She was the most interesting little girl. But she doesn't remember me. Or us. She can't recall the ice skating we did or the hands we held on those cold winter nights. But I do and I remember our last day we sat eating a cookie, it was chocolate chip. A Chips Ahoy if I recall. This was it I knew it. We just kids but that didn't matter I knew then that I wanted to go with her and she wanted to stay. But that wasn't what fate had in mind.

Ten years. Have passed and what she still hasn't left my head or heart. I'm crazed well that isn't right. I just feel alone there's something that's missing inside of me and it I know it all begins and ends with her. I stand here outside of a town called SunnyDale. Yeah well SunnyHell is more like it.

I know she's here I can feel her. I've almost been searching for her my entire life. I'm no stalker hell not me. I mean I knew where she was I just never had the guts to face her. Maybe I was scared but hey now I have a reason to be here. And I promise to be on my best behavior.

Stepping into the humid air of the Bronze. Buffy slowly surveyed the room something was off. She felt it but what. What ever it was she'd get to the bottom of it soon enough. "Hey Buffy" Buffy made her way to her friends the Scoobies. Sitting down the five some began to talk of the days events. Cordelia noticed what looked like a trashy vixen dancin with a vamp a second before. Calling it to Buffy's attention. The blonde Slayer went to investigate.

When she reached the alley she had that feeling again. Watching the brunette the strangest feeling of deja-vu sweept over her. "Hey You must be Buffy. Can I borrow that?" Faith asked as she grabed the stake. You must be Buffy real bright. It's not like she'd remember I'm deluding myself. Faith thought to herself.

"Uh-yeah I'm Buffy." "New Slayer" Oz toned in. Buffy couldn't shake the feeling that she knew the other girl instead she passed it off as a slayer thing. Chill don't stare just be you. Yeah that's easy my soulmate is right here and I'm discussing what to do with myself in my head.

"So Faith where you staying?" Buffy asked she wasn't even sure why she had, something was drawing her to this girl but what. "Uh I hadn't thought about it. I was gonna stay in a hotel." "No you can uh stay with me. I mean if you're cool." Cool oh god yes. "You don't have to." "I want to." "Thanks." "C'mon we can head out now. Night guy's." The scoobies watched as the two walked out.

As the two walked down the street something was drawing them towards the inevitable. Stopping at Buffy's door the moon began to shine. Faith was unaware of the fidgeting she was doing Buffy noticed the small act of nervousness and was struck with an image of a girl. Unsure of where it came from she shook it off and walked inside, Faith right behind her.

"Mom." Buffy called out. Noticing the small piece of paper on the back of the door Buffy realised her mom was out of town. "So uh you hungry?" "Uh sure what you got." "Um lets see I know there's some cookies around here." "Yeah but if they're not Chips Ahoy I don't want em." The two said in unison looking at one another they were both speechless.
