PART 1

She paced back and forth in the bridal room/downstairs bathroom waiting to be called. Three of the most important women in her life were siting in front of her on the edge of the bath tub, unlike Anya and Xander's attempt at marriage they were not dressed in hideous dresses they would never wear again.

Buffy looked down into the faces and tried a weak smile. "I'm getting married?" She looked at Dawn for reassurance.

"Umm yup, that's why we are here." She rested her chin in her palm.

"Buffy you just need to relax, calm down." Willow stood and stopped the slayer from pacing.

"If you're not sure, if you don't want…. I'll go out there and say you can't …okay?"

Willow's babble was meant to be supportive but it only fueled the slayer's nerves.

"Do you think I shouldn't, I mean, you were all like "Oh she's tried to kill everyone", now you are like a bridesmaid." Buffy was turning green.

"Buffy it doesn't matter what I think what do you think?"

"What does that mean? I love her I mean I do, but it's forever, isn't it?" Buffy looked at the three.

"Men are scum, I don't know much about lesbian's other than they rent a uhaul on the first date." Anya continued as they stared at her open mouthed. "But you and Faith well, you couldn't do that because she was in jail, and I don't think they let you have roommates much less girlfriends move in, I mean not officially anyway, has anyone else seen that movie where the woman are in prison and they are having sex and they kill the male guards?" Anya looked from Buffy to Willow to Dawn looking for an answer.

"Yeah sure great ask a vengeance demon…good one Buffy." Dawn patted her sister on the back.

"Dawnie…I am I doing the right thing?" Dawn stood and walked to her sister.

"I think Mom would have approved." Dawn placed her hand on Buffy's cheek.

Buffy's eyes welled as she looked up at her sister.

"Thank you Dawn, I, I think that settles it." Buffy stood a little taller and composed herself.

Just then Giles tapped lightly on the door and opened it.

"Are you rea……." The words died in his throat as his eyes fell upon the woman he considered his daughter. "You look beautiful." Giles hugged her gently as he fought off an onslaught of tears. "Are you ready?" He linked arms with Buffy and patted her arm. "I've just seen her and her face is chalk white I think we should hurry before she passes out." Giles and Buffy followed the other women out the door to the backyard where the guest were waiting.

When Buffy first saw Faith standing under the arbor at the edge of the garden all thoughts and doubts flew out of her head. She was sure, she was in love, and she was in love with Faith and was going to marry her today. At first the battle had been to wrestle Faith into a dress but Buffy knew to make Faith do just anything was impossible, so she went with her instincts and let her intended pick what she wanted.

Faith was stunning in a white satin suit her dark hair cascaded down the lapels and rested just above the red rose Xander her best man had pinned on her.

As Buffy approached Faith the brunette felt her life speed before her eyes like a movie on fast forward. It stopped at the day Faith asked Buffy to marry her. A day she would never forget, Buffy said yes and the dark slayer couldn't believe her ears Buffy said yes, sped up again to Giles kissing Buffy on the cheek and passing her hand to Faith's.

Faith leaned down and kissed Buffy on the cheek, "My god B you are beautiful."

She brought the blondes hands to her lips and kissed them.

"You ready?" They touched foreheads then turned to the minister.

With the promises made and the rituals over they moved onto what Faith would say was the best part…..The party.

They danced and cheered and toasted for what seemed like hours. Faith dropped to the nearest chair to kick off her shoes, her face hurt from smiling and her chest was thick from laughing. She leaned back in the chair and looked up at the afternoon sky.

"My god how did I get here!" She wasn't sure if she said it out loud or to herself but she meant it just the same, how did she get so lucky. The sound of laughing broke her out of her thoughts. There was Buffy in a satin shift spinning around holding Willow and Kennedy's daughter Lena around and around. The little girl laughed and squealed "faster Aunt Buffy faster." Faith was startled by the hand that softly gripped her shoulder.

"Want one of your own one day?" Xander seated himself next to her.

Faith leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. "I love you, do you know that?"

"Okay Faith and how much have you had to drink?" He picked up a glass next to her and sniffed it.

"Nothing actually, I wanted to remember this day, every little piece of this day and I didn't want it clouded." She smiled at him.

"So what's got you here thinking and not dancing the night away with your gorgeous wife?"

"Just taking a breather, she is gorgeous isn't she?"

"Yup that's our Buff, supermodel by day, slayer by night!"

"Come on Aunt Faith dance!" A pair of little hands pulled at her arm.

"Okay, and was that you trying to steal my wife?" Faith scooped up the little girl and tickled her.

Xander sat and watched as the two slayers danced holding hands with the three-year-old Lena, "Faster Aunt Buffy faster"…….

RINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

The morning buzzer sounded loudly as Faith's feet hit the floor to be counted by the morning shift of the guards.

"Another day in paradise Faith thought to herself."

PART 2

Buffy jerked awake with a start. *Okay that was one seriously messed up dream. Things had been pretty quite in Sunnydale and now this dream! Maybe I am just bored* Buffy thought to herself.

She looked over at the clock on her nightstand, time to get up. Dawn was already dressed and making toast when Buffy reached for the coffeepot to pour a cup.

"So Dawn, you're up and with no trauma what's the what?" Buffy gripped the cup between both hands and took a sip.

"Me, nothing it's five by five." Dawn pushed a piece of toast in her mouth as she grabbed for her book bag.

Buffy spit the hot liquid out her mouth and down the front of her work shirt.

"Wow Buffy drink much!" Dawn laughed as she headed out of the kitchen. "I guess you have to change so I'll walk this morning…later." Buffy wiped the coffee off her chin as she watched her sister's back leave the room.

"Five by five? It is just a, well it's just too much." Buffy reached for the phone and her address book.

"Angel Investigations, we help the helpless."

"Umm, yeah, is Angel there?" This must that girl Fred Buffy thought to herself.

"Hello." His voice sounded a million miles away.

"Angel…it's me."

"Buffy…what's wrong?" Angel's senses went on alert at once.

"Nothing, nothing's wrong, I just have question really." Buffy knew she should be asking him how he was and the gang there but this dream really had her freaked.

"Okay Buffy what is it?" Angel knew that with Buffy he would need to get through her babble.

"It's Faith, is she yeah know okay, is she still in jail?" Buffy chewed her finger as she waited for him to answer.

"Why are you calling me, why don't you just go see her, or better yet call her!" Angel's voice raised in anger and Cordelia put a comforting hand on his arm. He looked at her and nodded. "Listen Buffy, I'm sorry it's just you need to work this stuff out with Faith."

"Work out, there is nothing to work out!" Buffy was flustered and felt a little transparent.

"Sure Buffy, okay, the last I knew about Faith she was fine, I don't get to see her much with the whole sunlight issue so that's all I know really." Angel covered the receiver and said to Cordy, "Buffy is having Faith dreams." He rolled his eyes.

"When will she ever get over herself." Cordy kissed Angel on the cheek and walked out of the room.

"Okay so call myself good advice Angel thanks." Buffy slammed down the phone.

Buffy picked up her bag and travel mug and made her way to the front door. She fumbled with her bag looking for her keys when the phone rang.

"Perfect of course right when I'm supposed to leave great."

Buffy juggled her bags as she reached for the phone.

"Hello." She knew she sounded put out and frustrated.

"Hey, B, ummm Buffy, it's me Faith."

Buffy felt her grips loosen then her bags fell to the floor. She slides down the wall still holding the phone to her ear.

"B, yeah there?" Faith tried to turn away from the line that was at the phone, she had waited awhile to use the phone in the quad and nearly got into a fight when it was her turn.

"B, please I only get a minute, talk or they beat the crap outta me to get the phone."

"Faith, is it really you?" She spoke into the phone like it was some foreign devise.

"Yeah B it's me, I guess by your reaction you had a dream too." The girl in line pushed Faith and yelled for her to get off.

"Listen B, we got to talk…can you come here, please?" Faith held on to the phone like it was a lifeline.

"B, Buffy I got to go, will you come or not?"

"Yes, I'll be there, Faith don't do anything stupid." Buffy pulled herself up to stand.

"Stupid, me come on B, you know me better than that." Faith chuckled a little.

"Yeah right Faith, I'll be there as soon as I can make the arrangements."

The line went dead and Buffy just stared at the hand piece.
