Faith pulled Buffy's small frame over herself as they kissed.

*I can't deal with this B. I'm sorry. It's not you.* The note she left was short but gave an explanation for her total disappearance. When the blonde awoke alone, at least she would have that much.
With everything she owned packed and ready, she took one last look at the blonde who still lay sleeping in her bed.
"I'm sorry, B," she said before closing the door and walking to the bus station and catching the first trip to Boston.
A tear slipped down her cheek as she walked away.
