It had to be 2:00 am; Buffy rolled over to pull the little bundle next to her.

"Okay little one I know, I know…..It's feeding time."

Buffy unbuttoned the front of her nightgown and began to breastfeed their daughter.

She gently reached down and brushed her fingertips over the soft skin, and marveled at the tiny eyelashes as they lay upon the baby's cheek. "You certainly have your Mother appetite."

"Is that a good thing?" Faith said from the door.

"You're home!"

"Hi baby it's me your other Mommy," Faith said leaning down to kiss her wife then the baby.

"How was patrolling?" Buffy said.

"Not bad dusted a few newbies….ya know the drill."

"I kind of can't wait to get back to slaying……"

"Oh no ya don't we had a deal, baby equals no slaying."

"Faith I am not going to not slay forever!"

"B, I am not having this discussion with you, maybe when Joy is like 5, or 15."

"Faith that's not fair."

"Yes it is B, you are my wife and we need you, Joy and I."

Buffy sighed, she knew Faith was right they did have a deal and she did loving being home with the baby.

"Come here baby, come to bed with us."

"No I can't I am all full of vamp dust, let me shower and I'll be right back."

Buffy watched her wife strip off her clothes from a night's slay. She was amazed at how she was still so turned on by her. Man! She thought my wife has great body!

"Hey B! Are you listening to me….?"

"What honey, sorry I was daydreaming about you, and me …."

"B, I am worried about you, you look so tired."

"Faith that's what happens when you have a baby that needs to be breast fed every few hours, remember the conversation."

"B think about how big your boobs will get and besides it's good for the baby."

"Remember that my dear that was you," she winked at her wife.

"Ya ya ya, I know….still you look tired B. Tomorrow you sleep in and I will take care of Joy for the whole day."

"I love you Faith you know that?"

"Yes I do B, shower now" as she placed a quick kiss on her wife's mouth.

Faith hurried in the shower she couldn't wait to snuggle up with her two favorite girls.

She toweled her hair off and threw on her robe as she made her way into the bedroom she noticed the most beautiful sight.

Buffy was asleep with Joy resting on her knees; the baby was cooing and looking up at her mother. Faith gently took their daughter and moved over to the rocking chair by the window.

"Hi Joy, it's Mommy, look at Momma sleeping isn't she pretty. You know you are the most precious thing in my life? I didn't have the best of life but I promise you won't want for a thing, and that lady over there she is the sun and the moon, she is everything."

Faith nuzzled down into the baby making her laugh the way small babies do.

"You know you are my little princess don't you? You and your mother got me wrapped around your little fingers. I promise Joy I will take care of you, I promise," she kissed the baby on the top of the head.

Buffy stirred as she heard a soft conversation, she had no idea how long Faith had been talking to the baby but what she did hear made her cry with pride, god she loved this woman.

Faith looked up when she felt that she was being watched….."how long have you been listening?"

"Long enough baby. Put Joy in her crib and come to bed, I miss you."

With Joy all wrapped up and finally asleep Faith slid into bed with her wife.

"Hey B I really don't want you slaying for a while okay?"

"Yes dear" was all that Buffy said as she placed a small kiss on the corner of Faith's mouth. Buffy placed her head on Faith's chest and linked their fingers together.

"I love you Faith."

"I know…. B I love you too."
