What was it about the blonde that kept Faith so enthralled even as a vampire. Every human she drained had Buffy's face. Every dream she woke from left an aftertaste of a certain slayer. Every time she screwed someone, it was Buffy's voice she heard moaning her name. The demon in her had thought it was about time she did something about the situation.
Buffy's form stirred from where it'd crumpled onto the ground. Looked like Sleeping Beauty was about to wake up. Faith idly wondered how Buffy, the vampire would act as opposed to Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. After all, the Buffy she knew was all about duty, ideals, and all the better facets of human nature. She just couldn't picture those personality traits working too well in a demon.
The blonde sat up, fingers slowly probing the two puncture wounds on her neck that had since healed over, leaving no evidence of an injury having taken place.
"How're you feeling B?" Faith asked, getting the blonde's attention. She watched with no small amount of interest as verdant green eyes turned her way, piercingly cold in their assessment.
Buffy rose slowly onto her feet, eyes never leaving Faith---just the way both girls liked it. "How do you think I feel F?" She asked, not so much in anger as in irritation. "You turned me into a fucking vampire."
"Such language," Faith mocked, hopping down lightly onto the ground from the tombstone she'd been using as a chair. "Tsk, tsk. The slayer I know wouldn't use those kinds of words."
"You killed the slayer you knew," came the trite retort. She suddenly stretched, working out the kinks in her muscles and feeling the strangeness of the energy running through her body. "But that's all right Faith. I can be the forgiving type...once in a while. I'm feeling hungry. Let's eat."
Faith recognized the tone. Some things remained the same, no matter what happened. Buffy liked being in control and Faith would let her take the lead, for now.
The clerk made gurgling noises in the back of his throat. His eyes were starting to roll up into the back of his head. Based on those singular facts, it was not a pretty sight. But Faith couldn't keep her eyes off of the display cause this was Buffy's first kill. She leaned by the doorway, watching with avid eyes as the other girl fed, suckling like a baby at the man's neck. She knew how deeply the feeling ran. At the best of times, it was just a knawing, something to let you know that it was gonna get worse if you didn't find a meal soon. And once you did find that meal, once you tasted that blood on your tongue and felt it sliding down your throat, you realize there's no better feeling in the world.
She walked over, pulling Buffy away as they both let the body drop with a thud to the floor. "Never mind about the air conditioner honey," Buffy whispered to the already cooling corpse as they made their way out. "Up for a little trip Faith?" She asked, staring out into the night.
"Where to?" She knew the answer already without asking. Where else would Buffy want to go but to the shithole that every other demon had a hard on for?
Buffy gave her a sidelong glance. "Where else? Sunnydale." Reaching out a hand to run a finger down the front of Faith's chest, she asked, "You didn't have anywhere else to be, did you?"
Faith grinned. She caught the wandering digit in one hand, bringing it slowly to her lips where she gently kissed it. Never taking her eyes off of Buffy, she caught the slightest dilation in the blonde's pupils as she sucked on the finger, letting her tongue slide over the cool flesh. She was caught by surprise when Buffy roughly pushed her back against the wall with her other hand and took her trapped finger back, only to replace it with her mouth. It wasn't a kiss so much as a power play, meant to announce exactly who was in charge. But two could play at that game as Faith flipped them around, this time, pinning Buffy against the wall and starting a slow grind, rubbing their hips together. She kissed and licked along Buffy's jaw line, hesitating at the neck to graze her teeth against the pliant flesh out of habit. Her hands traveled lower, slipping over painfully erect nipples, stopping only long enough to tease them further before moving around Buffy's waist to dip into the back of her shorts. The scent of their arousals mixed together causing her to move her hips faster, trying to get better friction.
Buffy's hands tightened their grip in her hair, roughly pulling her head back up to seek her lips. And as they fucked their brains out not ten feet from a bloodless corpse, Faith couldn't help but think that this world was gonna be in for a shitload of trouble cause who the hell was gonna be stupid enough to stand against them now?
Faith walked behind the slight blonde, nearly hypnotized by the sway of hips and ass. This better not take too long, she thought, not relishing the idea of burning in the rapidly approaching light of dawn. They'd taken a plane to dear old Sunnydale around midnight and it was about five by now. Buffy had insisted on visiting some old friends as soon as they'd touched down. Faith had agreed only cause there'd been the promise of a sweet reward for her if she came along. She grinned at imagining what that could mean.
They stopped at some dinky apartment complex in town. Buffy knocked on one of the doors, and as Xander opened up, she smiled like she just ate a friggin canary. Faith watched from down the hall, impatiently pulling a drag from her cigarette.
"Buffy? What are you doing here? It's like five o'clock in the morning." He leaned against the door, a hand combing through his tangled hair trying unsuccessfully to tame the mess.
"Well, aren't you going to invite me in? I just got off the plane and you're the first person I wanted to see."
Xander yawned as he turned around, distractedly waving a hand. "Yeah, sure c'mon in Buff...so how goes the slayage in Texas?"
Faith immediately started walking towards the open doorway, her keen ears already picking up the first sounds of a struggle coming from within. She stopped and turned, her eyes surveying the room and its two occupants. Taking a last drag, she flicked the butt to the side. Her eyes locked with Buffy's, watching in growing desire as the blonde vampire fed, slowly draining the life's blood from Alexander Harris. Xander, facing the door as he was, saw the new arrival and his already dull eyes showed that he knew exactly what was going to happen to him.
Buffy stopped long enough to smile as a trickle of blood ran down one fang. "Here's your sweet reward," she said, her sweet, lilting voice a complete anachronism to the monster's face she wore.
"Say the magic words B," Faith said, changing into her vamp face as well and, as Buffy gave the invitation, she strode in, closing the door behind her.
Faith laid sprawled on the couch, idly ripping the insides from a stuffed animal she'd found lying on the foot of the bed in Xander's bedroom. Damn, she couldn't get over how lame the guy was. Tossing the bear aside, she sat up, bored to tears that there wasn't anything to do. That was one of the things she hated about being a vamp: you couldn't exactly walk out whenever the hell you felt like it, unless you wanted a severe case of sunburn.
"Feeling bored already Faith?" Buffy asked, coming up to wrap her arms around the brunette's shoulders.
Faith turned around to crouch on the cushion. "Got any suggestions to liven up the party B?" She asked, her eyes casting a glance over to Xander's corpse which was propped up in the corner. "It's feeling kinda dead around here." She brought her mouth to Buffy's collarbone, licking it and tasting the saltiness of sweat on her tongue. They were both as naked as jaybirds, whatever the heck that meant, having fucked on Xander's bed as soon as they'd sucked every last drop from the guy's body. And now, as Faith was looking for an encore performance, her head was caught by two strong hands. "What the fuck B?"
Buffy didn't answer as she walked over to the phone. Dialing in a string of numbers, she waited. As she talked, she tossed a wicked grin at Faith. "Hello Willow? Can you come by Xander's apartment as soon as possible?...No, nothing much. We just need to see you about something and it's better if we talk about it in person...OK, see you in a few." Hanging up, her grin turned into a full fledged smile. "Things won't be boring for long."
Faith returned the smile and beckoned the other girl over. "Jeez B. You sure know how to make a girl's day. Come here and I'll show you just how grateful I can be."
