Author’s Notes: I think to bring Buffy back to herself
the only person who could make her feel is Faith. THEY
BRING OUT THE BEST AND WORST IN EACH OTHER. So instead
of Spike stopping Buffy I went for Faith.
I CAN’T BELIVE IT. I’M FREE. I GUESS I SHOULD WAIT FOR DEADBOY BUT HE’S BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS OF HIS OWN AS OF LATE. Plus there’s something I gotta do first. Faith picked up her bag and headed for the bus station.
Man B. I DON’T CARE IF YOU BEAT ME I’M GOING TO SAY WHAT I GOTTA SAY. FAITH THOUGHT TO HERSELF AS THE BUS PULLED INTO SUNNYDALE FAITH NOTICED THAT THINGS WEREN’T QUITE THE NORM. TO SAY THE LEAST.
“What the.” “I’ve got rhythm I’ve got music who could ask for anything more.” A man sang as he twirled about. Faith stood awe struck as the rest of Sunnydale broke into song.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw Spike heading towards some kind of warehouse stalking up to him he spotted her.
“Look Slayer I don’t have time Buffy’s in there and she needs help.” “Sorry spikey the only help B’s gonna get is from me.”
“Oh wait don’t tell me you too?”
“I don’t know what your sayin there’s nothing between us it’s just a slayer thing so if I gotta go to the pits of hell to retrive her I will cause she’s all I’m leaving for so I hate to do this but goodnight.” Faith hit Spike over the head as she twirled around.
Faith entered into the warehouse as she heard Buffy. Singing “I was in heaven. So give me something to sing about.” Buffy stopped looking up she found nothing. Flipping over she began to dance wildly out of control turning she came face to face with Faith.
“Did I ever tell you how you live in me. Every waking moment even in my dreams. And if all this talk is crazy and you don’t know what I mean it does. It really matter just as long as I believe. I WILL LOVE AGAIN THOUGH MY HEART IS BREAKING. Will love again STRONGER THAN BEFORE. I WILL LOVE AGAIN EVEN IF IT TAKES A LIFETIME TO GET OVER YOU. Heaven only knows I will love again.
"PEOPLE NEVER TELL YOU THE WAY THEY TRULY FEEL. I WOULD DIE FOR YOU GLADLY IF I KNEW IT WAS FOR REAL. SO IF ALL THIS TALK SOUNDS CRAZY AND THE WORDS DON’T COME OUT RIGHT DOES IT REALLY MATTER IF IT GETS ME THRU THIS NIGHT. I WILL LOVE AGAIN THOUGH MY HEART IS BREAKIN I WILL LOVE AGAIN STRONGER THAN BEFROE. I WILL LOVE AGAIN EVEN IF IT TAKES A LIFETIME TO GET OVER YOU. HEAVEN ONLY KNOWS. If I’m true to myself, nobody else can take the place of you but I’ve got to move on tell me what else can I dooooooooooo." Faith sang as she slid across the floor.
"I will love again though my heart is breakin I will love again stronger than before. I will love again even if it takes a lifetime to get over you. Heaven only knows. I will love again. One day I know I will love again. You can’t stop me from loving again breathing again feeling again oh one day I will love again oh-oh.”
The demon stood. “Well done. But it won’t save her. She summoned me.” “No I didn’t.” Dawn replied. “It was on the floor and I picked it up.” “Well who did it?" The demon racked his eyes across the room. Xander raised his hand. “You don’t want me right.”
“Tempting but no.”
“Well lets see there’s not anyone who can say this ended well. All those secrets you been concealing say your happy now once more with felling. I gotta run see you all in hell.” And with that he vanished like a light.
Faith didn’t bother to stay for the Scooby break down. Walking out she was about to turn the corner when she felt it. Not this strong since before she went bad. Turning. “B.“
“Faith why did you. No don’t tell me I.” “B. Buffy..” Before Faith could finish her thought Buffy kissed her.
“Well my kiddies this is where our story ends. Just remember that life is a song and when it comes to true love we always get the girlllllllll…"
