Faith suddenly kneeled in front of Buffy. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a black velvet box. "Buffy will you marry me?"
At the same time on the other side of the room Tara pulled out a light gray box and took out a ring. Willow suddenly felt light headed. Then Tara started talking.
"Will will you marry me?"
"Will are you ok?" Tara asked as she stood up feeling nervous now because of Willow's silence.
"Huh...yea...uh what did you just ask me?" Willow asked as she tried to process everything.
"Are you ok?"
"No before that?"
"I asked you if you would marry me." Tara said as she held out the box with the ring in it.
"Does the offer still stand?" Willow asked smiling.
"Of course." Tara said suddenly feeling happy.
"Well my answer is yes." Willow said as she grabbed Tara and hugged her. Tara pulled away and took Willow's hand and slipped the ring on her finger. Willow started kissing her happily.
"Of course I will baby!" Buffy said as she pulled Faith up to her. Faith slipped the ring onto Buffy's finger and kissed her hand. "I love you so much Faith."
"And I love you B" Faith said as she gave Buffy the sweetest kiss they have ever shared. Buffy looked at the ring.
"It's beautiful baby how could you afford this?"
"Some cash from the mayor and I've been secretly working." Faith said as she caressed Buffy's face.
"Oh, I've gotta show everyone." Buffy said as she held out her hand and admired the ring. For the first time since dinner Faith suddenly remembered about Tara. She looked over to see them hugging and noticed a ring on Willow's finger.
"I guess she said yes." Faith said under her breath.
"Huh?" Buffy asked confused. Faith nodded over to Will and Tara. Buffy saw the ring and started jumping up and down.
"Will, Will!" Buffy yelled as she ran over and hugged Willow. "Look!" Buffy said as she held out her finger.
"It's beautiful." Willow said as she held out her hand. "Look at mine."
"We are the luckiest women alive." Buffy said as she hugged Willow.
"We sure are." She said as she hugged Buffy back. Tara and Faith were looking on with huge smiles on their faces.
Anya and Xander were laying in bed when they heard something from the other room.
"What was that?" Xander asked.
"I dunno." Anya said as she clutched his arm. Xander got out of the bed and went to the door.
"I'll be right back stay here." He said as he opened the door. He slowly made his way over to the other room where the noise was coming from. When he opened the door he saw a sight that sent him into shock.
Xander walked back into the other room where Anya was at. "What's wrong?" Anya asked noticing the way he looked. He just walked over and layed on the bed trying to find words to tell her.
"Co..rdy...and...Angel together..." Xander trailed off as he remembered what happened last time Angel was together like that with some one.
"Wha...oh but didn't he turn all bad and kill half the class last time that happened." Anya asked suddenly realising why Xander was looking like he was. They layed there thinking of what to do.
Kate and Gunn entered their cabin to find Wes and Giles' reading what looked like a very dull book.
"Hey guys." Gunn said as he and Kate walked over to them before heading to their bedroom.
"So what shall we do to pass the time." Kate asked as she seductivly took off her jacket.
"Oh I'm sure we can think of something." Gunn said as he moved over to where she was standing. Kate pushed him onto the bed and went to the bathroom to get something and returned. "What is that for?" Gunn asked suddenly very afraid.
"OH this I left it in the bathroom and decided if I didn't get it out know I'd forget it." Kate said as she placed the gun in its holster.
"Oh" Gunn said relieved.
"Were you scared or something?" Kate asked.
"UH...no of course not," he said stumbling over his words.
"Sure" Kate said as she got into the bed beside him.
"So where were we?" Gunn asked as he kissed her.
Comments: Someone from the past is coming back.
"How'd we ever get so lucky?" Faith asked Tara.
"I don't know, but I thank whoever did it."
"Me too." Faith said as she couldn't stop smiling. "Hey did ya'll forget about us?" she asked as she looked at Will and Buffy.
"Not in a million years." Buffy said as she walked over to Faith.
"We were just caught up in the moment." Will said as she hugged Tara.
"So you really like it?" Faith asked Buffy as she held her hand and looked at the ring.
"Yes I love it." Buffy said and then gave Faith a kiss. They all stayed togther talking a little longer then headed to their own rooms.
BACK IN SUNNYDALE
"What was that?"
"I don't know, but that bitch ain't getting away with this."
"I second that."
"Past set aside let's work together on this I think we'd be better as a team instead of by ourselves."
"Agreed." They shaked hands and left the pile of rubble and set out to find a place to start working.
Xander woke first and walked out of his room to see Angel sitting on the couch. He cautiously walked to him. "I saw you last night. SO tell me now are you evil."
"No Will found a spell to get rid of that little set back."
"Oh ok." Xander said as he walked out of the room and back in with Anya.
Will, Tara, Buffy, and Faith all walked out of their rooms at the same time both looking very tired. "I guess we'll have to be packing later since this is our last day here." Willow said as she walked into the kitchen to get some breakfast.
"Yea I guess so." Faith said. "So did you have fun?"
"It was the best I've ever had." Buffy said before kissing Faith.
"I can't wait to see everyone and show off our rings." Willow said as she held her hand out to look at it again.
"I know let's hurry then and go wake everyone." Buffy said. After about 20 minutes they all walked out of the cabin and headed to Angel's cabin to share the good news.
"Hey guys." Angel said as he opened the door.
"Hey can we come in?" Buffy asked.
"Sure." Angel said and moved aside to let them in.
"Can you get Cordy and the rest of the guys we have an announcement to make." Willow said.
"Yea" Angel said and walked to the rooms to get the rest of the guys. When everyone was in the room Willow made the announcement.
"Me and Tara are engaged."
"We are too." Buffy said as she held up her ring.
"They're gorgeous." Cordy and Anya said as they looked them over.
"Congrats guys." Xander and Angel said as they hugged them.
"Thanks guys. Would ya'll like to come with us when we tell the others?" Faith asked.
"We need to finish packing so you go ahead without us." Xander said.
"Ok let's go guys." Tara said as she grabbed Willow's hand. They all left and headed for the other cabin.
LATER THAT NIGHT
"So good ol' SunnyDale." Faith said as they passed the 'Welcome to Sunnydale' sign.
"Yep back in town." Buffy said as she layed back down on Faith's shoulder. When they got to Buffy's house everyone went their separate ways.
"We attack them when they least expect it."
"Yes I agree."
"Have we got all the necessary equipment?"
"Yes we are ready to go."
"So what are we going to do on our first day back?" Faith asked as she gave Buffy a quick kiss before she got up to get ready.
"Well I think we should tell my mom about us being engaged." Buffy said.
"Are you sure?"
"Yea."
"Well I guess we need to."
"Yea I owe her that much." Buffy said as she got out of the bed and walked over to Faith.
"When you're ready." Faith said as she put her arms around Buffy's waist.
"Ok." Buffy said as she released Faith and finished getting ready not quite sure how her mother is going to react.
"We attack tommorrow night."
"At sundown."
"We take down the slayers. One rule."
"What's that?"
"I get the brunette."
"No problem."
Comments: I'm changing the title because please forgive me fits it better. It's after a Bryan Adams song.
"Look what I came across!"
"What?"
"Look."
"This is excellent we shall use this and postpone the attack until after we see what will happen."
"Hey how bout I go get us some lunch?" Faith asked Buffy.
"That sounds good."
"What would you like?" Faith asked as she got up from her spot on the couch.
"It doesn't matter whatever you bring back." Buffy said as she released Faith's hand so she could leave. Buffy watched as Faith left then got up *I guess I can check the mail and then debate on how to tell mom about us since she wasn't here.* She walked out the door and went to the mail box. She pulled out 3 envelopes. *Mom, Mom, Me.* Buffy opened the package on the way back in and pulled out three polariods. She sat back on the couch before looking at them.
*Hmmm...who would send me pics* "OHMYGOD...NO." She said out loud in a panicked voice. She looked down at the pictures and saw Tara and Faith engaged in a more than friendly kiss. She looked at the second one and saw them dancing together and in the third one Faith had her hands on Tara's waist. She began to cry mumbling "no..no..no" over and over. Then she realized something *Faith went out a lot before we went on our trip and Willow said Tara was gone on some of the same times. How could she do this to me?* Buffy got off the couch and ran upstairs.
Faith walked in the front door and almost tripped over something. She looked down and noticed it was her stuff and it was in a bag.
"B what's going on?" she asked when she caught sight of Buffy walking into the room. Her eyes were red from crying. "Oh God what's wrong?" Faith asked as she ran over to Buffy.
"Stop don't touch me." Buffy yelled. Faith suddenly jumped back.
"B what happened? Did I do something?" Faith asked on the verge of tears.
"I want you out of my house now!!" Buffy screamed at her.
"What?" Faith asked then broke out in tears.
"And take this with you." Buffy said as she took off her ring and threw it at Faith.
"Buffy what..?" Faith began before Buffy cut her off.
"Get out now before I throw you out." Buffy screamed. Faith turned and picked up here bags and the ring on the floor and left the house. Buffy fell to the floor in tears. Faith stood outside the door a minute before she left and went to find a place to stay.
"I'm coming" Willow said as she answered the door to see a crying Faith. "My God what happened?" Willow asked as she pulled Faith in the door.
"Buffy threw me out and threw this at me!!!" Faith said holding up the ring.
"My God I'm so sorry Faith what happened between ya'll?" Will asked truly concerned.
"I don't know I went out to get us some lunch and when I came back she was mad and threatened me and then threw me out with my bags and her ring." Faith tried to explain threw sobs.
"You have no idea why she'd do that?"
"None I didn't do anything. God Will what am I going to do she was my world."
"Sssh it'll be ok I promise." Willow said as she comforted her. Willow held the younger girl for several minutes before she felt her breathing even out and was in a deep sleep.
"Hold on I'm comin." Buffy said before opening the door.
"Buffy we need to talk." Willow said as she walked into the house.
"Bout what?"
"Faith." Willow said turning to face her.
"Yes we do I think there's something you should see." Buffy said as she left the room to get the polariods. "Take a look at these." Buffy said handing the pictures to her.
Willow took them and looked through them with a look of uncertainty on her face.
"This is why you called off the engagement?" Willow asked handing the pictures back to Buffy.
"What? Didn't you see them?" Buffy asked surprised at Willow's calm state.
"Yea I saw them Tara told me about it the night after it happened."
"What?" Buffy asked shocked that Willow knew and was ok with it.
"They were both buzzed and Faith was trying to teach Tara how to dance and one thing led to another and before they knew it they kissed but it only lasted a few seconds and they both regretted it after it happened." Willow explained.
"So you just forgave her?"
"Yes why shouldnt I?"
"Because she betrayed you."
"She did no such thing I know that she loves me more than anything and Faith feels the same for you. You should have seen the way she was when she came to my door last night. She was destroyed." Willow said as Buffy suddenly realized what she had done. "Buffy you're her everything her world her life she lives for you." Buffy started crying and Willow just held her until she calmed down. "Talk to her Buffy she needs you. I'm not sure what she will do if you don't."
"God I'm an idiot. How could I just jump to conclusions like that without hearing her side of the story?"
"Buffy you were upset it happens. Now let's go you've got some apologizing to do."
"I can't not yet. Will you watch out for her. I need to do a few things first and some serious thinking."
"Sure but don't wait too long." Willow said as she gave Buffy one last hug before heading out and back to check on Faith.
When Willow got to her door she noticed that it had been kicked in. She ran into the room to find everything destroyed. "Faith." She called.
"WI...ll..help" Faith said from on the other side of the bed.
"God Faith." Willow said as she found Faith lying on the floor covered in blood. Will ran over to the phone and called 911.
"911 emergency."
I need an ambulance sent as fast as possible."
"There's one on its way" the lady said after Willow told her the address and what happened.
The ambulance arrived a few minutes later and Willow insisted on going with them.
"Is she going to be ok?"
"Mam we need you to backup so we can do our jobs." One of the nurses said as they took Faith into ER.
"OH God Buffy." Willow said realizing she had forgot to call her in all the excitement.
"Hello" Buffy said as she answered the phone.
"Buffy, Faith has been shot get to the hospital now..." Willow didn't finish her sentence before she heard the dialtone.
ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER
"Where is she!!??" Buffy asked frantically when she saw Willow.
"She's in surgery."
"What happened?"
"I'm not sure I found her lying on the floor covered in blood after I left your house I went straight home."
"This is all my fault." Buffy said as she started crying.
"No it's not." Willow said trying to comfort her friend.
"It is if I wouldn't have jumped to conclusions we'd still be together and happy." Buffy said crying harder.
"Buffy don't be so hard on yourself."
"But it's my fault."
"No it's not now go sit down and wait while I go call the others." Willow said as she went down the hall to find a phone.
"Hello." Xander said as he answered the phone.
"Xander it's me get to the hospital as quick as you can Faith's been shot." Before he could say anything Willow had already hung up.
"Anya get dressed we've got to go." Xander said as he ran through the house.
"Hello" Giles said as he answered the phone.
"Giles get to the hospital now there's been an accident and please call the other guys I've gotta get back to Buffy." Willow said as she hung up the phone.
*Oh God what's wrong* Giles thought as he began to call Angel.
"Willow what happened is Buffy ok?" Giles asked panicked as he spotted her.
"Yes Buffy's ok just a little shaken up but Faith's in surgery she's been shot."
"Oh God who how?"
"I don't know."
"Where's Buffy?" Giles asked wanting to see his slayer.
"Over here." Willow said as she took him to her.
"Buffy I'm so sorry." Giles said as he hugged her. Buffy just cried in his arms.
"What's going on?" Angel asked as he burst through the door.
"Faith's been shot." Willow explained when everyone was in the room.
"How?"
"I'm not sure I just found her lying in my floor when I went back to check on her."
"Why was she at your house and where's your ring?" Anya asked looking at Buffy's bare finger. Buffy just started to cry harder.
"Anya now's not the time." Willow said as she walked over to Tara. "We need to talk" Willow whispered in her ear.
"Sure." Tara said caressing her check.
"Buffy we'll be right back ok?" Willow said as she grabbed Tara's hand and led her into another room of the hospital.
"What's up?" Tara asked when they were in the other room.
"You remember that night you and Faith kissed?"
"Yea I explained that to you."
"I know someone sent pictures to Buffy of the two of you."
"Who would do such a thing?"
"I don't know but I'm going to find out."
"I'll help in any way I can." Tara said as she grabbed Willow's hand.
"I know but there's more Buffy called of the engagement. That's why Faith was at the house in the first place. She was so broken Tara I was so scared of what she'd do then when I came home and found her I was so scared. What if she doesn't pull through? Do you know what that'd do to Buffy?"
"She's going to be fine." Tara said trying to cheer Willow up a little.
"I hope so." Willow said as she walked back into the other room.
