I’m not in Love. No, no. I’m not in love. No.no.no. I’m not in love. It’s because I’m not in love. So don’t forget it. It’s just a semi phase I’m going thru. AND Just because I call you up don’t get me wrong and think you’ve got it made. I’m not in love.
I’m not in love. No way, I’m not in love with Miss holier than thou Buffy Summers. It’s not going to happen not here not now not ever. So why am I here. I’m in prison over some girl. Now that’s classic. But I’m not in love.
They just don’t get it. I’m the slayer. I have more on the line than most but I’m always missing out on something. If death is my gift then I’ve been living a lie all my life. I’m not here to help. Just to destroy. Maybe instead of Faith I should be in jail. Yeah me in the big house. There would be justice in that how I’m not sure. God what is that.
“LooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEEEEE. I’M NOT IN Love. No.no. I’m not in love. I’m not in love.” No this is not happening. I know what I have to do. Buffy walked over to Dawn. “Dawn I have to go. Tell everyone goodbye.” “Buffy nooo.”
Buffy fell thru the portal. Exiting on the other side. Buffy Summers body fell to the ground. Void of breath and life she was pronouced dead.
“Faith you are free to go.” Faith looked up at the tall English men standing in front of her. She knew this was real but she couldn’t believe it was happening she was out. But at the price of what. There was a nagging feeling eating at her what it was she couldn’t place. She had tried to call Angel but was advised not to by the English man. She knew then what was wrong it was Buffy. She had to get to Sunnydale.
Faith was on the last bus to Sunnydale it was well after midnight. Yet she hoped B wouldn’t mind. As the bus pulled into the station. Faith knew there was something really wrong. Walking into the small town. She began to head towards the cemetery. She wasn’t even aware where she was going. Standing at a tombstone she stopped to read the name. “Joyce Summers.” “Joyce. No.“ It was then that Faith looked to the tomb next to Joyce’s. She was on her knees as she tried to hold herself together. The tears started to fall as the heavens opened up.
Laying on the ground. Faith’s anger swam to the surface as she began clawing at the mud. “No. Not this way. B you're not dead it doesn’t work this way. What is that.” "LLLLLLLOOOVVVVEEEEE. LLLLLOOOVVVVVEEEE.” “No. I’m not in Love.” “LLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOVVVEEEEEE. LLLLLLLLLOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEE.”
“I’m nootttttt inn lllllllloooooovvvvveeeeeee.”
“LLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEEEEE.” Faith lay in a heap crying. It was barely audible. But someone heard it. “I love you.”
The ground began to shake. A white light shot from the sky. Passing thru Faith as it went into the ground. The ground parted sending the younger slayer skidding thru the mud. Fatih was laying on Joyce’s grave. She was unconcious for the moment. A hand rose from Buffy’s grave grasping at the wet mud. Buffy began to pull herself up. Kneeling in the cool mud she let the rain wash over her.
Buffy caught a form lying in the ground next to her. Crawling to the other body. She noticed they weren’t breathing. Buffy began CPR. A few minutes later. Faith was coughing up water. “B.” “Yeah.” “Is this heaven?” “No.” “What is it?” “Sunnydale.” “I knew it Sunnydale is hell.” Buffy looked to the other girl covered in mud and just smiled.
The two headed to Buffy’s house to get changed. The scoobies were probably sleeping. And Giles was probably knocked out from Dawn. The two slayers decided they would call them in the morning.
As Faith walked out of the bathroom. Buffy couldn’t help but admire the younger girl. Faith had attributed a leaner muscular body during her stint in prison. The water factor only attributed to her sexyness. “Hey B.” Faith said waving a hand in Buffy’s face.
Buffy‘s eyes were now locked on Faith.
“LLLLLLLOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE.” “Huh? Did you say something.” “I was calling you. Are you okay? You seem a little distracted.”
“LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE.” “I’m not.” “Not what distracted.” “No, yes.” “Well B make up your mind.”
“LLLLLLLOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEEE. No, no. I’m not in Love. LLLLLLLLOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEE. I’M NOT IN LOVE.”
“Huh?” “Hey. Maybe you should get some sleep. I mean being dead probably takes a lot out of you.” Faith said giving a half smirk. Buffy just nodded her head. The two hadn’t actually come up with a sleeping arrangement. Yet neither opted for not sleeping in Buffy’s bed together.
The following morning Faith awoke to something she had never stayed around long enough to experience. Buffy was draped on top of Faith. She was snuggling the other slayer. A few minutes later Buffy awoke. Looking wide eyed she realized what she had done. Then she heard it again. “LLLLLLLOOOVVVVEEEEEEE.” Not really wanting to move away from the warmth. Buffy got up and began to leave. Faith watched the older slayer leave. She knew this was not right but she couldn’t deny it anymore. She was in love and so was Buffy she just had to make her realize it.
After Faith got dressed she headed down stairs. Walking into the kitchen Buffy was making breakfast. “So B you want to talk about it?” “What?” “You.” “Me?” “Come on B, there’s something wrong. You need to talk about it.” “There’s nothing to talk about.”
“LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVEEEEEE.” Buffy dropped the bowl she had been holding as she placed her hand over her ears. She began to slide down the wall. Faith was at her side in an instant. “I’m not.” “Not what.” “I’m not. I’m not. In Lo..” “LLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEE.” “Faith what’s happening.” “Shh. This.” Faith placed a kiss on Buffy’s forehead. Then her nose. As she kissed her lips. It all came together. “I am in love. LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEEEE.”
“Faith.” “I know.” “We need to tell the other’s.” “Well which one do we tell em first. You or you and me.” “I think we go with me. Then us.” "Works for me.”
Buffy and Faith stood outside Giles. Both a little scared about going in. Each with their own reasons of fear. As they walked in. Slience greeted them first. Then hysteria. Then awe. “Buffy. You alive.” “You're alive.” “Okay with the alive. I know.” “You dead.” "Yes Xander I was.” “Forgive him Buffy but you rose from your own deadness.” Everyone was now looking at Willow. “I COULDN’T SAY ASHES SHE WASN’T BURNED.” The red headed wiccan exclaimed as she raised her arms.
