear, I'm going to hurt more than that when I'm done!" Buffy snapped. "I'm so going to kick your ass. Now let me up."

"Not gonna happen B."

"What's the matter? Afraid of a fair fight. Oh, that's right. I forgot. Fighting fair really isn't your style, is it Faith?" Buffy noticed her tensing up before shaking her head.

"No, it's not gonna happen because I'm not here to fight with you."

"I see… So are we going to play a game of twenty questions or are you going to tell me what the hell you are here for?"

But before Faith could get out a syllable, Buffy interrupted. "You know what, I don't give a damn why you're here. Just unchain me!"

Faith sighed in frustration.

"Dammit Faith! Don't you dare turn your back on me. Are you listening?! Let me up! Let me up this second!" Buffy shrieked scooting down far enough to give her a hard kick.

"Ouch!" Faith found herself on the floor again. "You little…" She held back as Buffy squirmed under her stare. *She's blushing. Ha! You're still naked.*

Faith leered at her. "Awww, B. You're soooo cute when you're angry."

"And you're soon to be, sooo dead!" Buffy growled struggling against the chains.

"Careful B. You're going to hurt yourself." Faith laughed as Buffy struggled harder, then fell back against the bed, out of breathe and red with indignation.

"At least cover me." The request came quietly and through gritted teeth as Buffy turned away from Faith's huge grin.

"Sure." Faith untangled the sheets at the foot of the bed letting them fall lightly over Buffy's nude body before gently asking, "Are you hungry?"

"What?!"

Faith cleared her throat nervously prepared to repeat the question, but Buffy cut in. "Yeah, I heard you. No, I'm not thinking about food right now, Faith. I'm too busy wondering how long before you slit my throat." Faith frowned but Buffy continued her rant. "I guess it's good to know that after eight months in a coma, you're ready to pick up right where you left off. Well, except for a short break I guess. Where were you for the last two weeks, anyway?"

"Why? Were you worried?" Faith's tone sounded bitter.

"Yeah! I was worried alright. Worried that me or one of my friends would get a knife in their back," Buffy snorted. "Not too far off my guess, was I?" Buffy ignored Faith's strange expression and pressed on. "So what's the plan Faith? What's your big strategy here? Probably don't have one, do you? Just going to do some old fashioned torturing, a little maiming, and top it off with some killing? That's right stick with what you know best." *Got her.*

Buffy barely took a breath, "I was hoping things could be different; I should have known you wouldn't change a bit. And of course, you couldn't wait to come back here and start screwing with my life again, could you?!"

Faith's face transformed into a mask of rage, her hands clenched into fists at her side. "Fuck! You never shut up, do you?! Goddammit Buffy! If you'd stop nagging for five seconds. Just shut up! Shut up! Shut up!!!!!!"

*Need to hit something. Now!* Faith stepped away from Buffy turning her fury on one of the stone walls in the room. "Bitch!" She punched it as hard as she could, sending her fist right through. Powder and small chunks of stone covered the floor.

Buffy blinked in shock. *Okay, quiet time.*

Faith pulled her hand out slowly, shaking it. *Fuck, that hurt but it made her shut up for a sec.* She glanced over to see Buffy staring. *Shit!* Tears welled up in her eyes as she strode past going through a set of double doors.

"Screw it!" Another door slammed.

Buffy strained her ears to hear a key turning in the lock. She felt a little foolish. *Good escape plan. I'll get her so pissed that she kills me. Aren't I the clever one?!* She let out a long sigh. *Great, now I have a headache.*

PART 6

Buffy laid there for what seemed like hours staring at the ceiling and wishing that Faith would hurry back. But what if Faith didn't come back? Buffy dismissed that thought almost instantly. She knew Faith would come back. She didn't know why, but she knew she would return. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Having had plenty of time to reconsider her strategy, she felt ready to face her, besides the fact that Buffy was dying of utter boredom. Tugging at her chains and looking around the room didn't exactly consitute extracurricular activities. *Make Faith come back soon. Please come back. Faith, I want you to come back. Faith! Pleassseee!!!*

Almost on cue the outer door opened, Buffy held her breathe. *Who is it?* Her senses were tingling. *Faith!* She exhaled with relief and smiled as the double doors opened.

"Hi."

"Hey." Faith returned the smile hesitantly; she had expected yelling but not friendliness. "I got us some food. Do you feel like eating yet?" She held up a bag. "It's that crap you use to like. You know, that Tokyo place that we use to go to."

Buffy watched Faith with great curiousity. *Why is she trying to be nice?* Faith set down the bags and moved toward the bed.

"Here." Faith placed a hand under Buffy and lifted her, propping pillows behind her back.

"You're not going to take these off?!" Buffy's eyes narrowed.

Faith looked at her watch then mumbled, "Not yet, B. Let's eat."

"How am I supposed to eat?" Buffy raised an eyebrow studying Faith closely.

"I'll help you. See." Faith held out the drink cup turning the straw so it was within reach of Buffy's lips. "I got you a diet coke."

Buffy frowned, tempted to tell Faith where she could stick that straw, but her thirst won out. She leaned forward catching the straw between her lips and sucking for all she was worth, her eyes locking with Faith's.

"Thanks."

"Sure." Faith cleared her throat before turning away to pull up a chair. "Do you want an eggroll?" Buffy nodded.

Faith spread out several napkins, placing everything down very carefully. She opened a sweet and sour sauce then looked at Buffy questioningly. Dipping the eggroll she brought it to Buffy's lips and stared, mesmorized by Buffy's mouth.

Buffy continued to watch Faith as she took another bite. Her eyes closed for a moment as she swallowed.

"Faith?" Buffy began cautiously.

"Hmm?" Faith pulled her eyes away and reached for her own drink. "What?"

"Where are we?"

Faith was fumbling with the lid. She knew it would be best not to say but Buffy's voice was so soft and the way she was smiling. "Huh? Oh, you're at my house."

*She looks dazed.* Buffy's smile grew. *Did I do that?*

Faith managed to get a drink. "Your house?" Buffy's tone was skeptical.

"Yeah. You know, inherited," She shrugged and popped Buffy's half eaten eggroll into her mouth.

"Hey! I wasn't done with that." Buffy's pout faded as Faith held up another eggroll. "Inherited from whom?"

"Whom?" Faith laughed at this dipping the eggroll for Buffy. "The mayor, B. Who else?" She motioned for Buffy to open her mouth. "After I woke up from my little siesta, there was this demon guy waiting for me with a package from the Mayor; it was a video tape of Boss' will. So ya see, he did care about me after all," she finished sadly.

Buffy had been chewing slowly as she listened. She swallowed and then spoke gently, "Faith, I… I'm sorry."

"Yeah well, shit happens. Anyway, I needed to get up to L.A. to sign some papers." Faith dabbed Buffy's lips with a napkin stealing a quick peek at Buffy's chest. The sheet had been slipping lower and now barely covered her nipples; Buffy seemed unaware. Faith cleared her throat again, "So that's where I've been for the last two weeks, in L.A., seeing some asshole laywers. B?"

"Nothing. I was thinking of something, never mind. Here, feed me." She opened her mouth; Faith chuckled.

"Okay B, hold your horses." Faith dipped the last bite into the sauce and reached out trying to place it on Buffy's tongue before it dripped. *Not quick enough.* The sauce landed on Buffy's left breast. "Oops. Sorry."

"I bet." She arched an eyebrow at Faith's wicked smile. Then gasped as Faith tugged the sheet down to her waist. *No. She wouldn't! Would she?!* Buffy held her breathe as Faith glanced back up at her grinning. *Of course she would!*

Faith bent her head and licked the sauce up slowly, her grin fading as she leaned in again, this time running her tongue over Buffy's nipple, covering it with her lips and sucking gently.

Buffy's eyes slid shut. *Faith's mouth...warm, wet...total sparkage..* Buffy wanted to tangle her hands into Faith's hair and pull her closer. *Faithy! ahhhh... Ringing. Hmmm... Something is ringing.*

"Faith." Buffy tried to move back. "Faith!"

"Huh?" Faith lifted her head. "Please?"

"No Faith, you're ringing." Buffy watched as Faith slowly understood and sat back up.

She reached in a pocket of her leather jacket walking away from the bed as she flipped the cell phone open. "What?!!!"

PART 7

"Fuck. No." Faith became agitated. "No, I can't."

Buffy strained to hear but couldn't make out any of the conversation. Nothing except what Faith was saying, and that wasn't proving to be very useful.

"Not right now. Fine." Faith snapped the phone closed. She turned back toward Buffy and seeing the look on her face waved it off, "Five by five, B. Ready for some teriyaki chicken?"

*****

TWO WEEKS EARLIER

Faith sat in Lindsey McDonald's office stretched out in a chair with her feet up on the desk. They were waiting for Lilah. "Is this gonna take long? 'Cause I got a lot of shit to do still."

"No Faith, can I call you Faith?" He smiled uncertainly at the frowning slayer. Pressing the intercom, "Susan, can you see what's keeping Lilah please." Faith's stare had become unnerving. "We are very glad to see you, Faith. Your timing is remarkable." Lindsey cleared his throat as Lilah finally entered. "Ah Lilah, I was just telling Faith…"

"That we are pleased to see her." Lilah cut in, making her way across the room and holding her hand out.

Faith's eyes narrowed as she shook Lilah's hand, "Yeah, he said that. Everyone's happy to see me. Now get to the point!" She leaned back smugly, "After all, I've got an inhertance to spend."

Lindsey exchanged a glance with Lilah, "As you may know, Sunnydale still currently has a slayer problem. We would like a little assistance with that." They now had Faith's full attention as she sat up.

Lindsey continued, "Here's how we see it. The best way to catch a slayer is with another slayer."

"Why should I do anything for you?" Faith growled at him.

"Well, it's more about what we can do for each other, isn't it?" Lilah cautiously placed a hand on Faith's shoulder.

"Keep talking." She shrugged Lilah's hand off in annoyance.

Coughing slightly, Lindsey spoke, "We are aware that you may be having some legal problems. Remanents of some of your pre-coma activities." Lindsey paused to allow the inference to set in. "We could take care of that for you. Make it go away."

"Let me get this straight. You scumbags are offering to get me off scot-free for everything, even the murder of the Deputy Mayor?"

"Yes. We could guarantee that all charges would be dismissed." Lindsey smiled reassuringly.

"What do I have to do?"

PART 8

"Not much. It's very simple really."

Lindsey opened a drawer, pulling out a pistol and laying it on his desk. Faith scowled. "Relax. It just shoots tranquilizer darts." He took a breathe waiting for Faith to ease up. "We're not interested in having Buffy Summers killed. What we really need is a brief reprieve."

Glimpsing Faith's confusion he pressed on, "You see we've had to send several individuals and more recently several groups of individuals down to Sunnydale; they've been trying to do a little research and collect a few items for the firm."

"What items?"

Lilah interupted, "That's not of your concern. The point here is that our associates seem to be getting staked before they can make any progress."

Faith laughed. *Alright, B!*

"We're not amused."

"Yeah? Well, then I guess you don't have a sense of humor. 'Cause I think it's fucking hilarious." Faith looked over at Lindsey who also was smirking. "See he thinks it's funny too. Maybe you should take that stick out of your ass."

Lindsey choked, "Excuse me." Then clearing his throat continued, "What we need is for you to capture Miss Summers and deliver her to us for save keeping. We'd also… " Faith's grin immediately disappeared.

"No." She shook her head emphatically.

"What's the problem?" Lilah's patience was beginning to run low.

"You can't have her."

"What?" Now Lilah was completely puzzled.

"I'll get her out the way for you; but she's mine. I get to keep her."

Lindsey motioned to the vampires standing near the door. One of them nodded and then silently exited.

"For gods sake, we're not talking about a puppy here; she's a slayer…" Lilah shouted, her frustration surfacing.

"I'm a slayer!" Faith stood up quickly taking a step towards Lilah who now looked panicked.

"Faith!" Lindsey held up his hand. "It's okay. Just sit back down. Please."

Faith sneered at Lilah before taking her seat again. "You heard me. I want her. If I capture her I get to keep her."

"May I ask why?!" Lilah's tone remained one of exasperation.

"You can ask anything you damn well please. It doesn't mean I'm gonna tell you." Faith retorted. She was feeling a strong urge to gut Lilah right there. "She's mine or there's no deal!"

Oblivious to the danger, Lilah opened her mouth to object but Lindsey signaled for her to remain quiet. "That's fine, Faith. You can keep her. It's not a problem. We just need her out of commission long enough to complete our tasks in Sunnydale. As long as you can promise that, you can have her, I give you my word." Both Faith and Lilah snorted at the last part.

Lindsey ignored it and motioned to the returning vampire. Walking up to Lindsey's desk, the vampire placed an ornately carved wooden box down.

"If you're going to take the responsibility of keeping her locked up you're going to need this." Faith peered into the box Lindsey was opening.

"Have you ever heard of the Cruciamentum?" Lindsey asked smiling slyly.

PART 9

"Teriyaki chicken, right?" Faith opened another container with uncertainty. *Should I try picking up where I left off? She didn't object. No, but she might. Maybe I should cover her up again? No, there's no need to be stupid! Just act casual. She looks kinda mad though. No, it's cool. Just be cool Faith.* Faith gave Buffy a nervous smile as she held a spoonful of teriyaki chicken in front of her.

*Dammit Faith! You're being used again. Who the hell was that on the phone?! I know you won't tell me. We're probably both in danger and here you are playing around. You just never think, do you?! I swear if I could right now, I'd kick your cute little ass all over this room. Ready for some teriyaki chicken?! Do you think we're on a date?!! This is insane!* Buffy sat glaring.

"B?" Faith's voice cracked a little. "Aren't you still hungry? You didn't eat much."

*I need to hold it together. Stay calm. Remember strategy. I just have to be smarter than Faith. I can do this. I think that coma must have left her brain damaged anyway. Okay, Faith wants to play?! Let's play!* Buffy smiled warmly opening her mouth for a spoonful. *What are we playing?…what's the game? Chaining me up naked. Okay… why? What does Faith get?… what does she now have that I don't?… Control! Gotcha!* Buffy beamed at Faith and in a silky tone, "Faithy… drink please."

"Huh? Umm… oh, here." Faith shook her head a little as she brought the drink cup back over to Buffy.

Buffy just glanced up at her expectantly. "Sorry," Faith placed the straw between Buffy's lips. Buffy batted her eyelashes sipping slowly and smiling up at Faith.

Faith jumped up, suddenly uncomfortablely warm. "Is it hot in here? Hold on, B. Gotta take of this jacket."

"Nuh. I'm not too warm." Buffy answered pleasantly. "You okay Faith?"

"Yeah. I… I'm good. Just had to get that jacket off. Ya know leather and all."

"You sure? You look a little flushed; maybe you have a fever. Come here and let me feel you." Buffy's face had become a picture of concern.

"Wha…What?" Faith looked over at Buffy then quickly looked away. The sight of her was too much. Buffy was still exposed from the waist up, her hair slightly tangled now had a wild look to it, and the expression on her face was… was sweltering. *God! Can't breath.*

"Faithyyyy…. Come here."

"Yes?" Faith rushed back over to Buffy. "Yes B? What do you need?"

"Hungry." Buffy pouted.

Faith stared, dazed for a moment. *Fuck, I love it when she pouts. Just wanna bite that lip…*

Buffy furrowed her eyebrows trying to pout harder. "I'm hungry," she grumbled again fighting back a smile as Faith immediately reached for the food.

"Sorry B. Sorry. Here." Faith held out a spoonful, "Here."

Buffy continued to pout opening her mouth with some reluctance. *This is too fun. Let's play more, Faithy. Careful Buffy, don't smile. Pout. I'm pouting. Bigger pout.* She frowned chewing slowly.

"B?" Faith cleared her throat, "Buffy?"

"Hmmm?" Buffy gave her a bored look. *Using my full name. Ah, this is serious.*

"Aren't you going to ask me?" Faith could feel her heart pounding erractically. *Leave it alone! Faith you moron!*

Buffy just arched an eyebrow appearing to disinterested to use words.

"Ya know, wh… why I kidnapped you and… and well don't you wanna know?" Faith sounded desperate.

Buffy shrugged and opened her mouth for more food.

"Buffy?!"

"More eggroll." Buffy grunted, watching Faith closely. *Whaddya gonna do Faith? Cry? Wow, I think she might actually cry?! Why…this is just a game to her,… isn't it?* Buffy felt a flicker of remorse but stifled it. *No. I'm not going to let up. Teaching Faith a lesson here.*

Faith held an eggroll out near Buffy's mouth.

"Sauce. I don't want it all dry," Buffy grumbled. "Dip it in the sweet and sour sauce. Get a lot on it." Faith blindly obeyed. *Time to take it up a notch.*

Buffy noticed Faith's hand shake slightly as she held the eggroll out again. "Closer," she ordered; Faith leaned in. "Closer."

Buffy smirked, pulling back at the last moment and causing Faith to drop the eggroll. It fell between her breasts and lower under the sheet.

"Oopsy!"

PART 10

Buffy peered up at the brunette, giving her a sexy smile. "Aren't you going to clean me off?" She asked innocently.

"Huh?!" Faith pulled away, flustered.

"C'mon Faith…You got me all sticky. See?"

Faith resisted the urge to look down. Instead her dark eyes locked on chilly green ones, searching. The little blonde held her stare, chuckling a little.

"Afraid to look?" She taunted. "Oh go ahead Faithyyyy… Take a look. And really get an eyeful this time… I want you to…grrrr… C'mon…." The younger slayer jumped from the bed and backed away.

"Shit B! What's with you?!!! Ya feelin' okay?!"

"Five by five, F. The question is, how do you feeeeel…." Buffy drawled suggestively, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Cut it out!"

"Cut what out?" The blonde slayer asked smiling blankly.

"That!…the attitude," Faith snapped. "Talking that way. It's just not working for you, B," she said hesitantly. "You're creepin' me out."

*Yeah… feeling wicked freaked… what's that about?!* She turned away to pace, avoiding Buffy's eyes, and mumbling to herself, "...too unbuffylike or something."

"Oooh Faithy! Buffylike?" The blonde cooed causing Faith to blush.

The petite slayer's voice was now syrupy. "Is that what you want… hmmm? Buffy like…Do you wanna see what Buffy likes?…Unchain me, and I promise, I'll show you."

Faith stopped pacing and turned.
