Author's Notes: Let's get to the point.
It's not like I didn't know, So I did pretend. But come on you'd have to be delusional not to know there was something between those two. The barbs back and forth the way the looked at each other it wasn't that we were dumb or anything just, young. Yup we were all just young and dumb back in those.
Especially us her friends or at least that's how we looked ourselves, but truth be told we were jealous. Of everything her gifts her calling. We wanted to be heroes just like them, but no we ended up as just the scoobies. So when Faith came with her fancy-free attiude we shunned her and in doing so made Buffy lose the only one who understood her.
Now things have changed, and we need Faith even though she's pshycotic we need her to put Buffy back to normal the only problem is will she help. Knowing Faith the answer would be no. Yet maybe some part of her still cares.
She's standing inside the Hyperion that half smirk still sits on her face and she gives me the once over, as if she could care less about me. I know she doesn't but she was always good at the false pretenses, this time it's no diffrent. She glides up to me.
"So Red, you need my help." Not a question just a statement, and she knows we do. She just grins, and nods her head. That's it no threats no, no promises. She just nods.
When we get to SunnyDale she's quiet, just staring out the window, and for once I'm more scared of her than when she use to weild her dagger, she knows it too. She just keeps quiet I'm not sure what she's thinking but I can tell it's pretty serious.
We get to Buffy's and I try to threaten her but I don't have it in me and she knows she always knows. But it doesn't phase her she just goes for the front door.
I see the door open and Buffy's standing there, this half smirk. She rolls her eyes and let's her in.
"Long time no see B."
"Get in here."
"Red's still out there."
"Great."
"You don't sound too happy about that."
"Did you forget what today is?"
"No, but five years on the celibacy train is a long time even for you."
"Faith you didn't say anything to her did you?"
"B. I can keep a secret. I've kept you for six."
"Buffy I know you weren't expecting Faith, but we need her."
"Red I mean Will, it's ok. Faith's going to be on her best behavior right Faith?" Buffy said as she cast a look over to the brunette.
"If you say so B."
