Parker walked up to Buffy as she stood in line in the cafeteria he wasn't really a bad guy to look at considering. She had just gotten her heart trappled on by the would be love of her life and then ripped out by the only person she understood. Really life was screwy. So when the next words out of his mouth were party she couldn't help but smile.
Unbeknowest to both Buffy and her would be suitor Parker a dark haired beauty was just waiting for an opening to redeem herself with the blonde beauty. Faith had been in seclusion for awhile after the whole Mayor debacle and the coma she was just about ready to reveal herself to everyone but it was Buffy who she really wanted to see and be seen by first. Making her way from the window she returned to Angel's mansion she had fixed the place up it was actually a really nice place once you got rid of all the broody darkness and got some light in there. Opening the curtains she looked out over SunnyDale and she smiled. Being a vegetable for eight months is enough to drive a person up a wall. That however was here nor there she was actually in a good place right now and nothing was going to change that not even him.
"SO Buffy I can expect to see you tonight." Parker flashed a pair of pearly whites as he leaned in a bit closer. Smiling Buffy leaned back he was a little too close for comfort she just met the guy.
"Sure party sounds partie. Is that a word?"
"I don't know but coming from you it sounds great." Willow just looked on in silence. This guy was for real and that was the odd part he didn't even know he sounded lame.
"Um well I'll see you tonight, I've got a class." As he signalled he was leaving Buffy watched with a mixture of glee and sorrow. She really needed to get out and laid. If there was one thing she and Faith had in common it was hungry and horny. Buffy couldn't stop the pang in her heart as she thought about her. They had something that there really weren't any words for, it just was.
"Buffy why the long face you're going out tonight, and he seems like a nice enough guy."
"Yeah Wills nice enough." But he isn't her. Buffy sat for a minute longer playing with her food before she headed off to her next class leaving Willow to ponder what was bothering the other girl.
As the sun began its descent over the horizon, Buffy and Willow made their way to the campus party in Regars. The smell of sex, pot and beer wafted thru the air. Buffy went to find some place to sit as Parker watched her from the corner he was stationed at the refreshment table and was ready with two drinks in his hands as he advanced towards Buffy a girl he hadn't seen before danced around him she grabbed the drink from his hands and swaggered over to the blonde. Taking a drink she leaned into the blonde and handed her the cup. Buffy thinking it was Wills took a sip. Swallowing she looked up to thank Willow when she came to face with that smile.
"Hey B. Long time know no see." Before Buffy could react Faith took the cup and drank some more. She didn't know what to say so she finished the cup grabbing Faith by the arm she dragged her outside. "Whoa slow down. It's still early." The two were outside away from prying eyes when Buffy finally spoke.
"Where did you... No what....When did you....." Exasperated she threw up her hands.
"You forgot the How and the Why. But I wanted to tell you first before anything else happened that I was awake."
"No one called or I didn't get the message."
"You didn't get the message. B, I was fucked up after us and I didn't know how to deal it's not an excuse it's the truth we you and me are right for each other and it's just that simple."
"Faith I...."
"Shhhh." Taking Buffy in her arms she down and brought the older girl's lips to meet hers. They kissed their first kiss, in what had felt like years. When they finally parted they were both in a state of bewilderment.
"I feel funny Faith."
"Damn I'm good." Faith grinned back at her.
"No I really fell funny."
"B it wasn't even a whole, hold that the room's spinning."
"We're outside."
"I know."
"We better get Wills."
"NO." Looking at Buffy something changed. Moving in she began to sniff her Buffy stood motionless let her. Then she started to touch her. Buffy began pawing at the other girl. Picking her up Faith threw Buffy over her shoulder as she began to head away from the campus. Entering the mansion Faith carried her over the threshold. Placing her down Buffy looked at her oddly.
"Mine." Faith pointed to Buffy's breasts.
"Yours." Buffy just nodded.
Grunting Faith grabbed her as the two headed upstairs. Buffy watched as the brunette took the stairs two at a time she had and excellent view of the other girl's butt. As they entered the room Faith set the smaller girl down.
"MINE."
"Yours."
"GOOD." Faith pounced on her kissing her and touching her all over ripping the clothes as she went a long time later the two laid spent on what was left of the bed. Moving closer Buffy laid atop Faith.
"Mine."
"Yours." Faith replied.
