Comments: This is my first fic. It starts kinda slow but it gets
better I promise.

She stopped suddenly sensing something behind her. "Show Yourself" she said. Turning around she quickly blocked a punch coming straight for her head. She then made a quick sweeping kick and was straddling the person under her. When she got a clear look at the person under her she was startled to see who it was. "What are you doing here?" she asked half-stunned and in half terror.
ONE WEEK EARLIER
There was a buzz and the cell door was opened cautiously. "Let's go you're due in court," the guard said.
She walked over and was cuffed then they walked down the hall towards the exit. She was loaded into the car and then was driven to the courtroom. The attorneys were arguing over things she did not understand. "My client can not be held accountable for these crimes. There is the lack of evidence and she was a minor at the time they were committed."
"Being underage doesn't give you the right to murder people along with assaulting others," interrupted the state's attorney, Patrick Lanigan.
"There is no evidence that she committed these crimes she's being held for," Mr. Brigance said.
"You two stop these outbursts right now or I'll have you put out of this courtroom. I've heard enough to make my decision," Judge Van Buren said. "Miss Spencer, I have decided there is not enough evidence to hold you for any of the crimes you've been charged with. You are on probation for the next two years and will have to stay in the state of California your probation officer will explain all the restrictions to you. If you break any of the rules set you will be put back in jail with no further parole ever. So I suggest you behave."
"Thank you your honor I promise you will not see me under these circumstances again."
"I hope not. Court's adjourned," Judge Van Buren said.
"Well it looks like you're a free woman," Mr. Brigance said.
"Yea with about a hundred restrictions."
"Well at least no bars!"
"That's the good side, but sometimes I think I might want to come back."
"Hi, I'm Kate your probation officer." Kate said introducing herself and extending her hand.
"I'm Faith," she said as she took Kate's hand and firmly shook it.
"Well I'll leave you two alone so you can explain everything to her," Mr. Brigance commented.
"Thanks," Kate said as she turned and looked at him.
"I'll call later and see how things are going."
"Okay bye," Kate said as he turned and left. "Ready to go?"
"Yeah." They walked silently out of the building and got in Kate's Mustang.
They all said their "Hi's" and took a seat around the table in the library.
"So what's up?" Xander asked.
"Well we could have a problem." Giles said.
"What kind of problem?" Buffy asked.
"Well as you all know that with Adam still on the loose there's a lot to be done. We have to double training hours and try to figure something out to stop him before he hurts anyone else." Giles said as he looked at each of them.
"Well I'll try to find something tonight while I'm patrolling."
"That would be a good idea." Giles said.
"Well it's settled then I will patrol tonight while you guys try to find something useful here agreed?"
They all agreed and went their separate ways.
"So where are we headed?"
"You have to have a place to stay and a job so I decided you could stay at my house until we find something else for you," Kate said.
"You're just going to invite a psycho into you're house?" Faith said sarcastically.
"I don't think you're a psycho you were just confused and scared at the time."
"How would you know?" Faith snapped.
"I've seen it before."
"I guarantee you haven't seen anything like what happened before!"
"Try me!"
"I don't want to talk about it." Kate didn't push her to talk; they just rode the rest of the way in silence.
Buffy quickly ducked behind a tombstone as she watched the scene before her play out. "I can help you with your little problem if you help me with mine," Adam said.
"How do you plan to do that?" Spike asked skeptically.
"You help me and then I tell you how to remove the chip."
Spike thought about it for a moment then asked, "What do I have to do?"
"Get the slayer and her friends to trust you."
"That's easier said than done." Adam looked at him confused. "They don't exactly like me."
"They will if you give them information about the initiative and if not at least you'll keep them busy."
"How?"
"Well I'll show you an entrance and give you these disks."
"When?"
"Very soon." Buffy slowly got up and left the cemetery headed for the gang.
"Well this is it." Kate said.
"It's nice." Faith said.
"Thanks would you like me to give you the grand tour?" Kate asked sarcastically. Faith just gave her a smile. "You have a cute smile."
"Thanks yours isn't bad either." Faith said as Kate gave her a smile that reminded Faith of someone that no matter how hard she tried she just couldn't forget.
As Buffy entered the library she found Giles looking through some book, Xander half asleep on the table, Willow sitting next to Tara on the couch, Anya looking at Xander sleep, and Riley pacing around the room. "I have some interesting information for you all."
Giles looked up from his book and asked, "What did you find?"
"Well as I was patrolling I saw Adam…"
"What happened. Did he hurt you?" Riley interrupted.
"No I'm fine."
"So as you were saying." Giles said.
"Well I saw Adam talking to Spike…"
"Spike?" Riley interrupted again.
"Yes if you would let me finish I could tell you what happened." Riley apologized and sat by Xander at the table. "As I was trying to say Adam was talking to Spike in the cemetery. Adam wants Spike to gain our trust and he's going to get information from the initiative to keep us busy. So here's what were going to do…"
"This will be your room." Kate said opening a door and walking into a room.
"Thanks for everything you're doing for me I really appreciate it." Faith said.
"No problem just don't make me regret it."
"Don't worry I won't." They just smiled at each other. Kate continued the tour of the house.
"Angel Investigations" Cordelia said as she answered the phone. "Yes we can help you with that. Just give me details and we will get right on it." Cordy wrote down some things on a notepad and started back reading her magazine.
"So everyone knows what to do?" Buffy asked.
"Yea" everyone answered.
"Well let's get going then." Everyone stood to leave when there was a knock at the door. Buffy turned and looked at everyone then opened the door. "Spike, what do you want?" Buffy snapped at him.
"Love you too, pet," he returned.
"So what are you here for?" Xander asked.
"Well I have some information I thought you might be interested in."
"Which would be?" Buffy asked flatly.
"Well I know where an entrance to the initiative is I thought you might want to know where it is."
"Why are we supposed to trust you?" Willow snapped.
"Well I also have these" Spike reached into his pocket and pulled out two disks. Willow went over and took them from Spike then went to the computer where Tara joined her and inserted the disks.
"It's encoded" Willow stated.
"Can you unencode it?" Xander asked.
"Yea but it may take some time."
"Well thanks for stopping by Spike now get out," Buffy said. Spike started to protest, but was silenced by a kick to the gut, which sent him flying out the door. They watched out the window until he was gone then they turned back to the computer where Willow was decoding the disks. "Well I'm going to go out on patrol ya'll stay here and help Willow with the disks." Riley started to protest but was silenced by the door slamming.
"Would you like something to eat?" Kate asked after hearing Faith's stomach growling furiously.
"That would be great!" Faith said.
"Well why don't you get cleaned up and I'll cook us up something nice."
Faith just smiled and went towards her room.
"Angel!" Cordy said as she ran over to him. "What happened?"
"I got attacked by a gang of vamps."
"Well we had a client call about something today that could be a vamp attack."
"What did they say?" Angel asked as he limped over to the couch.
"Well he was out one night with his girlfriend and they were attacked by a gang with deformed faces. They took the girl and ran of." Cordy explained.
"Why would they just take the girl and leave?" Angel asked confused.
"I dunno, he wants us to investigate and get the girl back."
"Well I'll go out tonight and try to find something."
"You're in no condition to go out there alone!"
"I'll take Gunn and Wesley."
"Well be careful."
"I will!" he said as he walked out of the room to get the others.
Buffy delivered a roundhouse kick to the vamp's head knocking him down. She quickly turned and staked him. Turning around she saw two more coming towards her. She quickly ran over grabbed her crossbow and dusted them. "Well that was fun!" She finished making her runs with minimal trouble.
Faith walked out of the bathroom, after her shower looking refreshed. "Feel better?" Kate asked.
"Much" she said as she walked to the table. "Looks good."
"Tastes even better" Kate said confidently.
"Let's find out then" Faith commented then went about filling her plate full.
"Slow down it's not going anywhere." Kate said in astonishment at what she was seeing.
"I know, but it's been awhile since I've had a good meal." Kate just smiled and joined her in silence.
"Did you find anything?" Cordy asked as Angel, Wesley, and Gunn walked in.
"No" Wesley stated.
"I think we should call Kate and see if there has been a report on anyone being killed or anything that could be a lead." Angel said. "Cordy will you call her for me?"
"Yea hold on and I'll get her on the phone for you." Cordy told Angel.
"Just tell her I'm on my way over OK?"
"Sure" Angel left and headed for Kate's house.
"I'll get it" Kate said as she went to the door. "Who is it?"
"Angel."
"Hold on a sec." Kate opened the door. "Come in."
"I've got to talk to you about something." Angel said.
"OK let's go into the living room." Kate said as she showed him into the other room. "So what's up?"
"Well we had a call today about a new case and I need to know if you've found anyone dead."
"Let me just go get my files so you can see if any of them will help."
"OK," Angel said. Kate walked out of the room and got the file, but before reentering she stepped in the kitchen to check on Faith "hey" Kate said as she walked in.
"Hey."
"Everything OK?"
"Yea."
"Well when you get done I'll be in the other room if you'd like to join me."
"OK then," Faith said with her mouth full.
"Here they are." Kate said as she handed the files to Angel.
"Thanks" Angel said and started looking through the files.
"So what exactly are you looking for?" Kate asked.
"Well…" Angel started, but was cut off by something in the other room. Kate jumped up and ran into the other room followed by Angel.
"Are you all right?" Kate asked as she ran into the kitchen.
"Yea I'm fine," Faith said as she stood. When she turned around she had a look of shock on her face. "Angel?"
"Faith what are you doing here?" Angel asked confused. "Aren't you supposed to be in jail?"
"I got out on parole."
"Why are you here then?"
"Well Kate's my parole officer."
"Wait you know each other?" Kate asked looking between them.
"Yea we go way back."
"Wait does she know?" Faith asked as she moved her hands to show what she was talking about.
"Yea she knows."
"Wait then do you know about me?" Faith asked looking at Kate.
"Know what about you?" Kate asked because she was now confused.
"No, she doesn't but she knows about Buffy." At the mention of that name Faith grew angry.
"Wait you're a slayer?" Kate asked trying to understand everything.
"Yea, but I've been outta commission for awhile."
"I think I need to sit down." Kate said. Faith took her into the other room and sat her down. "Well how did you end up in jail if you're a slayer I mean I've looked at your file, but aren't you supposed to battle evil not be apart of it?"
"It's a long story."
"I've got time." She said as Angel came in and sat across from Kate.
"Well I came to town…then killed a guy…went to the mayor…fought Buffy… got a knife stuck in me…in a coma for 8 months…switched bodies…went to Angel…turned myself in and here we are."
"That's a lot to happen to a girl your age."
"That's just an overview." Faith remarked.
"Well none of it matters now because you have changed I can see it." Angel said. Faith walked over and grabbed Angel in a tight embrace.
"And it's all because of you." Faith said fighting of tears.
"I only helped you're the one that had to actually do it." He said as he hugged her back.
"Hey guys did you find anything?" Buffy asked.
"Well not exactly." Willow answered.
"What's that mean?" Buffy asked in her confused voice.
"Well we decoded the disks and this is not going to be the typical slay it's going to be harder." Willow said.
"We're going to need help then." Buffy said.
"Angel?" Xander asked.
"I don't want to bother him." Buffy said.
"Buffy we need his help." Giles said.
"OK."
"I'll call him while you try to find out more." Giles instructed as he left the room.
"Angel Investigations" Cordelia said as she answered the phone.
"Cordelia is Angel there? I need to speak with him right away." Giles asked.
"He's not here. Is something wrong?"
"We need his help with some things so could you tell him to call me when he gets in?"
"Sure."
"Thanks" Giles said as he hung up the phone.
"What did he say?" Buffy asked curiously.
"He wasn't there he's going to call when he gets back."
"Where was he?" Buffy asked suddenly wondering where he could be.
"I don't know I didn't ask. Can we get back to work now?" Giles asked irritated by her nosiness. Buffy just turned and walked over to where Willow and Tara were. "What?" she asked them.
"Nothing" they said and just snickered at her.
"So did you find anything there?" Kate asked as she was trying to get out of the uncomfortable situation she was in.
"Huh? Oh yea she's here I'll call the boyfriend later and tell him." Angel said. "So Faith, where are you staying?"
"Well here tonight and after that I'm not sure." Faith answered.
"Well if you'd like you could stay at the hotel and maybe even work for me if you'd like."
"Thanks I don't want to protrude on you or everyone else."
"Oh you wouldn't and I'd like to talk to you some more. We could also use the extra hands too."
"Well I guess I could be helpful and could start making amends with everyone."
"Yea that'd be nice. Well I've got to get back, but I'll come by tomorrow if that's all right with you." Angel asked Kate and Faith.
"Yea sure." Kate said.
"I'd like that a lot." Faith said. Angel got up and went to the door and left. "So how do you know Angel?" Faith asked as she turned and looked at Kate.
"Well I could ask you the same question!" Kate replied.
"I asked you first." Faith said getting angry with Kate.
"Well we go back."
"Nice explanation!" Faith said and then turned to leave the room.
Cordy looked up as Angel came in. "Giles called he wants you to call him ASAP." Cordy said.
"What happened is something wrong?" Angel said frantically.
"Everyone is OK but I don't know anything else. Go call him!" Cordy instructed. Angel went to call Giles and wondering what was happening.
"Hello," Giles answered.
"Giles it's Angel. What's wrong?"
"We have a problem with a machine the initiative made. We need all the help we can get."
"Okay I'm on my way, but first there's something I have to tell you about." Angel said.
"Who was that?" Xander asked.
"That was Angel he will be here tomorrow. Well there's nothing we can do tonight so just get your rest no patrolling tonight Buffy." Giles said.
"Okay well I'm going to go. I'll see you guys later." Buffy said. They all say bye and leave.
"Hello" Kate answered.
"Hey Kate this is Angel is Faith there?"
"Yea hold on" Kate went to get Faith.
Faith answered the phone and after a few minutes she turned to Kate and said. "I have to go." She ran to her room and packed a bag. Kate came back to her room.
"Where are you going?"
"Sunnydale."

"Hey Buffy what's up?" Xander asked as Buffy walked into the library.
"Hey Xander" Buffy replied. "Hey guys" she said to everyone else there and then walked over and sat in a chair.
"Buffy I think you should go train." Giles said looking up at her momentarily from his book. "You need to be prepared because you never know what might happen."
"Ugh Giles" Buffy moaned.
"Go" Giles said getting angry.
"Ok ok" Buffy said as she walked to the back and started working out.
"At sunset we will leave so we should be there by midnight" Angel said as he looked at them all.
"Ok then I'm going to go get ready for the trip then." Cordy said.
"We're going too" Wesley said motioning at him and Gunn.
"Ok we need all the help we can get." Angel said and then turned to go upstairs.
"Back in Sunnydale" Faith said as she stepped off the bus. She took a deep breath and walked out of the bus staton. She checked into her old motel room and sat thinking about everything when she heard a song on the radio that made her think of a specific person.

Faith wiped the tears from her eyes. *You're the only person I've ever loved and I have to hurt you. Not this time I'm not messing up again* Faith layed down and drifted off to sleep waiting for tonight.
"I'll get it." Xander said as he walked over to the door and opened it.
"Angel."
"Xander."
"Come in" Giles said walking over to the door. The LA gang came in and took seats. Buffy was leaning against the door frame far away from Angel, who was sitting on the other side of the room, Cordy was sitting next to him, Willow and Tara were on the couch along with Xander and Anya, while Riley was glarring at Angel from across the other side of the room, Gunn was watching Riley, and Giles and Wesley were in the back talking about some book. Giles walked into the room and looked at everyone then said "Well there's nothing we can do tonight, but we need a plan."
"Well what exactly are we dealing with?" Angel asked while Riley stood getting angry.
"Well Adam is a machine the Initative made and now he's out torturing and killing innocent people and he's too strong for just us to defeat" Buffy informed him.
"Well we all can meet here tommorrow night and go patrol and see if we can find anything important." Angel said.
"Well why don't we go Bronzing tonight?" Willow said trying to lighten the mood.
"That's a good idea I could use some fun." Cordy added. "What about you Angel?"
Angel looked at Buffy "Are you going?"
"Why does it matter if she's going?" Riley snapped walking over to Angel.
"I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to..." Angel got cut off by Riley's fist.
"Riley" Buffy shouted running over. Angel was currently punching in the stomach. Riley fell to the ground, but quickly jumped up and did a sweeping kick bringing Angel down. Buffy ran in between them "Stop it now or I'll kick both of your butts" Buffy yelled.
They both looked when Angel said "Sorry."
"Oh no you're not" Riley said as he jumped on Angel and they started fighting again. Buffy reached down and threw Riley across the room.
"I told you to stop fighting or I was going to kick your butts. Now stop it before I get really angry." Riley got up and left.
"Let him go" Willow said as Buffy went to go after him. "He needs time." Buffy came back in and glarred at Angel.
"What?"
"Why'd you do that?" Buffy asked.
"He started it." Angel said like a child being caught in the act.
"You didn't have to act like a child you could have done something." Buffy said getting irritated.
"I'm sorry."
"Well are we still going to the Bronze?" Cordy asked.
"Let's go I need to wind down." Buffy said.
Faith awoke and looked at the clock it was getting late. She went into the bathroom and started getting ready for tonight. She came out in her black leather pants and white tank. She went over to the table by the bed and grabbed an envelope off of it and left.
"Do you wanna dance?" Cordy asked Angel.
"Ummm I can't."
"Why not because you don't wanna have fun is it against your brooding rule?" Cordy asked hastily.
"No I mean I can't dance" Angel replied.
"Oh come on I'll show you how" Cordy said as she dragged him out onto the floor. Cordy was showing Angel some stuff when the song ended and a slow song came on. She put her arms around his neck as he put his around her waist hesitantly. They were looking deep into each others eyes when they just seemed to get closer to each other. Their faces were inches away from each other. Angel leaned down and kissed Cordy. At first it was light but quickly deepened. Buffy looked over and saw this happening and told the others she was tired and left the Bronze.

"Yea and I'm supposed to believe that?" Buffy asked angrily. She then kicked Faith in the stomach doubling her over. Faith came up uppercutting Buffy knocking her down. Buffy didn't notice as Faith slipped something into her pocket. Faith threw Buffy to the side and ran down the street back to the motel.
"Okay did everyone see Angel and Cordy?" Xander asked.
"Yea weird to think about." Willow replied. "After all that is queen C."
"Xander let's go home now" Anya said as she pulled Xander out of the club in a hurriedly way.
"Wonder what they're going to do?" Tara asked.
"I'm pretty sure you already know that" Willow said as Tara blushed a deep shade of red.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me," Angel said backing away slightly.
"I'm not," Cordy said as she pulled Angel back to her and captured his lips. They stood there kissing and everyone seemed to fade away as they were in their own world. "Whoa" was all Cordy managed after they broke apart.
"I think we should talk about..." Angel was cut off by Cordy's lips on his again.
Buffy walked home thinking about what had just happened. When she went upstairs and into her room she thought to herself *What is she doing back. I need a hot shower maybe that'll help.* As Buffy went to get ready for her shower she felt something in her left jacket pocket. "What's this?" She pulled out an envelope. She opened it and pulled out a piece of paper. She began to read it.

Buffy wiped away a tear from her face. She put on her coat and left. She knew exactly where to go.

Faith walked into the motel room and threw her keys on the table. *Well at least she'll know how I feel now. She'll probably never talk to me again. I mean after all we are both girls and she's miss gotta do right and..* Her train of thought was interrupted by a knock at the door. Faith instinctivly grabbed a stake and carefully walked over to the door. She opened it ready to attack but was stunned at what she saw. "How'd you know where I was?"
"Do you mean it?" Buffy asked. Faith noticed her eyes were red from where she'd been crying.
"Mean what?" Faith asked curiously.
"What you wrote." Buffy said as she pulled the letter out.
Faith hesitated before answering. "Yea even though I know you don't feel the same for me." She suddenly found the carpet interesting.
Buffy walked in and closed the door. She pulled Faith's face up so she could look into her eyes.
"You know you shouldn't assume things."
"Huh?" Faith truly had no idea what she was talking about.
Buffy closed the space between them as she inched closer to Faith's lips. Hesitantly she brushed her lips against Faith's. She then deepend the kiss. Buffy slowly pulled away. Faith was still standing there with her eyes closed and a huge smile on her face. Faith slowly opened her eyes after thinking it was all her imagination, but as soon as she saw Buffy her smile grew even bigger. All she could manage was "Wow." Buffy just smiled at her. "Maybe I should assume more often." Faith said as she wiggled her eyebrows.
"I'd just have to teach you a lesson then wouldn't I?" Buffy said as she kissed Faith again this time more roughly. They finally broke needing air. "We need to talk."
"I like this much better!" Faith said playfully.
"Seriously."
"I know I just don't want this to end."
"Don't worry it will only get better."
"I'm going to hold you to that." They went over to the bed and sat facing each other neither knowing how to start.
Angel and Cordy walked off the dance floor and over to where Tara, Willow, and Gunn were sitting. "Hey guys" Angel said as he came over.
Cordy sat beside Gunn, who was smiling.
"What?" Cordy asked when she noticed the way he was looking at her.
"Nothing" Gunn said as he tried to stop smiling. Angel sat beside Cordy as she was talking to Gunn. Willow and Tara started blushing as Angel took Cordy's hand in his.

Buffy finally broke the silence by saying "so nice talking here."
"Yea I don't know where to start I never expected this to happen. I've dreamed and fantasized about it since the first day I saw you." Faith said looking everywhere but at Buffy.
"Really?" Buffy asked as she pulled Faith's face up so she could look into her eyes. Faith got up and walked over to her cd player and put in a cd.
"This will explain everything that I can't even begin to put into words." Faith said as she pushed play.

After the song ended Faith turned the radio off and turned around to look at Buffy. All Buffy could do was sit there. Faith started to fidget and get nervous. Buffy finally looked up at Faith with tears in her eyes. Faith subconsciusly walked over to Buffy and wiped away the tears. Buffy put her hand on top of Faith's and looked into her beautiful brown eyes seeing everything see was feeling the fear, trust, desire, and love. She slowly moved closer to Faith brushing her lips softly. Faith deepend the kiss slowly running her tongue across Buffy's lips as if asking for permission. Buffy slowly opened her mouth giving Faith access to explore. They weren't battling for dominance just letting the other have control. Buffy broke first needing air. She moved back to see Faith still had her eyes closed.
Buffy smiled to herself. "WOW" Faith said as she opened her eyes. "That was amazing"
"It was like seeing fireworks for the first time." Buffy said.
"Well would you like to see them for a second time?" Faith asked with her cocky smile in place.
"Later right know I need to talk to you about some things." Buffy said as she separated herself from Faith so she wouldn't be tempted.
"Okay" Faith said with a smile on her face that melted Buffy.
"Well where should I start?"
"Well how about the beginning because I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be." Faith said as she reached for Buffy's hand. Buffy took Faith's hand and entertwined their fingers.
"Ok well the first time I saw you in the Bronze I thought you were well how do I put this nicely... umm well you get the picture."
"Yea I understand."
"Then I found out who you were and we started becoming friends, but then we made a mistake, and you went to the mayor I felt so betrayed. When I came to your apartment that night I had the intent to kill you, but while we were fighting I started to feel something. When we were on that ledge fighting and I put that knife in you it was the worst feeling I've ever had. Then when you were in the coma I wished you'd wake up and things would be different. When you woke up and I heard I was taken over by emotions. Then they told me you attacked someone and my heart fell. When I saw you for the first time after you woke up I didn't know what I was feeling. I was so confused. Then you went to Angel for help I don't know what came over me. I think it may have been jealousy. When you confessed to the police I went of the deep end. While you were in prison I missed you so much. Then I saw you tonight and everything came back in full force. When I read the letter my heart skipped a beat, all I could think about was seeing you. So here I am and couldn't be happier." Buffy said as she finished.
"Buffy there's something I need to tell you." Faith said as she looked away feeling afraid.
"What is it Faith?" Buffy asked as she pulled Faith's head up to make eye contact with her.
"Ummm..I..I love you B more than anything in this world."
"I take back the comment I made earlier." Buffy said with tears falling freely from her eyes. "Now I couldn't be happier." Faith smiled at her showing all her vulnerbility. Buffy leaned in and kissed Faith. It was a very passionate kiss filled with desire. "I love you Faith." Faith burst into tears. "What's wrong baby?"
"It's just that I never even dreamed this moment could be this good let alone actually happen." Buffy moved over and kissed Faith again. Buffy laid them down on the bed with her body half on Faith's. They were kissing passionately when Buffy slowly started pulling Faith's shirt up. Faith broke their kiss and pulled away from Buffy. "I want to do this right not in the heat of the moment." Faith said as she looked at Buffy trying to read her. "What are you thinking?" Faith asked after she couldn't read her.
"How much I love you!" Buffy said as she got off the bed and walked over to Faith.
"I love you too B. Stay with me tonight?" Faith asked.
"I'll stay with you forever." Buffy said as she stole a quick kiss.
"I just wanna lay with you nothing more tonight."
"Well only on one condition."
"What?"
"That I can still kiss you." Buffy said in a child like voice.
"Oh I planned on that." Faith said as a devilish grin spread across her face.
"Umm Faith one more question."
"Shoot."
"Do you have some pj's I can borrow I didn't plan on needing any." Buffy asked as Faith started laughing. "What?"
"Pj's I don't wear pj's, but I have some shorts and tanks you can wear." Faith said and walked over to the dresser and pulled out two pairs of gray cut-off shorts and a red and white tank. "Which one?" she asked as she held them up.
"The red one cause I wanna see you in that one." Buffy said as Faith tossed her the clothes. Faith started to change and all Buffy could do was watch.
"See something you like?" Faith asked with a cocky tone. Buffy turned beet red. She quickly turned away and started to change. "Hey that's not fair you got to watch me undress I want my turn."
"I thought you just wanted to lay with me."
"I do but there's nothing wrong with looking."
"Sorry no can do" Faith gave her a pouty smile. "No besides I'm done now." Buffy said as she turned around. She went and got into bed and pulled the covers up and patted the other side of the bed. "You gonna join me?" Buffy asked. Faith got into bed after turning off the lights. Faith put her hands around Buffy's waist as Buffy laid her head on Faith's chest. Faith was running her hands through Buffy's hair. Buffy lifted her head so she could see Faith's face. "What are you thinking?"
"Well there's this song I'm singing over and over in my head."
"Sing it to me please?" Buffy asked.
"Well I don't know."
"Please I know it has to mean something because you've expressed yourself through songs so far."
"Ok here goes nothing." Faith said as she began to sing to Buffy.

Faith finished the song and looked down to see Buffy with tears in her eyes again. "That was beautiful." Buffy said as she looked at Faith.
Tara opened the door to her room and let Willow in. When they were in the room Willow stole a quick kiss. "What was that for?" Tara asked.
"Can't I give my girlfriend a kiss?" Willow commented as she walked over to the bed and sat down. Tara walked over to her.
"Anytime just feel free to surprise me."
"It'll be my pleasure." Willow said as Tara sat down beside her. They engaged in a passionate kiss. Tara reached over and turned out the lamp. They laid there kissing for awhile before they started taking it further.
"Did you find anything else?" Wesley asked Giles.
"No nothhing." Wesley replied irritated.
"Well would you like some tea?" Giles asked as he cleaned his glasses.
"Yes I would." Giles went into the kitchen and brought back two cups of tea. They sat there for awhile just talking about everything before finally calling it a night.
"Xander hurry up and get in here!" Anya yelled as she got in the bed.
"I'm coming hold on." Xander replied from the bathroom. When he walked into the bedroom Anya attacked him. "Slow down." Xander said while trying to get free of Anya.
"That's the first time you've ever said that." With that said, Xander carried Anya over to the bed and stripped. Anya followed suit. They finally fell asleep several hours later.
Faith awoke first from what she thought was a dream only to see Buffy beside her. She thanked whoever was responsible for this and layed there watching Buffy as she sleeped. She looked so peaceful and had a child like innocence. Faith leaned over and kissed Buffy. Buffy started to come to when she relized what was happening. Buffy moaned into Faith's mouth and she pulled back startled. "I could wake up to that everyday." Buffy replied with a smile on her face.
"Well I think I can help with that." Faith said as a smirk crossed her face. Buffy leaned in to kiss her long and hard. Buffy broke suddenly.
"My mother is probably worried sick I got kinda busy and forgot to call her." Buffy said panicking. "We have to get to Giles' house."
"I don't think they will exactly welcome me with open arms."
"I wan't you there now and forever."
"I want to be there forever, but..."
"Will you go with me?"
"Anywhere."
"Then get ready we have to get going!" Buffy told her.
"Yes ma'am!" Faith jumped up and saluted her.
"That's more like it now get moving." Buffy said liking the authority. They walked out the door about 20 minutes later.
"Hey guys" Xander said as he and Anya walked in.
"Hey" Willow, Tara, Gunn, Cordy, and Angel said back.
"Where's Buffy?" Xander asked.
"I don't know she said she was going home last night, but she's not at her house so she's probably on her way over here." Willow told them. Giles and Wesley came into the room with a few books in their hands. "Hey Giles" Xander said before sitting on the couch beside Anya. "Good morning" Giles said to them all.
"Are you sure you want me to go with you?" Faith asked Buffy as they were standing at the sidewalk in front of Giles' house.
"Yes I'm very sure I want them to know that I love you and will do anything for you." Buffy said as she took Faith's hand in her own.
"Well they don't exactly like me with the exception of Angel."
"How did you know Angel was here?"
"It's a long story I'll tell you later."
"Is he the only one that knows you're here?"
"Yeah none of the others know."
"Well let's go in and face the firing squad." Buffy said as she walked to the door. Faith tried to pull her hand away from Buffy's, but she wouldn't let go. "Ready to go in?"
"Ready as I'll ever be."
"Just remember we're in this together." Buffy said as she opened the door and walked in.
"Hey Buf....." Xander stopped when he saw Faith come in behind Buffy. Xander lunged at Faith knocking her to the ground.
"Xander stop it now." Giles said as Buffy picked Xander up and threw him about 10 feet.
"Don't you ever touch her like that again." Buffy yelled as she went over to punch him, but was stopped as Angel pulled her back.
"Buffy calm down." Angel said. While all of this was going on Faith was wanting to run but had promised Buffy to try so she stayed.
"Buffy" Faith said speaking for the first time since arriving. Buffy immediately ran over to her.
"What's wrong baby?" Buffy asked as she checked Faith for a possible injury.
"Calm down think about what you're doing." Buffy looked at her confused. "You just threw one of your best friends across the room and almost hit him because he attacked me."
"He shouldn't have done that." Buffy said not believing what Faith was saying.
"He had every right to after what I've done to him. Hell everyone in this room has the right to. I've hurt them all a lot Buffy." Faith said to her but loud enough for everyone to hear. Buffy turned to Xander and apologized.
"I'm sorry Xander I don't know what came over me."
"It's ok I shouldn't have acted like that." Xander said as he walked over to Buffy. "We ok?"
"Yea." Buffy grabbed him in an embrace. Buffy finally released him and turned around to see a lot of shocked faces. Buffy suddenly relized what she had done. "I can explain," she said to them all.
"Well you could start with why you acted like that when Xander attacked her!" Willow said looking at Faith with a look that frightened even her. Buffy turned to look at Faith. She could tell how uncomfortable Faith was. Buffy walked over and whispered in her ear.
"It's ok baby I want them to know." Then she took Faith's hand in hers and they walked into the room. The door suddenly opened and Riley came in. He noticed they were holding hands.
"Buffy what's going on?" Riley asked pointing to their hands. Buffy looked at them all and said "I'm in love with Faith and she's in love with me." Riley was enflamed in rage. He was on Faith in less than a second. He was hitting her with such a force she could barely block the punches. Buffy went to pull him back when he hit her knocking her to the floor. Angel saw this and brutally threw Riley across the room.
"If you ever lay a hand on either one of them again I will kill you myself!" Angel yelled as he was in full game face.
"Angel No!" Buffy said as she regained her balance. "Riley I think you should leave now." Buffy said trying to hold down her incredible urge to beat him to a bloody pulp. Riley stormed out, but before he left he bent down and whispered somehting in Faith's ear. She then threw him out the door. Buffy ran over to Faith and hugged her tightly. Faith let out a whimper. Buffy stepped back from her.
"Are you hurt, did I hurt you?" she asked concerned.
"You could never hurt me." Faith said. Buffy leaned in and kissed her lovingly. Giles cleared his throat and Buffy finally pulled away. Faith turned and thanked Angel for what he did. Then she turned to the shocked group that just looked at her. "Ummm I'm not really good with apologies, but I'm sorry to you all. I'd understand if you can't or won't forgive me, but I do truly love Buffy with every fiber of my being and I will never hurt her again."
"Well it will take a lot but I will try." Willow said.
"Thanks." The rest of the group said they'd try and got down to business.
