Isn't it Funny?

Disclaimer: The characters of Buffy and Faith are the sole creation and possession of Joss Whedon. This story however, is mine. Sorry Joss. I own my own imagination.
Occasion: This is specifically for Val's PWP Passionate Oasis Fest. I'd been feeling largely uninspired until this story idea hit me. I hope everyone enjoys.

"Faith what the hell are we doing?" Buffy asked as they weaved carefully between the myriad of street vendors.

"I told ya, B. We're getting some real Chinese food for a change. Not that American crap that they lead you to believe is Chinese. Trust me, my watcher brought me here once, and it's great. It was the only place that she and I went that was out of country. She wanted me to study some obscure kung fu style for a month or so."

"That's pretty cool." Buffy said. "So, in regards to the restaurant, ordering General Tso's chicken?"

"Would probably get you laughed out of the restaurant." The brunette countered.

"So then it would probably be a good idea to let you order?"

"I think that would be safe."

Chao Ahn was thankful to be home. With her training completed, she pretty much knew that her station would be back home in China. In all honesty, it was good, as more people spoke her native language here.

When Buffy and Faith had presented her to her new Watcher, they had entered a long training hall. The floor was polished pine and so were the walls, and at the end of the hall sat an elaborately crafted oak chair. In it, sat Chao Ahn's new Watcher, who nodded his gray haired head politely.

"-Chao Ahn nui heai?-" he said, ignoring both of the other girls completely. From this, they knew that this older gentleman was a very different Watcher than Giles. What was in store for the Chinese native was a life of discipline and training. However she seemed more than comfortable with that.

"Nei hei" she had said, bowing deeply and presenting herself to her Teacher. The billowing sleeves of her loose, frog buttoned top splayed delicately to each side as her hands came together, her left hand encircling the right fist. It was the Chinese symbol for diligence and hard work; most call it 'Kung Fu'. In Japanese tradition the same gesture meant that one may train for war but prefers peace. As funny as she may have been during her months in Sunnydale, it was apparent that this girl was all about tradition.

Buffy and Faith had shrugged at each other and then bowed politely in respect. The old man had responded with a nod of his head, and then he said in broken English:

"You may leave."

That was it. So much for formality.

The two oldest Slayers finally rounded the edge of the market district noting the difference between the lights and loud voices, to the immediate silence and illuminated signs that signified a business here or there. Two blocks later, they encountered a sign, that according to Faith, just meant 'Food'.

Entering the small establishment, they were both treated to neon shades of red and green, that were accentuated with signs for a bevy of Chinese and Japanese beers.

"C'mon man. This place is totally sold out." Buffy said. "Neon and beer?"

"Give it a chance." Faith said. "Their food is above par." She accentuated it with her index and thumb circled and a short wink.

They were seated and a short banter went on between Faith and the waiter. Buffy had no idea what was said but let it go and just trusted her fellow student.

She wasn't sorry. The food was truly exceptional; chicken with diced vegetables and surprisingly no rice. "In traditional Shanghai cooking, there is not much starch." Faith had said. "That's Mandarin style."

Buffy resigned herself to the fact that, as much as she had been through in her life, she still had a lot to learn and dug in heartily.

With their bellies full and their appetites sated, they decided to resign to their respective hotel rooms and wait for their flight in the morning. The door opened, once again exposing them to the brisk night air and they walked back in the direction they had come.

"Hey Slayers!" an unwelcome voice called.

The two spun reflexively at the sound of the intrusive vampires. There were three. Their mistake though was getting backed into an alley.

"Hey back, you sons of bitches.." Faith said. She spun reflexively into a fighting stance.

Buffy ran forward, launching herself into the air and sailing into the closest opponent with her left foot. The vampire sailed back into the alleyway a full five steps before regaining his composure, only to be met with a hard backfist.

Damn, Faith thought as she moved in, her form was always better than mine.

The brunette moved forward, hard blocking a strike from her closest opponent then grabbing him and twisting her hand into the fabric of his khaki jacket.

"Fashion victim!" she yelled as she plunged her well concealed stake into his chest and watched him crumble to dust. She turned just in time to catch the sailing body that Buffy had sent over one shoulder.

"Catch!" the blonde yelled. Faith just reflexively held her stake out. The only thing that hit her was a cascade of dust.

"So what's this stuff?" Buffy asked.

"Dunno." The brunette answered, handing her the glass. "These Chinese folks called it 'Ho Shu'."

Buffy took a long gulp. It was strong. Really strong. The blonde felt it burn down her throat and finally settle into a nice warm spread through her stomach. She sat down on the bed which she shared with her fellow Slayer and relaxed.

"Good huh?" the brunette asked, leaning back against the headboard holding her own glass.

"It's pretty sweet." Buffy said, taking another sip and leaning back.

"So are you sexy." Faith said, before she shut herself up.

Their hotel room was beyond exceptional. Giles being in charge of the Watcher's council was a definite change from what they were used to.

Buffy was silent for a second and then finally had to speak up, looking up from her glass. "Faith are you Bi?"

Faith looked back at her. "Yeah, why do you ask? You didn't know that already?"

"Actually no, I didn't know for sure. But I figured, with your sex drive and all."

Faith shrugged her shoulders. "Hey baby, I gotta have it all. I can't believe that you didn't know about me and Molly."

"Molly?" Buffy asked "Holy shit!!"

"Yeppers."

They sat in silence for another 5 minutes at least, both taking sips intermittently from their glasses.

Finally Buffy spoke, her body still glistening from the shower she had taken.

"Faith?" she asked. "Do you find me attractive?"

Faith half grinned and let the towel fall from her body when she heard that. "You're the most attractive woman that I've ever seen, B."

She moved forward and kissed Buffy, just one time. "Have you ever? With a girl?"

"No," the blonde answered. "But I want to. I've thought a lot."

"Ok….. as long as you're good with this."

Faith slid Buffy's lace panties down over her legs and to her ankles, kissing down her thighs.

"Ever thought about this before?" the brunette asked.

"Yeah. I thought about it with Willow. No offense." It was barely more than a gasp.

"Well now it's real. None taken." She sank her face into Buffy's shaven core, immediately sucking the clit into her mouth and strumming it back and forth with her tongue.

"Oh baby…c'mere..cmere, cmere…"

Buffy's arms opened and were filled with Faith even before she climaxed.

"What's up baby?"

"Nuthin'. Just really woozy and happy. Happier than I've been in a long time."

Faith snuggled into her shoulder.

"By the way babe. You are attractive. Damn much so, and tonight was a dream come true."

The End
