to USC. I don't always wake up feeling this weird.

Buffy had had a good day. Just hanging with the gang enjoying summer. Now she was on her way home, get something to eat, changed and back out to her usual night.
Part of her night was kept secret from everyone else. Ever since she'd seen Faith lying in that hospital bed any hatred she felt had evaporated and she'd visited every night hoping that one night she'd find Faith awake.
"I'm home Mom. Just gonna get a shower."
"Buffy, Mr. Giles called. He asked that you call him back as soon as you got home. It sounded urgent."
"Okay Mom."
Buffy went upstairs to her bedroom and picking up the phone dialled the number.
"Giles, hi, what's so urgent it couldn't wait till tomorrow?"
"Buffy thank you for calling back. I thought you should know that the Council called me earlier."
"Giles that is just the sort of news I don't need. If they're still trying to get me to do what they want forget it, or is it another prophecy or apoclaypse?"
"Not exactly apoclayptic Buffy but I'm not sure how to tell you what they said."
"Giles stop avoiding the answer. What did they say?"
"A new slayer has been called."
