Please Forgive Me

"Buffy I'm home." Joyce said as she opened the door and walked into the house. She noticed articles of clothing all around the house. What's happened here? She thought to herself. She walked up the stairs grabbing clothes when she came to a pair of leather pants. *Faith?* She hurriedly went to her daughter's room and opened the door. When she could see into the room she saw Buffy cuddled up to Faith on the bed each had their arms around the other. Joyce smiled at just how good they went together dark and light. Joyce just laid their clothes on a chair and left the room.
About ten minutes later Joyce heard a knock on the door. "Willow come in," she said stepping back so she could get into the house. "Are you here to see Buffy?"
"Yea. She wanted to talk to me."
"Well she's upstairs asleep."
"Oh well I can come back later."
"You can go wake her if you'd like. I think what she wants to talk to you about is upstairs." Joyce said before leaving the room to cook for the girls tonight.
"Thanks." Willow said before going up to Buffy's room. When she got up to her room she knocked lightly on the door but there was no answer. She opened the door and went on in. She smiled at the sight before her. They just looked too peaceful to disturb. Willow took out a camera she just happened to have in her bag and took a picture to keep the moment. After she put the camera away she went over and gently shook Buffy. "Buffy wake up. Buffy."
"Huh…wha..Will?" she asked when she saw her.
"You wanted to talk to me?"
"Yea but I thought we agreed to talk later today."
"Buffy it's 6 o'clock in the evening."
"Oh we must have fell asleep." Buffy said turning to wake Faith. "Baby…baby wake up." She said gently shaking her.
"Just 5 more minutes." Faith said rolling over but never letting go of Buffy's hand.
"If you don't get up now I'm going to leave you here."
"I'm up" Faith said jumping up and falling onto the floor. Buffy and Willow started laughing at her. "Hey that wasn't funny." Faith said standing not noticing she was still nude. Willow blushed a deep red and turned quickly. "What..oh" Faith said finally noticing.
"I'm going to be right outside call me when you're decent." Willow said quickly leaving the room. Faith started laughing at how shy Willow was.
"Faith do you realize what time it is?"
"I'm assuming noon."
"Well you know what they say about assuming."
"Are you trying to be funny?"
"Maybe."
"Would you like me to help you get serious?" Faith said coming over to her and laying them back on the bed.
"Baby as much as I'd love that right now Willow is right outside the door." Buffy said getting up. "Now get dressed." Faith jumped up and saluted Buffy. "Oh smartass."
"You wouldn't want it any other way."
"True now get dressed." Buffy said as she went to find them some clothes.
"Ummm…B we kinda left our clothes through all over the house."
"But they're right here." Buffy said picking them up of the chair."
"How'd they get there?"
"I…oh mom." Buffy sail paling slightly.
"Well I guess it's time she found out." Faith said before grabbing the clothes and putting them on. About 15 minutes later they finally got dressed and walked out to find Willow and Joyce.
"As I'm sure you've guessed we're back together." Buffy said holding Faith's hand.
"I'm happy for you both." Joyce said.
"Me too." Willow added smiling.
"If you'll excuse me I've got to be getting to bed I've gotta get up early. Goodnight girls." Joyce said before kissing Buffy on the head and headed up the stairs.
"So back to this marriage thing." Buffy said looking over at Willow. "I think we should have a double wedding."
"That would be fun." Willow said.
"I'm sure this will be fun for you two but I'm going to go out for a little while maybe run a quick patrol or something." Faith said standing and giving Buffy a kiss before leaving.
"OK Bye baby be careful." Buffy said getting back to her conversation with Will.
"So what's the verdict?" Faith asked when she came back in and saw Willow and Buffy still talking about the wedding.
"We think we should have the ceremony as quick as possible like next weekend."
"Sounds good to me ya'll get everything done and I'll show up to do my part." Faith said before heading upstairs.
"So back to this next Saturday at noon in a field." Willow said.
"Well we have a lot to be doing then don't we."
"Yea and I'm guessing Faith and Tara aren't going to be much help." Buffy said smiling.
"Tomorrow we can go look for our dresses and decorations so we can be ready by Saturday."
"Yea it'll be hard but they're worth it."
"Well I guess we should call it a night."
"Yea I'll call you tomorrow and we can get started." Buffy said getting up and walking Willow to the door before walking up to her room.
THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING
"You can't stay with me tonight." Buffy said pushing Faith away.
"And why not?" Faith said pouting.
"We can't see each other the night before we get married it's tradition."
"Why don't we start our own tradition?"
"Faith it's just one night."
"But it'll feel like an eternity."
"Well just think about this the wedding night is tomorrow and we'll be all alone with no one to bother us."
"OK OK where am I supposed to stay?" Faith asked finally giving in.
"You can stay with Tara at her place and Will will stay here with me."
"How about a kiss before I go?" Faith said walking over to her.
"Faith go." Buffy said pointing to the door forcefully.
"OK already I'm going." Faith said before walking out the door.
LATER THAT NIGHT
"Well Tara I guess it's just us tonight."
"Yea but this time I think we should stay in don't want anything to happen like last time."
"I hear you that got me put into a coma again." Faith said walking over to a chair.
"So are you nervous?" Tara asked going to sit on the bed.
"No..ok maybe..ok totally..I've never been this nervous in my life."
"I know how you feel."
"Just so you know I'd like to thank you for helping me with everything." Faith said looking at Tara.
"No problem my pleasure."
"So what's there to do?" Faith asked wanting to get onto another subject.
"Well we can watch t.v. or well that's about it."
"Ok let's see I guess we watch some t.v. then." Faith said before going to turn on the t.v. They sat in silence for the rest of the night before falling asleep.
"So I never thought this would be happening." Willow said.
"What do you mean?" Buffy asked confused.
"Us getting married together and especially to girls part."
"Yea two years ago if you would have asked me I would have said that it'd be me and Angel and you and Oz."
"Me too but I've never felt this way before not even with Oz."
"I know it's way more intense with Faith than it was with Angel."
"So are you ready?"
"Yea I actually am I miss her already."
"I miss my Tara too." Willow said pouting.
"It's only one night though then we have the rest of our lives with them no being apart." Buffy said. They talked on through the night about various things before finally falling asleep at about 2 in the morning.
Comments: I have no idea about the marriage laws but the way I have
them just goes with the story.

THE WEDDING DAY
"Faith are you ready yet?" Angel asked knocking on the door.
"Angel I need help." Faith said sounding like she was struggling.
"What's wrong?" Angel asked coming into the room.
"Could you zip my dress up?" Faith asked him. She was wearing a long black dress with spaghetti straps and a pair of black high heels to go with it. Her hair was up in a bun with two pieces hanging down in the back.
"Sure. You look great."
"Thanks."
"Hey what's the best man for?"
"I don't know?"
"Hey."
"No really Angel thank you for everything if it wasn't for you this day wouldn't be happening. I owe you my happiness."
"You don't owe me anything."
"Yes I do."
"Tell you what you go out there marry Buffy have a long loving marriage and we'll call things even." Angel said smiling.
"That's easy to do."
"Then hurry up so we can get this show on the road." Angel said before leaving the room.
"Will can I come in?" Xander asked.
"Yea come on in." Willow said as Xander walked in.
"You're beautiful." Xander said stopping when he saw her.
"Thanks." Willow said smiling.
"We're about ready to start."
"Ok I'll be ready." Willow said before Xander gave her a kiss on the cheek and left the room.
Angel and Gunn were standing on Buffy and Faith's side of the altar while Xander and Wes were on Willow and Tara's side. Kate was Buffy's maid of honor since Buffy said, "If it wasn't for you Faith would be in jail." Cordelia was Willow maid of honor even though they've had their share of problems they came together for this special moment. Joyce and a small number of relatives were in the small field waiting for the brides' entrances. Tara and Faith came out of their rooms and walked up to where they were supposed to stand. They both looked at each other and smiled. Tara had on the traditional white dress while Cordy was in a dark blue and Xander and Wes were in black tuxes. While Kate was in a pastel blue, Buffy's choice of course, while Angel and Gunn were all in white tuxes.
The organs began playing about 5 minutes after Faith and Tara came out. Everyone stood as Buffy and Willow exited their rooms and meet each other in the center of the aisle. Giles came up to meet them and started walking them down the red carpet used as the aisle. When he reached the end of the carpet he gave both a kiss before giving them away to their respected other. Giles went over to take his place behind the altar. Since they couldn't legally get married Giles was going to perform the ceremony for them. As he reached for his Bible the coupes joined hands and looked into the others eyes.
"We are gathered here today to wed these couples in holy matrimony." Giles said as he started. "Since this is not a legally binding wedding there will be a few changes, but it will be saw as real to everyone in this room. Willow do you take Tara as your wife to have and to hold until death do you part?"
"I do." Willow said slipping the ring onto her finger.
"Tara do you take Willow to be your wife to have and hold till death do you part?"
"I do." Tara said as she put Willow's ring on her finger. Giles turned to where Buffy and Faith were.
"Buffy do you take Faith to be your wife to have and hold until death do you part?"
"I do."
"Faith do you take Buffy to be your wife to have and to hold until death do you part?" Instead of answering the question Giles asked Faith put her hand on Buffy's cheek and asked her a question of her own.
"Are you ready?"
Buffy slowly opened her eyes and looked around the room not quite sure where she was.
"Buffy you're awake." Willow said running over to her when she came into the room.
"Will where am I?" Buffy asked confused.
"You don't remember?" Willow asked concerned.
"Remember what?"
"How you got here."
"The last thing I remember is being at my wedding."
"Your wedding. Buffy there has been no wedding."
"Where's Faith?" Buffy asked praying this was not happening.
"What?" Willow asked wondering why she had said that name.
"Faith you know where is she?"
"In prison where she belongs." Willow said getting angry at Buffy for continually asking about her.
"NO no NO" Buffy screamed as she started to cry. Willow was immediately at her side.
"Buffy it's ok. Calm down what exactly do you remember?" Willow asked.
"I can't not know." Buffy said crying herself to sleep.
Willow went to find the rest of the guys and tell them about Buffy. She walked into the waiting room and found Tara, Giles, and Xander.
"Hey guys Buffy's awake."
"What is she ok?" Giles asked getting up.
"I'm not quite sure she woke up and didn't remember anything and keep asking where Faith was." Willow said trying to explain.
"Why would she care where she's at?" Xander asked.
"I don't know after I told her she was in prison she keep saying no and cried herself to sleep."
"When she wakes up we need to find out what she knows and everything she thinks happened." Giles said getting concerned.
"I asked her and she said not right now that she couldn't" Willow said trying to explain.
"One of us needs to be there when she awakes." Giles said.
"Maybe I should call Riley." Tara said.
"I think that would be a good idea." Willow agreed.
When Buffy awoke the first thing she saw was Riley.
"What are you doing here?" She asked backing away from him.
"Willow called me and told me you were awake I rushed over as soon as I heard."
"Get out now."
"Buffy what's wrong?" Riley asked coming over to her.
"GET OUT NOW!!" she screamed.
"Buffy…"
"Now." Riley got the picture and walked out of the room to find Willow.
"Can you talk to her?" He asked when he found her.
"What happened?"
"She kept screaming and told me to get out."
"I'll try." Willow said as she walked back down to Buffy's room.
Willow entered Buffy's room and walked over to the bed to sit in the chair.
"Buffy what happened why don't you want Riley here?"
"Because he tried to kill my Faith."
"He never..your Faith?" Willow stopped when she caught the words.
"Yes we were engaged along with you and Tara." Willow smiled at the thought of her and Tara getting married but then the other soaked in.
"You and Faith were engaged?"
"Yes we were getting married and she put her hand to my cheek and asked if I was ready and then I wake up here." Buffy explained.
"Buffy you haven't seen or even talked to Faith since she was sent to jail." Willow said trying to get the story.
"But she came back and we made up and everyone forgave her and …" Buffy trailed off starting to cry.
"Buffy I'll go get Giles maybe he knows what has happened." Willow said leaving the room.
When Willow and Giles came back into the room Buffy told them the whole story making her and Willow cry but smile at some parts. After Giles had heard the whole story he explained that it could have been a shared dream or she just imagined the whole thing. Buffy wasn't happy with the answers she got, but vowed she would find Faith and tell her how she feels about her.
Faith awoke at the sound of a buzzer. When she realized where she was she felt sad.
"It seemed so real but I guess it was just another one of my fantasies." Faith said to herself as she went to start her normal routine.
