Disclaimer: I own nothing, I know nothing. lol.
Author's Notes: Tara, Anya, Gunn and Dawn are based completely on all the fan
fiction I've read, because I haven't seen the 4th or the 5th seasons of
BtVS, and I've only seen the first three episodes of Angel where Gunn was.

"I want to wake up and remember this." Faith said in the dream. After what felt like a second of darkness, she opened her eyes, wide awake. Sunlight blinded her for a moment, and she screwed her eyes up.
It took her quite a while to realize anything. The first thing she did notice was that her right arm was numb. The second thing was that something had been lying on it for hours. The third thing was that the something was Buffy. Slowly she started to realize where she was and how things were.
After realization came disbelief. //Get up and go see the witches//, she told herself. The only problem with that was that she'd have to wake Buffy to do that. And right now, the blonde looked pretty calm and happy. //Hell, who cares how come am I here?// She closed her eyes again and hugged the other slayer a bit tighter.
There was a knock on the door, and Buffy woke up. Soon they heard Dawn's concerned voice: "Willow, Tara, there's a problem. I can't find Buffy or Faith. They've disappeared completely. Can I come in?"
Buffy glanced at Faith and rolled away from her arms. They both got up. "Are you there?" Dawn asked from behind the door.
"We're here, Dawnie." Faith said, walking to the door and opening it.
"What? Why?" Dawn asked.
"The witches did something strange... we found ourselves sleeping on their mattresses..." Buffy answered.
"Why?"
Faith glanced at Buffy, who mouthed 'not yet', before Dawn even noticed the uncertainty.
"I have no idea... but am gonna find out." Faith said.
"Me too. This *definitely* requires an explanation." Buffy added.
"So let's go get dressed, eat and find the wiccans."
"I'm with you."
They walked out of the room and past Dawn, who eyed them suspiciously.
The slayers headed for Buffy's room. In silence, they changed their clothes and then went downstairs for breakfast. Neither of them was going to say anything before talking with the wiccans. Both remembered the dream, and the position they had been in when they had woken up. Dawn came to eat breakfast with them, and tried to talk about the movies. Faith was very talkative, but Buffy kept glancing at her cellphone.
"Where do you think they've gone?" Buffy asked, as Faith started washing the dishes.
"I dunno. Probably for a walk. Call Red."
"I think I will."
Buffy left the room and dialed Willow's number.
"Yeah?" Willow's voice answered.
"Where are you?"
"Well we just came out of the mall. We'll be there in.... say 15 minutes? Yes, that's probably it..."
"What did you do?"
"Oh you decided to remember!! How'd it go?"
"Er... good, I guess... what did you do?"
"Just a little spell... so what happened?"
"What do you think?"
"Well... you remember what happened? So I guess you talked..."
"We did."
"Oh come on, you must tell me the whole story!"
"That's all we did. We talked, and then went to lay down on your mattresses. I woke up in her arms."
"Aw... cute... so why are you calling me?"
"You're not here, are you? And we want explanations..."
"What kind of explanations?"
"Like, what did you do? Duh."
"I thought that's obvious. And anyway, why would you want to know? It seems like both of you know what happened in the dream."
"Yes, I think we both do. So?"
"O you're so stupid. See you later. Do what you want to, but don't call me again for this reason." Willow said rudely and pressed the "no" button.
Buffy put the phone down. Staring in front of her, she was trying to decide what to do. //"It seems like both of you know what happened in the dream..." so what? I've got to find out...// Then it came to her. She walked quickly to the kitchen, where Faith was still washing the dishes. The brunette didn't even notice she came in, as she was singing some song. Buffy stopped for a moment. She took two steps forth and then stopped again. //Oh what the fuck is wrong with me?// Just for a moment longer, she stood there. Faith seemed to be finished with what she was doing. She stopped singing and turned around. Buffy took two quick steps to her, took Faith's wet hands into her own hands, pressed her lips onto Faith's and kissed her hard, before the brunette even knew that she was there.
Faith didn't even have time to respond to the kiss, before Buffy pulled back.
"I'm sorry." The blonde girl said, thinking //Way to go girl, now just turn around and walk away. You've done enough damage already.// She didn't do it.
Faith was dumbfounded. //Damn. Why didn't I do that?// Buffy was staring into her eyes, and she could well see the uncertainty in the blonde's own eyes. Faith tried to make herself say something, but could not. //Gawd... why am I always so shy when it comes down to Buffy?// she was thinking. As she couldn't say anything, she decided to let actions speak for themselves. She let go of Buffy's hands and pulled the blonde closer, so that they were soon hugging and kissing passionately.
It wasn't until they heard the front door being opened from outside, that they stopped kissing. Faith looked at Buffy, who didn't pull away.
"I'm sorry too." Faith said, smiling at her counterpart, who smiled back. They heard Dawn runnning downstairs.
"Really?" Buffy said, uncertain for a moment.
"No." Faith replied quietly "I love you. But you knew that already." She was dead serious.
The blonde smiled at the brunette.
"I love you too," she whispered. For some reason, she didn't feel that they should break this beautiful moment by speaking too much or too loudly.
"Do you wanna... uhh... tell her first?" Faith asked from Buffy.
"Nah..." Buffy replied and kissed Faith again. They continued as if nothing had happened.
Willow brought their shopping bags into the kitchen, and she was followed close behind by Tara and Dawn, who was telling something to the blonde witch. Dawn stopped dead on her tracks when she saw what the slayers were doing. Willow just went to put the groceries into their right places, and Tara sat down at the table.
It looked quite violent, at least to Dawn. Faith had the back of her head hitting the handle of the draining board's door every once in a while, but she didn't seem to notice it. And the way the slayers held each other - Dawn found herself wondering if they were able to breath at all. And then she realised that it wasn't just Faith and Buffy - it was her big sister and her best friend, the two most important women in her life, making out in the kitchen. Dawn didn't consider it sick or anything, she knew Willow and Tara well, and anyway, she didn't consider herself a homophobic person... but it was still a shock - she hadn't expected to find out something like that. Not this morning, at least.
Faith hit the handle with the back of her head again. The handle broke. The slayers stopped.
Dawn went to sit at the table with Tara and Willow and the slayers followed suit.
"Still want an explanation?" Willow asked.
"No thanks," Buffy said, smiling at the redhead, taking Faith's hand into her own.
"Don't need one." Faith added, smiling happily. She had found her home.
There was a moment of comfortable silence. What was there to say? Nothing. On that particular Sunday morning, things couldn't have been better for Faith or anyone else in the room. They had all their loved ones there, and a long life ahead to be shared with them. What more could one ask for?
