The Honeymoon Is Over

Well what can I say. I got the girl saved the world and have a beautiful daughter. What could a once psycho slayer ever ask for? And it's that question that now I'm plagued with. Buffy was now sitting on a plane back to Sunnydale. Faith her wife now sat next to her she had fallen asleep almost as soon as the plane had left Hawaii. It was strange and nice to know that it was her wife sitting next to her. Legally in all sense of the word. Most marriages weren't like their's . Not because they were both girls but because they were slayers two people in all the world able to fight things that most people only thought of as nightmares.
Buffy was content. She and Faith had done things in Hawaii that would've frightin fish. Which they did and so much more. Buffy was sure that if she could get pregnant again she and Faith both would be. A sly grin began to creep her features as she looked over to the raven haired slayer. At that Faith began to stir. Opening her eyes she saw the most angelic face staring back at her. Her eyes were hooded with passion. "Hello heaven." "Hey yourself." "B. Is there something you want to tell me." "Yes I want you." "And this is my dilemma. Do I make love to the girl and risk embarrassment or do I sit here all hot and bothered." Well if B was your wife you already know the answer.
The two headed to the bathroom. Unfortunately fate and Sunnydale had other plans. "Hello Passengers this is the Captain we'll be landing in Sunnydale in five minutes. The seatbelt sign is on." "We got five minutes." Buffy said with a smile. "What I had planned could take hours." Faith replied back. "I'll take your word on that."
The two very aroused slayers headed back to their seats. The plane touched down a few minutes later.
Walking to the gate. Buffy grabbed Faith's hand a smile passed between them as the two moved in for a kiss they were broken out of their silence. "Mom, Buffy, Faith." A small parade of people began to scream. The two slayers looked onto the crowd. Parting they headed over. Two teenage girls each hugged a slayer then switched. As a red girl and her blonde companion each hugged the two. A tall lanky guy and his blond companion hugged the two. An older man hugged the blonde then dark haired slayer.
"So how was Hawaii?" everyone asked "It was great." They both said "but we're a little tired and we should probably get Dawn and Joy home you know school night's and all."
"No you don't we want details." Xander said as his fiancée hit him in the arm. "Not those details but scenery and you know there was a wedding which none of us got to attend." "Sorry X-man this was just between us I mean we'll have something for you guys but B and I needed some slayer time. We love you guys we just needed each other." "What she said." Buffy replied almost dreamily. "Okay Mom you broke her that's not the same worry wort who called everyday to check on me and Dawn what you'd do to her. Tell me it's that Spencer charm right?" Joy asked with a sly grin. "What do you know about that charm you're not trying it out on Dawny over there. Dawn sweety please tell me my daughter has been behaving herself." "I cannot tell a lie she's been an angel." "If you say so" Faith said ruffling the curls on her daughter's head. "Mom." "What nobody saw." "C'mon guy's we'll talk at our house." Buffy said heading out.
Buffy and Faith were so glad to be home the only problem was they now had two teenage girls to share the roof with. They had finally gotten rid of the other's but the girls were determined to stay. "So you two aren't gonna go bronzing." "Not tonight." "How about patrol you don't want to patrol?" "Things have been pretty dead around here we just wanna hang with you two." "If it's cool with you two. I mean I can't actually recall like having a childhood so I figured you know this could be like family time." Joy said matter of factly enjoying the look of pure despair on her parents faces. "Geez guys I was just kidding. As a matter of fact Dawn and I have date." "That's good were you two going to." "It's a surprise Joy won't tell me." Dawn said as she came into the living room. "Spencer charm." Faith and Joy said in unison. Dawn and Buffy just glared on. Each giving a small pout. "Oh honey come on." The two came back. "Summers' pout." Buffy and Dawn high fived. Smiling at the two.
"Well you two better head out don't miss curfew." "12:00?" "It's a school night. 10:30." "11:15." Buffy made a small face but relented. "11:30." "Thanks mom. Thanks Buffy." The two headed out. Leaving the two slayers alone for the evening. Faith grabbed the blonde swung her over her shoulder and headed up the stairs. Gotta love slayer strength.
The two were lying in each other's arms. Sleeping peacefully. They began to dream. "You thought your death was the end slayer it was just the beginning." Buffy awoke in a cold sweat. Faith was right behind her. "B it's okay. I'm right here." "Faith it's coming." "I know."
"Danmit." The glass went hurtling towards the window as Grace stormed off. Coming into the Minotaur took a moment to observe the goddess as she brooded on her throne.
"Your highness I apologize but I did state the dark haired slayer's love for the other was pure."
"Pure she is a tramp how is that even possible she has no right to take what should be mine."
"Highness if there is one thing I have learned about these humans is that when there is love involved nothing can stop the course of events from landing in their favor it may take sometime but in the end they always prevail."
"Comforting words from a dead animal. I want that slayer if I can't seduce her to me I will just have to take her and kill her beloved."
Buffy, Faith, Giles, Willow and Tara sat in Giles living room the five each had a book. Everyone was searching for something that would allow them to find away to keep Grace from entering Buffy's dreams.
"I think I've got something." Tara held up a book.
"Aw yes the ring of amore. A powerful ring that when blessed is used to link its wearers thoughts and dreams to its one true love."
"How cute can I have one Faith."
"Whatever you want B. G-man can I get one of those."
"Well the ring hasn't been seen since the cruxcifiction of Jesus."
"Whoa the wholly man wore it."
"No actually it was given to Mary Magdeline she was the last person to have worn since then it was counted as myth."
"Sorry B. No ring."
"But that does give me an idea. Tara you and Willow have been working on a few charm spells. Correct."
"Yes."
"Good I need a topaz stone in the shape of a heart. and a gold band. Buffy's engagement ring will suffice." Handing over the ring the two slayers watched as the three performed the ritual.

As a light began to encompass the room the ring began to glow rising from the table it hovered towards Buffy. As she extend her arm the ring slid on her finger.
"Isn't that my job." Faith said mock seriously. The two embraced. Before the happys could be savored the door was burst open by a thunder bolt.
"And I just had that fixed." Giles said as he pulled himself up from the floor.
Entering into the room Grace moved with a predatory nature she was so much like Glory yet there was a more menacing approach to her stare and stature.
"Buffy you can either come with me or I can kill everything in this room. The choice is yours."
"Then I choose them."
"So be it." Sending a pulse of enegry thru her hand it shot out towards Buffy raising her hand the ring absorbed the energy turning it back on Grace. As she combusted into flames.
"Who's got the marshmellows." Faith said as the watched her scream as the floor opened up she was taken into her own hell.
"Who's going to pay for that door." Giles wailed.
"Anyone for some bronzing." Willow asked as she shimmied over to Tara.
"Not us we've got kids who need tending too." Buffy said as she took Faith's hand.
"Let's go home."
"I'll second that." Leaving the two headed home.
Entering the house they found Dawn and Joy passed out on the sofa.
"Mom, where did you two disappear to?"
"Just a little world saving."
"Wow cool ring Buffy. Where did you get it?"
"Right this Joy here."
"What am I supposed to do with this."
"Jeez kid what do I gotta draw you a map. Ring girl."
"Dawn I uh... will you wear my ring."
"You didn't have to ask." Dawn said as she fell into Joy's arms.
"Joy don't break her.."
"Faith." Buffy screamed as she drug her out of the room. "Come on B, that slayer stamina is killer admit it you love it."
"Yeah well I'm glutton for punishment." As the two slayers ascended up the steps a new love was being born downstairs.
